Reality of Canada - Very bad weather - freezing with gusty winds with \nsnow or ice ,get ready to shovel alot of snow in winter, winter type \nweather is for 8 months, very high price of house plus other high \nexpenses which are unaffordable like on an average house price is \nmillion dollars plus other expenses makes you 12,000$ per month which \nyou will not get easily as salary, high rents also almost 1700$ for one \nbhk ,whereas on an average you can make 2000 $ /month , high car \ninsurance plus high phone plus interntet plus grocery , no taste of \nindian vegetable & indian food ,its a big problem if you are a \nvegetarian, no specific job industry & 97% warehouse jobs which pay \nlittle also 99% sardars drive truck but truck is a very hard job esp in\n winter ,very hard to get good paying jobs & other jobs fon't pay \nthat much only illiterate people can do , no social life ,even no \npersonal life as women become very weird after coming to canada & \nlots of divorces happens in indian people after coming to canada, people\n of canada are very dead & shows no emotions like indians are . when\n kids grow up they have no feelings fo rtheir parents in canada as they \ndon't know what is indian culture , super worst medical system with 20 \nhours waiting in emergency plus doctors will never give you any medicine\n due to legal fear also you will never get timely treatment or even a \nmedicine like india, also specialist doctor appointments will take 6 \nmonths in canada while you can see specialist doctor daily if you want \nin india , dental & eye is private but very costly only if you have \nwork insurance, no servants or maids like india so you have to all jobs \nlike cleaning house, cooking, laundry ,dishwashing by yourself even if \nyou are coming from 8 hour job which is very tiring , canada is only \nheaven for punjabis for others they have to be very careful

Pakistan is a huge country with 225 million people. Leaving a country is an individual's personal preference however there are so many people who are honest, successful and happy in Pakistan. a lot can be said about your narrative. you failed to mention the age of immigration. That alone is THE single most important factor on the out come of the exercise . anyone over 40 should not immigrate. second the education and skill set you bring will be a major factor in the out come. Third there is systemic racism after a certain level which one can feel in very job. i strongly believe one should come to Canada, get top quality education and skill, work with top quality people/organizations which should not be more than 5-6 years, then go back home. the long term price of immigration is huge. This country needs hands to work and pay taxes so that their show should go on. I m from Lahore. Running my own business last year i made around 6 million pkr profit. And I started my business 3 years back. With lot of hard work and consistency i am able to make it and is hoping to increase it further. For very minor issue they paid around 2 million rs to different Private Doctors. And 3 to 4 operations without even doing ct scan. I luv my kids and would never like them to grow in this environment...

Reminded me of when I immigrated to Canada 21 years ago with 8 years of back home experience, still I had to wait for 5 long years during which I went to school twice to get into my field here, and countless times thought about moving back, but once stepped into my field here those thoughts went away. Speaking of taxes, I don't read my pay stubs in much detail, I'm happy as long as I'm able to pay my bills. Canadian Healthcare system doesn't pamper too much, but it's a great blessing in serious emergencies, I and my family experienced several times getting health services worth of several thousands of dollars and ending up paying nothing, so can't complain. At the end Canada is a great country and a great place to live!
