My sister went to Canada to study animation because it was a quarter of the price, faster, and had better employment numbers than our schools in America. Most Canadian citizens & the immigrants in Canada after getting Canadian PR using it as a gateway to America, they're actually moving to a better country like USA America. Not going back to their home countries like India, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Nigeria, Romania, Greece, Ukraine, Phillipines, Vietnam, Venuzvela, Colombia etc.. Most either move to US apply for a work visa & Green Card for citizenship. Or if they're 'money minded' & highly skilled in demanded professions, they move to Dubai, Kuwait, Doha Qatar, all the Middle East GCC Gulf countries, where they earn twice the money in Gulf, than they might earn in USA, like Surgeons, Doctors, Software Engineers, IT etc

In America, the out-of-state tuition rate, which not only applies to International students but also to American citizens outside the state is 2 times the in-state rate. The 5x rate that Canadian universities are charging is messed up. A 500% markup on anything is just greed driven pricing.

Sad story really, but there are many other international students who get it even worse. At least Indian students speak English, have a very large support community in Canada (where pretty much every other person is from India). I only speak because I know. Try coming to this land with no English and no connections at all ...and from a small country in South America, then you really are in trouble.
