I find it very depressing that the history of black people seem incomplete,without reference to slavery.....but most nowadays African Americans,don't know much about slavery......and it should be understood that most Africans were born free,they were never slaves.\n How can we bring more dignity to the black person abroad......seeing that the immediate reaction of being reminded of slavery is racism.\nI would like to hear a renewed rhetoric that identifies the years of slavery in speeches. It packages things.

Governments don't give a f about racism because its doesn't apply to them, majority of these institutional leaders are narcissistic, they luck empathy and don't know how to put themselves in others shoes. If they really really want to eradicate or reduce racism they would have done. They love it when they see the minority crying and angry, it empowers them and feed their ego. You have to train your mind and not let these cowards get into your subconscious mind.

Mam, people look at you differently, cos you are dressed differently. Apart from that, how they behave around you, depends on how your group sets as example. Group would mean your identity that is visible to people. In naqab, the first identity that is visible to people is Islam. While you can't control what other people around the world following Islam do. What you can do and encourage other Muslims around you to do is to set examples of kindness. Reaching out to people and helping people. Not just Muslims. And shun those people openly who speak radical Islam. Then you will notice, how people change the way they look at you.

Racism is everywhere a lily white dude I knew was the biggest thief ever. He'd walk out of stores with whole grocery carts full of stuff, Right out the door. I feel some sympathy for her. She is now 28 the last order would have been sent to her mother in 2006 which her mother ignored (at the time she was maybe 14) she would not have had a clue about what happened as a minor, since she was only 6 when she arrived. She should have dealt with this when she was 18 but 10 years have passed...she seems to be contributing and well spoken it's a tough call. I’m confused about something. \nIf there’s not many customers in the store and they’re ones that are just looking around for almost 30 minutes and theres a bunch of workers, wouldn’t they be normal to ask “Can I help you” a lot because they are bored and actually want to do something helpful at their job...? \nI used to help in a library if anybody was looking for something I’d try to help them so that they could find what they’re looking for right away instead of wasting time. If I saw anybody just browsing or wandering around for almost half an hour I would totally ask to see if I could help them. Better to try than not help at all. Why get paid to do nothing? Isn’t it your job to help? \n\nUnless I know exactly what I’m looking for and I know where it is I will ask for assistance, it’s great when they just come to me so I don’t have to track down somebody myself. That usually takes longer.

Why do Muslims always fall back on the old 'this is how I/they/we interpret the Koran's teachings'? How can something that is meant to be the perfect word of God be interpreted in so many different ways? Surely God would be a pretty clear communicator? It sounds like a convenient way for muslims to distance themselves from extremists without actually addressing the questionable parts of the Koran.

Got to visit the neighbors up north two months ago and thankfully, my experience was wonderful! I'm of Mexican descent from Southern California and was visiting St. John, NB, and the people in New Brunswick were surprisingly friendly folks. I even had a random stranger who was worried about my bowel movements and warned me that eating too much seaweed would give me the runs. I absolutely enjoyed my time in New Brunswick and look forward to visiting my neighbors up north again in the near future.
