Trudeau needs to have those illegal immigrants in his house. Not in Alberta.

Bad things about Saskatchewan:\n-A LOT of snow, A LOT\n- negative 30c is the norm in winter, summer usually plus 25c (It's COLD)\n-housing prices aren't as cheap as the video says... sure you can buy a place for $280,000 :) ...an apartment. \nA new family house made in 2012 costs $550,000, an old one made in 1980 costs $330,000.\n- Not a lot of bang for your buck. Yes, there are jobs in the major cities but the pay isn't so great unless you are a nurse or work in health care. (Best province for upcoming nurses btw) Minimum wage for the win! \n-As I said previously, minimum wage for the win! There are jobs but you don't get paid enough to live without a roommate or almost be constantly broke.\n-Rent is okay. If you DO manage to get a decent paying job, like a teacher, plumber, doctor, etc, rent is cheap.\n-Expensive retirement. Thinking the healthcare is great for seniors? It is. But, get ready to give every last penny to your senior home. A neighbour got a quote from a local seniors home for him and his wife, $65,000 per year (MINIMUM) for the 2 of them. That's how much the old folks home costed.\n-You need a car. If you want to visit outside the major cities, you need a car. In the cities you can survive traffick by bus, but it is better with a car.\n-You can't see northern lights a lot. Not from the cities. You have to go north, north, north, out in the middle of nowhere.\n\nGood things about Saskatchewan: \n-No cougars. Bears and wolves live here, mainly in the north.\n-People are friendly. There isn't as much crime in the 2 major cities, Prince Albert does have a lot though just like the video said, so I'd steer clear of that place.\n-Great education. Good place to raise a family.\n-Great healthcare. Has most covered in universal healthcare I think out of every province. Seniors like to move to Saskatchewan for retirement. It's a great place to retire if you have the money to move.\n-Lots of local stuff to see. A lot of local shops, parks, camp grounds, etc.\n-Rent is cheap. It's cheaper than Vancouver or Toronto.\n-Food prices are alright. Not good, not bad, just okay. Even a poor single mother can buy some food I think.\n-Lots of land. There is lots of flat land here. Not that you could own it all lol But it is pretty to look at.\n\nHighlights/Best people to move here:\n-nurses\n-immigrants for fast food jobs\n-rich seniors\n-rich families (good place to raise a family)\n\nPeople not good to move here:\n-single people\n-poor seniors

every single reason you have talked about is so slow.. you are gay, you stayed for gay culture. our weather is not bad.. you're just depressed.. need a reason for it. Vancouver is expensive, and you legit just complained and said you make enough to be comfortable. You want gay friends with houses, and Vancouver is not that. Healthcare, you're a silly person.. of course it isnt fully free.. we pay as a whole for it, so that its easily accessible to everyone here. So if you hurt yourself, you dont have to worry youre going to die. ALSO, 50%? wow. you're silly. \n\nyou say that 35$ isn't alot but then complain how it's 50% then brag how you make alot of money, get youre story straight

Being someone that has travelled the world there is no country better then another but.... The cost of living and stuff in Canada yes it's high but we are in a recession ? the housing market has changed jn the past 10 years... It's hard for anyone not just immigrants.. The thing about having experience in a country and not being able to transfer it, there's a reason for that there are plenty of country's that have alot. Of corruption most places u can get fake degrees by paying enough money ;) Indonesia is a big one and we have alot of immigrants coming from there... Imo ca t really blame. Canada for. Any of this, it also depends were you move in Canada,. My hometown is extremely friendly with Imigrants...

Im Asian and I love Vancouver! The weather is beautiful and mild! I enjoy the rainy days cozying up with nice jazz music on gorgeous cafes and restaurants Vancouver has. It is expensive yes, however if your Asian its not, you just havent explored the Asian market place, cheap housing are also available in the outskirt cities and the best part of it is you are near the beaches and outdoor recreation and fun! Taxes are high yep thats true however with three different surgeries my family had from Apendicitis, to Gall bladder stone removal and stent angioplasty that could have cost us millions but got it for free, also the Free education, Child support, CERB, etc, taxes doesnt seem to matter anymore. British Columbia's mountain ranges, ski resort, hot springs, also Albertas Banf, Jasper, and Canmore for me are truly majestic safe and beautiful! Ive been all around South east Asia Europe and even the middle east however the welcoming nature and culture of Canadians and the power of a canadian Passport for me trumps all other cities in other countries. If you want to learn extreme news go to Asia like, China, North Korea, and the Philippines, also the USA the most extreme of them all! Rules are indeed frustrating but Canadian rules are nothing compared to Singapore, if you want freedom try India, try to walk in sexy clothing on the streets. In the Philippines everybody drives drunk specially on Friday nights. The Canadian mindset of a Multi cultural communinty and the welcoming athmosphere of their thinking for me is the reason why Canada is truly the best place to live.

You can't pronounce newfoundland, there's mountains to climb ,trails to walk, ocean and ponds to fish and swim or camp deep in the woods ...not expensive either (sea food and homes are cheap) and no big crime and less drugs ...\nOntario ... H.A ,Oshawa boys and pollution \nAlberta hot enough your kids don't want to leave the house all summer and to flat and boring \nQuebec lol, nothing good to say but without getting money given to them from Alberta's oils they be screwed ? \n\nMoney wise your ratings make sense but the real comfort of living??? You shit the bed lol ... b.c and maritimes are the best to grow up

I was born in Canada and I had a hard time finding my 1st job. Now that I have been working for years, I don't see any chance in buying a house after the covid-19 inflation.

Short answer, they're never gonna be able to afford a single family detached house. But he took 3 minutes of word salad to say that.

Didn’t make any sense to put Quebec as number one, houses’s values are showing people use their money to ranking the provinces.

Canada has no culture of its own. People from all around the world gathered here to escape wars, political issues, or for economic reasons from their home country. When honeymoon period is over (around 5 years) they start realizing that leaving behind their own people, culture, festivals, food, etc was not a good idea. Life in Canada (maybe in United States too) is very monotonous and robotic. Years and years go by\nand people are doing same thing over and over. Weather is very unpredictable to plan out anything in advanced. Due to bad weather entire country is designed to be indoors. People leave their wooden houses in cars to work in buildings with no open windows. Unless you leave in core downtown you won't see people on road as everybody is either in their vehicles, in their house, or slaving away at work. To all people who are looking to relocate to Canada: If you are doing well in your home country then do not leave. Life in western countries look good from far but when you live here it's different. Loneliness and depression will be your biggest enemy. Stay in your home country around your own culture and people.

#1 reason I would leave and I’m a Canadian is Trudeau. He’s a jerk. Canada was so much better without this asshole. I live in Toronto. Lucky enough to buy a house downtown in 1995 and we have good jobs. So $ isn’t a factor like for other people. But the liberals are ruining this beautiful country.

There are plenty of affordable housing.\n\nNot gonna find it in toronto or Honcouver.
|
| 2022-06-09 | 0 |
Let's not forget the fact that houses are made with cardboard. I came from a 3rd world country and never had this issue surprisingly. But unless you have a detached house, you can hear everything your neighbors say and do - there's zero privacy. I'm surprised this is even legal honestly. This might be what I dislike most about Canada. I'm paying almost $2000 per month and still have to listen to neighbors get intimate, argue, play music and everything else. Houses are built very cheaply here.

well sure build more houses. its not going to matter if we keep building the houses we are building.

Quebec #1? Ha. Highest taxes, high welfare, poor quality health care, dilapidated roads that literally fall on your heads with pastimes being smoking and eating poutine. And all they ever talk about is leaving Canada. Reason housing is so affordable is because taxes are so high everything else is not affordable. I was born and raised there and as soon as I could, I moved out of there I was so tired of paying taxes and getting nothing for them.

He just blamed his own immigration policies on the housing debacle. What a piece of garbage.

Wow In the first clip from when you were in Newfoundland, you were like 5 minutes away from my house lol

Quick fix: Remove rent control and build houses. It's called capitalism. Supply and demand.
|
| 2022-05-15 | 0 |
They don’t want you to own a home. They want to own the companies who own the houses, who you rent from lol

Nova Scotia is sort of a hidden gem. Not a lot of people outside of Canada know about it, (and I may be biased as I live there) but everyone I’ve heard talking about Nova Scotia has had positive things to say. Although since this video, house prices have gotten out of control
|
| 2022-05-11 | 0 |
I like how he ignored the question and proceeded to talk about all things that will do little to nothing to affect our housing market.

People leave Canada,no jobs discriminations all levels, harsh 6 months winter, auto - home insurance very high basic foods like milk cheese gas , cheap in USA than Canada , house prices and taxes higher than USA , better medical treatments, you pay insurance and get better service, you will save money to buy insurance , cars , gas, insurance prices lower than Canada In Canada nothing is free you. Pay in taxes and worst service you getting, try to move to South sunny weather choose smaller or medium size city , lots of jobs ,lower prices house and taxes , you will have more savings in your account .

I guess I'll be the one to keep it real...\nWhile geographically, Canada is the most beautiful country on the planet, full stop.\nThe people are not as friendly as the stereotype would infer...housing is criminally overpriced. Taxation is laughably bad. Seriously do the math its approaching 40-45% tax. Meaning after income taxes(23-28 cents on the dollar) then you got sales taxes, excise taxes, provincial sales taxes(another 10-15 cents on the dollar, after tax income on every purchased product). The economy was not that great before trudeau, now trudeau and his bullshit have decimated our national economy and is spending Canada into generationally deep federal deficits of 100s of billions of dollars. Don't believe the hype surrounding Toronto or Calgary or Vancouver, there are catches and trade offs for every plus.\nBtw, I'm born and raised in Toronto and live in Calgary. Canada simply as not as good as the rhetoric would try and sell you

Here's something for Trudeau himself. I loved Canada till he was elected. Now I've been saving to buy a house in Germany and leave Toronto at the end of 2022. See ya!

More money to build houses we cant afford.
|
| 2022-05-02 | 0 |
Facts are in 2021 Canada welcomed over 400 thousand new permanent residents. We printed over 400 billion dollars in the last two years. The average time for a permit to build a new house is over 6 months. What I don’t understand is that we welcomed all the new immigrants while in a housing crisis if a hotel is full do they still keep renting rooms? We printed 400 billion dollars to pay for Covid where if we would have just used masks and washed our hands we could have saved 400 billion dollars. With Canada having one of the world’s lowest population to land mass and tons of natural resources I can’t understand how we can’t cut costs shorten wait times on permits.

It depends on where you are in the USA. Neighborhoods with smaller houses closer together are usually more friendly.
|

AND WTF DO YOU GIVE IMMIGRATION ALL THE HOUSES THEY WANT AND ALL OUR JOBS??? \nYOU ARE NOT A LEADER! NOT FOR ME!!! ?
|
| 2022-04-27 | 0 |
Why move to a foreign country and insult the lifestyle of the people who live there, calling them broiler chickens and saying their houses are ugly? No one forced you to move there, or to stay there.
|
| 2022-04-26 | 0 |
Some of my relatives moved to the states and instead of separating they bought a big house and lived together. I know westerners wouldn't understand but we as humans need each other.
|
| 2022-04-26 | 0 |
housing construction is still going to make houses still expensive. The supplies are so expensive because the GAS thats used to transport the supplies is expensive. Trudeau doesnt understand what Canadians are going through because he was fed with a golden spoon

You don’t realize this stuff until you’ve lived elsewhere. After living in colombia and spending Eid in Morroco with a family… I may have more monetarily, but it will make up for the wealth that cannot be measured with a bank account that so many other countries and cultures have. \n\nAlso… the US wasn’t always like this. What you describe as family/neighborhood life in Africa I had as a child in salem oregon. Now 40, I asked my parents one day if all the parents with children had left the neighborhood. They said “no, all the kids stay inside anymore.“\n\nI asked them if this was because of the pandemic. They told me “it was just as bad before the pandemic. Parents just don’t let their children out of their houses anymore, or take them off to a million preplanned activities.”\n\nLastly, this is very much a white North American experience. I have noticed that if you don’t fitness demographic, these rules and norms don’t apply nearly as much. The sense of community within minority groups, even those that have been here for many generations, is significantly tighter than their white counterparts.

you want a house built, hire a carpenter ! you want your car fixed , hire a mechanic ! what do expect from a drama teacher ? naturally DRAMA !!!!! explains it all.

One way to stop the housing crisis, is to stop immigration ? ? ?
|
| 2022-04-25 | 0 |
In my family, we make more than 5x what our parents did, yet they own a home and we never will. I'm with the kid, LAUGHING at the insanity of the housing market. There's also plenty of homes available... my friends own 5-10 houses between them and rent them all out for example. Because the system made it trivial to do so with HELOCs on invisible money.

So this was 9 years ago you know is the problem the real white liberals and human rights groups that doesn't let government take action well here is a prediction years from now 2030 or 2040 London will face huge muslims riots for Sharia and many innocent people of London will. Die because they are not muslims and these liberals and media houses will somehow blame Christians of England that they were the first who started riots be safe and mark my words London is on very dangerous path

Well, I live in Germany. Honestly, it's true. You basically stay at your house, go to work and that's it. Then you die and then they throw your a** in a hole. That's it.

I have been to many different countries. Seems people pay rents or mortage and only go in the house to sleep in many countries. Families all live nearby. Being a single parent here is a hard life. Even family wont help you much of the time. In countries I have visited..most life seems to happen outside, groups of people outside talking or walking around, lots of life and activity. The USA is the land of the lonely, broken families and people strung out on drugs or drunk. If you are not watching your child, they can be kidnapped. Many people dont allow their kids to roam around alone. I crave to go to other countries and enjoy. I love the USA, dont get me wrong. Saturday nights here, Tucson, 1000s of people are partying downtown.. so there are things people do communally here, partying is one of them. Some sporting events as well.. huge crowds of people go to various sporting events, football, basketball, baseball and hockey are the main ones.

Hes said in the past that he views housing as an investment. Unless hes changed his mind things are not going to change.
|
| 2022-04-24 | 0 |
I hope this is the peak of the housing market and it’s all downhill from here, but that will require some seriously speedy construction, from skyscrapers to townhouses, detached is probably not worth it to build anymore bc it takes up too much room
|
| 2022-04-24 | 0 |
It’s the greedy house sellers, who raise the prices and sell for high, and now they want to make it affordable for next generation. What about ppl who bought at the high price?
|
| 2022-04-24 | 0 |
I don't know but there is plenty of house construction in the Outaouais region. I think he is out of touch with what real Canadians.
|
| 2022-04-24 | 0 |
That's right because Immigrants have enough money to buy houses, that's what is driving up the price of houses!?!?
|
| 2022-04-24 | 0 |
So basically in short immigration has caused the housing market to sky rocket so now your son who's worked and lived here his whole life cant afford a house. But don't worry 4 billion of your tax dollars will make sure immigrants have a roof over their heads
|
| 2022-04-23 | 0 |
“Housing construction hasn’t kept up…” Again not Trudeau’s fault, it’s those nasty home builders that have made this problem. \n\nTrudeau allowed this runaway housing problem to snowball. He’s at fault.
