I'm so embarrassed for my country. These fraudulent people, are us now. They vote, and are going into politics. \nWe don't have the guts, to kick them out. And let people in, who want to BE Canadian. \nOld style immigrants, came here with little, made this home, and built this country.

For this kind of people is why migration policies become more and more strict with time. If you want to migrate to the country of your dreams, do it the right way, don't be illegal.

Wow if someone don't want to live here why they need citizenship of this country I m confused. I mean what's the purpose

There are many rich chinesse immigrants who want to have a safe haven if things get bad in China. They will do anything to migrate to Western countries. Authorities have to be vigilant on this matter.

When they don't want to live in Canada and they love their country why they apply for citizenship, we had an almost same case in USA few years ago a Chaineas family brought 8 or 9 months pregnant Chaineas women to give birth to their children in USA for US passport and citizenship when police arrived at their home there were 35 couples in a 1800 square foot building with the new born baby and some at hospital and they normally left US after few weeks,usually Chaineas love their country but I don't understand why they want western countries citizenship.

I watched the whole thing and I still don't understand why some Chinese want to be Canadian citizens if they don't want to live here? Like what's the point? Do they want to influence political systems with votes? Do they want a convenient vacation place? Is it for tax reasons? Do they want an escape route in case China goes south politically? Why pay a ton of money for a citizenship if you're not in that country at all?

Never mind I'm a legal passport carrying US Citizen that only want to visit Canada for a few day, and actually bringing money to the country, and paying for my own lodging. Canadian border patrol gives me the full shakedown.

The thing that needs to be explained to all would be immigrants: Go to the US Embassy in your country or whatever country you want to immigrate to and seek asylum or visa first, if the consular won't give you documentation, don't even expect to be welcomed into the country later, and if you are in the US illegally, visa expired, schools out or you crossed the border illegally you are committing a crime that could land you in jail and deported, you may even lose the right to enter the US later! If you are here illegally now, go to your consulate, they can help you!

Should have come legally. Go to your embassy and start the process. All these people came on lies being told to them. If you want to leave your country.....do it legally !

It angers me what this man has done to his family. How do you claim asylum in a country when fleeing from a country you came to illegally? Immigration laws are very important and protect citizens of a country in many ways. The US welcomes immigrants with open arms when they come here legally. These individuals want to challenge our rights to protect our people, our country. This family may be no threat to our country but if laws are not followed it opens the way for the wrong people to enter. I’m so tired of this manipulation. This man is responsible for the pain his children are going through.. not the countries standing by their laws to protect citizens and legal immigrants. If you know something is wrong and you do it anyway how do you then blame someone else for the consequence? Aside from this.. when do people start taking a stand and making positive change in their own Home Countries? So many of these people support corrupt leaders that promise to give them all their desires and then when things fall apart they want to flee. The problem in this world is people refuse to take responsibility. It’s always someone else’s fault. If we allow people from other countries to neglect our laws our country will fall as well. Lesson of the story? Don't break a countries laws by entering illegally and then expecting the system to coddle you - try filling out the papers, wait your turn in line and do what you can while you wait, maybe work to improve your home country? Canada was founded only for white Europeans. It was never intended for people of colour.
