I’m sorry, but I have very little sympathy for them, they don’t go through the immigration process everybody else has to, and then they in most cases lie about being refugees, when most of them are economic migrants, and add to that this guy seems to been in North America for a few years and can’t even speak English, doesn’t seem to help his case.

I live in Victoria, and take this. I worked in a place, where the manager was from Asia, and she treated me like hell forcing me to move to another department, claiming she doesn't need an assistant. NEXT day she hired an Asian girl. She obviously needs an assistant, but because she wanted an Asian with her, she did that. And now you go to that department and you find all employees are from her country. Talk about racism, it's everywhere. And yes when an Asian or a black treat others in a wrong way, it's still called racism. People only shout racism when it comes from the White while we do see racism from others, but we don't hear anyone condemning it

As a Muslim, I disagree with the Muslims coming to Canada and trying to change the culture. We have to respect the culture of the western world, just like how travellers who go to the east have to respect the rules. If the government doesn’t like it, we have respect opinions because we shouldn’t make anyone upset.

It’s a myth that Canada has universal healthcare. I lived there for 4 years because of my dad’s job and his employer had to pay for hospital treatment. Canada doesn’t have universal healthcare. The hospitals aren’t government owned but the government pays for the treatment. This favor is only extended to citizens. A true universal healthcare system is the UK. EVERYONE who lives in the UK legally is entitled to free NHS healthcare.

Only permanent residents are required to physically live in Canada for at least 6 months in a year to maintain their PR status. And to qualify for citizenship they need to have maintained this status for at least 3 years before they apply. Cananda is tolerant, not inclusive. I’m a tiny black female and I’ve always carried myself a certain way because of my upbringing. However, I have been racially profiled my whole life. Thus, you can be ok with people being around you but it doesn’t mean that if you had a choice they would continue to remain there. Glad to see organizations like the black fathers and many that were not part of this documentary. I also want more ppl to think about families who have fathers that are emotionally unavailable/ are workaholics or are just puppet dads. This is often overlooked. There are females who stay with deadbeat males out of fear of societal shaming/ fear of being along and decide to stay even though the guy doesn't provide any support... I'm other words, males who create families but are not emotionally there so to say, that in many ways can be super problematic and disastrous for the family dynamic especially for the women and the children.

Let's face the reality. Discrimination is a fact of life whether it's legal or not. But it's not all about race. Anyone can be discriminated against because of the way they look, act, dress, even the way they walk and talk. You can have two people from the same ethnic group and they can have a totally different experience. For me, it's mostly positive. Not only it's positive, I felt I have an upper hand because of my race. If people like you, they will be color blind. If they don't, it doesn't matter what race you are. TRUE STORY : first time i went to Costco, i was ignored and rude to. Finally, i asked why am i being ignored? He apologized and offer to assist me. 28.58, unpopular opinion, its called jilbab not hijab and it's not required to be worn. In fact its states you should not wear something which will bring attention to yourself. It's supposed to change both the race AND the associated word between each photo, otherwise you don't have to read both. The test as administered can't be passed and its results don't have any meaning otherwise. You have to mix up all three things, the photo, the race word, and the associated word, or else it doesn't function correctly. The applicability of the test itself also fails if you don't adjust it to a baseline, as the idea of a 'zero bias' human being simply doesn't exist.
