Hello, I just watched your video. Three years after you made it. I hope you are still with us and a very belated Welcome. Many people throughout the world seem to have so many stereotypes about Americans. Whether it is good or bad there typically is some truth in a stereotype. Overall it seems like you are enjoying yourself and no matter what there is no place like home. I would think no matter what your current situation is you still miss Canada as I would miss the United States if I were to move to Canada. \nA couple things you mentioned in the video were not correct and as with anything there may be a little truth in the matter but yet still incorrect.\nThose who do not have health insurance are not charged or taxed $150 monthly. There is a provision in the affordable care act (ACA) that penalizes certain individuals who make above a certain dollar amount. The amount is either $150 or $300 for the entire year. I concur any monetary penalty against anyone for not having health insurance is outrageous. I could be wrong but I believe this aspect of the ACA was never implemented under President Obama and it was indefinitely suspended or revoked by President Trump. I also feel like I need to address your thoughts about the United States all about war. I believe the American people are like most other people and want peace and civility. The government and major defense contractors have differing opinions at times. Of course there is plenty of people who are war hawks but they are in the minority. Most of us are absolutely sick of war. We currently have been at war for almost 19 years. That's six complete world war 2's in their entirety. \nI think you were being awfully generous when you said obesity is on par with the rest of the world!! I learned something new today from watching this documentary, the fact that they actually named a town & a park Africville in the great white north. Some people are naive while others are not when it comes to racism. The very fact of the world has been conquered & dominated with the white supremacy mentality leave very little to be surprise that Canada had slaves. I think from what I've come to understands is that having slavery for 250 yrs most white Canadians will pretend to not be racist, but it's like those two kids in your class the one who had the paper thrown at him & the one who did it doesn't act like he did anything & the rest are just as bad because they saw who did it but are complicit by not saying anything. My problem with women covering their faces is that that men are not allowed by law to cover their faces, so why would a certain group of women have this right. My parents live in Ontario and they’re Muslim. My Mom doesn’t wear either head scarf or a face covering, however she does wear it while praying at home or at the mosque.\n\nWhy I left Islam is a very long story. It didn’t seem right how after 9/11 Muslims around the world were celebrating, including my uncles and cousins back home. I came to Christ in 2010 and I’m so blessed to be saved by grace. I’m so glad I have a choice to love God and not forced any more. I’m really worried for this lady Farzana, I’m sure she gets death threats by other Muslims. I experienced it myself when I told a Muslim man I no longer practiced Islam, and that I’m a believer in Christ. He was furious! I told my parents how I got away and even though they are devout Muslims, they realize how I am in danger and my Mom told me I shouldn’t tell other Muslims about my faith. I told her I wasn’t gonna deny Jesus. She worries about me but I told her, I know my destiny for a fact. I had a personal encounter with Jesus and there’s no way I can deny Him. My only prayer is my family will know Christ and one day we will be in heaven together. I’m looking forward to that day. I honestly don’t want to be here in this awful, world where there is so much hate. I want to be with my Savior soon. I don’t even care if I’m killed by a Jihadi. If that’s how God will show my parents how corrupt Islam is then so be it. I just want them to know Christ.
