TRUE STORY : first time i went to Costco, i was ignored and rude to. Finally, i asked why am i being ignored? He apologized and offer to assist me. I told him I'm interested in on a membership and the city credit card. He bluntly told me, he doesn't think I'll get approve for the credit card. I asked why? He said because nobody ever does. I replied, i am not a NOBODY! He said please be quiet and complete my application profile. He did just so. He was genuinely shocked, when i got an instant $4k approval. He apologized again and asked politely what my credit score was. I told him 797 with an 7% debt to racial. He started kissing my butt to the point i felt even more uncomfortable because the love was growing beside me. I HATE BEING PROFILE. I’m a black American and we don’t really hear about black Canadians and their similar struggle (possibly worse since I’m just assuming there are fewer black people there and Canada is not “known” for its racism like the US is so people may not think it’s an issue)

Try next time having them wear something if then ran from police would never be able to get away. You have ppl show up in a store all in black then ask them to act suspicious then yeah... Edmonton city police ; this is a video for them..EVERYONE OF THEM! Immature and corrupt in there duties. Im native in origin and unfortunately i've seen and been in the throws of this very behaviour. Edmonton needs body cams at whatever the cost. Its a few rotten apples spoiling the bunch;but Edmonton has left those apples in the barrel still! Body cams - inexpensive when we consider the cost of the public footing the bill for unnecessary court costs.
