People are just overreacting about this, there are way worse crimes and fraud being committed right now in Canada. I don't think Canada ever lied. Unlike the USA Canada does not play around. We welcome legal immigrants and bona fide refugees. Unfortunately there is a lot of greyness in what it means to be a bona fide refugee.
