I am First Nations, from Vancouver Canada. I get security on me, everywhere I go, usually always. It pisses me off. A couple times I spoke up. I'm far from a thief. I'm optimistic af, and honest. They don't give a sh*t. Cause my skin is brown..they assume I'm going to steal and follow me all over the stores.

The tax in Canada is not very high. At least compared to many other Western Nations. \nI came from Germany to Canada and the tax in Canada is a joke me according to me. Income tax with social contributions is roughly 42% even on average salaries in Germany. Sales tax is 19%. Cost for energy and fuel is almost ten times higher than in Canada.\nSure, Canada is pretty expensive. Housing, food and medication are massively overpriced compared to many at EU countries. I need medication every month and in Canada I pay roughly 180 Dollar while in Germany it was zero. Even without the health insurance I would only pay 30€ a month for that.\n\nOverall Canada is good, but doesn't necessarily offer a better quality of life. I only live here because I like Canadian people and the mentality is great.

That is crazy knowing that a lot of us are stuck at the bottom and real estate is getting unattainable, some part of the world people don't even get clean water ... wealth distribution is terrible and is getting worst every months. There's a need for a reset button, it's okay that you make money and that some go to your kids but there should be a limit of how much wealth one group of people should be able to get. Yes Canada is a peaceful nation. You did not mention tent cities in Victoria and Vancouver, B.C. In Canada we only speak English. Quebec should be their own country. I was in the military in Quebec for one week and dropped out. I got sick in the winter and I did not like how they treated people. Remember when your there you have to learn both languages. This is because of the marching drills and it is hard if you don't know French. If I was American I be happy and they only speak English. America rules!
