It's so blatant what's going on now. This isn't about race. This is about divide. Whoever these people are who are telling what these companies/media to say are clearly trying to get us fighting each other. It really seems like they're trying to divert attention. If we're all fighting each other we're not paying attention to what's happening to the side. \n\nPlease people. Right, left, black, white, blue, yellow, atheist, or religious. We need to come together. They are using our beliefs against us. I know it's hard to see other's views when they are so radically different than your own, but we have to look at the bigger picture.

As a former best buy employee for 3 years, I can confirm they enforce a 10 foot 10 second rule. If a customer is withing 10 feet of you, you have 10 seconds to greet and share your name with the customer. This is two fold- yes, to help reduce shoplifting, but also to encourage sales. This is something I share and reference with my sales team in a different setting now, however, I can confirm as an experienced sales person, the technique works to achieve both outcomes. It's super sad to see it being used for the wrong purpose in this clip. I think it shows a lot of racial bias. I'm curious what ethnicities the employees were that approached each shopper.

Ive actually living in America applied for a job in Cooperate American. I applied with real name education and work history. I was VERY qualified if not Overqualified...i applied using a different variation of my name amd using my mothers maiden name, and got the job after interviewing with a different supervisor. Once i showed my ID for tax papers etc. I was called into the office on my orientation day amd was told that i wasnt hired using my real name and could not continue employment. Well i wasnt silent. I used to feel angry,when ignored by shop assistants,for whitees ,but I studied things closely,and found that whites dress up .....properly most of the time ,when going to these stores,and shabby looking white people dont get treated,better than blacks......so it gets down to the selfish silliness of the employee....as to who will actually buy their wares,and ensure their pay. Whites generally have a better earning power,so the incentives are aimed at them.

That was totally unfair to assume of Shoppers in Regina. You sent your guy in with 2 personal bags. One was a personal shopping like bag in his left hand (with stuff in it already). The second one was an over the shoulder tote bag (hanging off of his right shoulder and using his right hand to keep it in place). The personal shopping like bag is open at the top and you can easily drop stuff into it, in a second. The tote bag is a fold down flap, which is popular for stealing, you can easily lift the flap ...drop something in...close the flap. If he was actually in there for shopping, he would have had a basket or cart. How is he to carry anything he buys? Both his hands are full. But he wasn't in there to shop....so neither he or the film crew thought of how is he supposed to pick anything up and keep it in his hands. (if he was really shopping). Do the test fairly.

The white guy they used in these test is a lot more socialable looking than I am and I am sure I would get the same treated I am even being white.\nI also worked for best buy and was told to ask people if there was something I could help them with if they look suspicious and standing in one place by a shelf is just one of those things. Another major difference - The US uses the imperial system (miles, yards, feet and pounds etc), whereas Canada uses the Metric system (kilometer, meters, cm, kilograms etc)

We don't use pennies in Canada anymore. It's been about 6-7 years since we stopped using them.

At least 1 cent coins can be used for if you are a few cents short u can use pennies to finish paying for it and with some doors u can unlock them in those cases pennies aren't entirely useless entirely

I agree Drew, I am a native Californian who grew up with relatives from Canada. They used to vist back in the 60's-70's when the Canadian dollar was worth more here than in Canada. We are sister/brother countries just as we are with the UK, and Australia.
