My personal opinion after living in Canada for 10 years and I do not plan to move, is that these points are valid, but it is part of the research that each person must do before moving to any country. Much of this information is available and the government encourages you to know the country well before applying / moving. \nThis not only happens in Canada, but in general they are matters of personal taste. \nCurrently the job market is very good and there are plenty of offers. \nIf you are looking for money, Canada is not the place, but overall it is a very good place.

I simply watched the first 3 minutes of your video and knew that right off the mark YOU ARE PERFECTLY RIGHT. Ontario alone has so many cab drivers that are foreign trained doctors that are badly needed as it has the worst healthcare system in Canada outside of the northern territories. Immigrants coming to Canada are also the best job creators in Canada and as such are much needed since the Canadian government has repeatedly failed to support its own industries and people since the 1950's. GREAT JOB LADIES.

Canada is becoming a dictatorship, and the government has been using the Covid as an excuse to create fear in order to control its citizens. That’s what many people are saying these days.

Id rather have the 40% of my salary used by the Government for medical and educational purposes than those politicians pockets. If you live in Asia corruption is outrageous! So, I'll still go to Canada!

All very good points and things to consider before moving. I guess some points go for more countries because moving to another culture is hard anywhere. You forgot to mention all the crazy mandates concerning Covid. I know it's everywhere but I have close contact with my sister in Europe and I can say that Canada is going WAY OVERBOARD with the government control on the citizens. Now, (Nov.30) they will refuse unvaccinated residents to leave the country. WHAAAT?

It's not just immigrants who leave Canada. My parents were born in Canada. My grandparents were born in Canada and six of my great-grandparents too. I was born in Toronto. Got my first degree from a Canadian university. Then a Master degree with a teaching assistantship at an American university. Then got a scholarship to study at a UK university. in the UK asked to conduct a graduate seminar for MSc students in quantitative analysis and computer applications at a major UK university. Then appointed senior research officer and leader of a research program in operational research. Then appointed principal scientist for a UK government agency. Eight years studying and working abroad in senior positions. Time to return to Canada. But could I get a job? I could not. \nAnd so I have a base in another Commonwealth country with a better climate, lower living costs, less tax and less government regulation. And from that base, I have worked in 20 countries all over Asia. With none of the bullshit I hear from the likes of Justin Trudeau. And none of the age discrimination common in Canada.

I was born here and lived in Canada all my life. I have travelled to many places as well. I love the country of my birth, but our government has corrupted things beyond an easy repair. These ladies are correct. We are no longer the “brand” as advertised. The government propaganda has people convinced we are the same country, while they steal what is left from our pockets and over-work those who still care for its’ people. It is not just immigrants who should consider other places to live. Go where you are treated the fairest - I have trouble finding real evidence that is here.

I don’t agree with Quebec as a whole being up so high on the list. They have their own tax and medical system , much higher cost. You must have your children in a unilingual French School unless you have substantial proof that they have a solid English background. English speakers for the most part are ostracized in most of Quebec except some areas of Montreal. All government work places speak only French and there are no English rights in Quebec unless you work for the government of Canada and then good luck getting a job in Quebec as they are designated a unilingual French language speaking province for Canadian government jobs and you won’t qualify unless you speak and read and write French. All signage is restricted to French and the province doesn’t follow any international standards. Even the air traffic controllers only speak French which is why most major airlines don’t fly into Quebec as the standard of language for them is English world wide except Quebec. They have different road rules, tax legislation and pension than the rest of Canada. Wouldn’t want to live there myself. I have a sister in Montreal. Don’t know why she stays.

Everytime I look at Canada I tell myself wow, what a beautiful country, but then I realized how depressing life is here in Canada. As an immigrant I have so many thing to be thankful for living in Canada,but also so many more things why I am planning to leave. Housing is unexplainablly expensive, cost of living is going too high for wags to catch up, drug problem visible in every city, mediocre jobs , unwilling government that has zero Desire to make this country grow to its full potential the list is endless. I will always love Canada, but life here isn't as good as it's portrayed to be. People just live so they can work so they can live to work again and can't even break even, many are too depressed and end up on drugs rising homelessness.

okay, i'm gonna play the devil's advocate.... based on my experience of living and working in 2 cities of the East - Dubai and Delhi, i can say for sure that Canada is light years better than these cities ..... if ur worried about high costs in Canada, Dubai will scare the living daylights out of you. Dubai has a very unstable economy, absolutely no chance of saving, and no free government services. So in case you are diagnosed with a serious medical conditions may god be with you. I loved staying in Delhi while growing up, got some valuable life lessons, but for a working class person Delhi is nothing short of hell.

The Canada of today does not even remotely resemble the Canada I grew up in. It's ridiculously expensive, government services are a joke and frankly, the weather sucks. I do not recommend my country to any prospective immigrant. You'll be very disappointed.\nI'd move to France or Hungary in a heartbeat.

I’d love to visit Atlantic Canada: all my friends here on the West Coast say it’s very nice. \nI loved living in Quebec and Montreal, but both cities are very cold in winter—and I don’t speak no french too good, hoste! \nI’m from Ontario. it probably was a beautiful place until white people got there. But it’s way too hot in the summer and too cold in the winter. Most of my family has moved out to the West Coast. I guess they missed me.\nManitoba is very nice, but you’re right about cold winters and lots of mosquitoes in summer. Winnipeg is a fantastic city. The biggest city on the North American Plains.\nSouthwest Saskatchewan is absolutely beautiful. Nuff said.\nAlberta is one of my favourite provinces—just too bad about the goofy government they got there. I lived and worked there lots over the years. Many Albertans have moved out here to the West Coast to get away from the horrid politics there.\nBC is by far the best place to live. I live in the steep rain shadow of East Vancouver Island, nice and warm, short if any winter. All my friends live here. I used to live in Victoria—we might move back there—it’s my favourite city anywhere. Vancouver is a blast—but too big for me. I wouldn’t live anywhere else in this country but BC. \nFriends tell me Yukon is great but NWT’s Yellowknife is a hell-hole. I read a great online zine from Nunavut—Nunatsiaq. As close as I’m ever gonna get.\nSo you’re ranking is not very good from my perspective. Alberta sucks because of its dependence on bitumen—and it’s not “cyclical”, it’s doomed. Tons of crazy anti-vaxxers and religious right wingers, too. Quebec is wonderful, but too, too cold in winter. Plus muh french ain’t too good, eh...

I agree with everything you have said in this video. I've lived in Canada for over 10 years and must admit, i don't feel at home here at all. I feel Canada is overrated for no reason. House prices are insane, it's almost impossible to buy housing in any big city in Canada anymore. I agree with a lot ppl, the healthcare system here is poorly managed, with long waiting hours if you have an emergency (personal experience). As someone living in a big city in Ontario, it feels like everyone is just busy chasing money. Nobody has time for friends, chilling, etc...Sometimes i feel i have to book an appointment with my own friends if i want them to hang out with them. As an immigrant myself, i must say I hate the mass-immigrant policy that the government is pushing. The neighbourhood i live in, has changed face/demographics so many times... Every group sticks to their own and it feels you'll never be able to adapt as it keeps changing so fast... I also don't like how Canada is pushing their far left agenda down the throat of everyone, with being Politically Correct, promoting LGBQT to underage kids (i don't have any issue with what ppl do in their bedroom, i just have issue with the promotion of it), minority this & that (even though im considered a minority myself). If you come from a middle income country, you'd soon realise Canada ain't so much better than where you come from esp if you have education, healthcare and jobs available. I'm only waiting to win that lotto max now, so i can just return back home and live a quiet peaceful life.

Born and raised in BC. BC means bring cash. Everything cost more in BC. GOVERNMENTS are more greedy in BC as well. More tax here more expensive to buy houses in BC as well. . fuel costs the most in world in BC I'm sure. Many of us leave to eastern province because BC is too expensive. I think the problem in Canada, and its the Government of course, is they are doing what they may ridicule other countries of doing, and that is cheap labour and more revenue. The people who built this country would be rolling over their graves if they new what this country of Canada is doing today. That is why if you notice they open the doors hugely and manly for Asian cultures. They promote immigration by using opportunity for a better life, then they make people struggle because they cant not even afford a home. They rely on all this housing and condo development to fill them with larger families for more taxes and revenue while they people next to nothing. Canada DOES NOT SUPPORT its own industrial and manufacturing growth and small business because its much cheaper to have everything made in China which support foreign slave labour. Sometimes I feel ashamed ro be Canadian, however I like to say I am proud to be OLD SCHOOL CANADIAN.

I see india is the best place for medical treatment. There are very beutiful hospital, doctors are in india. No que for any treatment or emergency. India government has beutiful medical cards to all where be one can get any hospital. There are Aurvedic , homeopathy treatment also here .india has 100 times better medical treatment than any country. Lacks of doctors ,nurses ars coming out of colleges . Like Lacks IT professionals ,doctors are coming out. There are affordable hotels in crores in india which are very healthy . Even sreet food is tasty. So good, health , education no one can beat India. If you have simple life habits it is the heaven to live on earth. Today india is moving towards huge infrastructure development. In ten years india become Atma nirbar bharat. 3 .5 crore population Canada struggling in jobs , health,weather. But india with 130 crore population 80% are highly educated with culture and social values . Hungry people will get food here freely.

I have been waiting for our invitation since 10 months. There is no answer from government. I am a nurse from India and I would like to migrate to Canada. But, there is no chance to settle there

The reason people leave Canada within first 20 years is they do not have sizable retirement fund to enjoy comfortable retirement life after retirement. The reason half of that leave within 1 year is they cannot afford to live decently here until they find a job in their field or it takes many years before they start making a professional career and seeing the plight of immigrants of their community struggling in menial low paying jobs living in dorm rooms. These two ladies seems from east european backgrounds, these people have comparatively better prospects in Canada than immigrants from Asia or Africa. The reason skin colors make lot of difference. The reality is Canadian government is trying to do everything it can to create opportunities for all immigrants but unable due to racist white people. Just giving a job to immigrant is not enough, they must be able to sustain those jobs for reasonable periods of time. This is where Canada ls lagging. This is clear proof, Racism is very high in Canada. Just the valid proof is these two ladies open an channel and got 180K views within 3 months, they probably make lot of money on this channel. This is Canada. If they really have much productive jobs they will not do this.

I was up in Canada for business and ended up staying in the great White North for a year eh!, and now back in the land of the free. \n\nHow would you compare Government control of business transactions by citizens (All Legal)) in Canada and that in the USA? \n\nI'll even throw in an example, so please don't delete this comment i would love to gauge the reaction of others. \nCrypto is huge and in its infancy, great opportunity for business folks that know how to play the game. I invested $1000 US and purchased two Tokens at a fraction of a cent and had 200 Billion Tokens in my wallet (Token/Coin Birth). My business partner in Texas made the same purchase. Fast forward two months, he has $980Million USD in his wallet and I have $600 USD in mine (i was in Canada, My partner in Texas USA). All transactions were block chained and reported for taxation . I prefer Canada over the USA why because there is less racism when compared to Canada. It is very peaceful the demerit is people have to pay higher taxes to the government. The other people I mean Canadians are very humble.

I will be leaving Canada within a year or so after declaring non-residency and bring my business with me. My view is that Canada is a good place to live a normal life. Healthcare covers your peace of mind, even if the waitlist is long and bureaucratic. Social benefit is not as generous as people suggest sometimes (at least in Canada unless you're on actual welfare where you can't work but you can't rise your way up easily and you're forever stuck in 1.5k CAD/month... which would be ofc much better than other struggling countries but immigrants often aspire for greater things than that. \n\nEven though I was an Asian immigrant, I never faced significant racism afaik (I could be socially naive however), but there are definitely limitations of opportunities. It's not too difficult to find entry to intermediate jobs, at least for me but that's probably because I did schooling here in Canada. And I was able to network aggressively and learned to be an extrovert, so that also helped. But still, Canadian living cost is high (and I'm saying this from Calgary... imagine what it's like in Vancouver/Toronto). Is it doable? Ofc. 50-70k CAD/year is quite doable ESPECIALLY in Calgary, Alberta. But it'd be difficult to achieve financial independence and true wealth. This is true everywhere ofc but more so in Canada compared to, say, USA where living cost is lower and wage is higher with more opportunities. It's a great place to live normally. If you wanna become exceptional (wealth, customized goods and services, etc), it become harder and costs more. \n\nEven now when I now own business after struggling to get here over 10 years that generates income that I need to achieve financial freedom, tax becomes frightfully bad. Alberta (that imposes lowest tax rate compared to other Canadian provinces (not including territories for obvious reason) is comparable to California in USA that is among the highest in all US states. And let's be real; Alberta is nowhere close of being California. Imagine the taxes in BC/Ontario shiver. \n\nOnce my tax rate becomes high enough to justify moving, I will pull the trigger. Still window-shopping where I wanna go and I have some lists but it's gonna happen especially as Canada will have to deal with their struggling economy, further distancing from US and their government mismanagement that continues to cost the society. I will not have any part in it. I may come back once in a while for visit or potentially retire depending on what the future looks like but right now, I just don't see my longterm future here.

I just left Canada because the government sucks!!!!! The taxes are insane. There are way to many government jobs with pensions!!! Post office people get huge pensions. It just doesn’t make sense with the cost of living. I live in Germany now and it has a way better cost of living!!!!!

Work ethnic, I wonder, even productivity, very sure they are no where to Japanese or korean, even to Europeans, I was very lucky left the country after going through the weather, people, migrants plus government rules and regulations that was in 88, was in Winnipeg, now it takes me few hours to Thailand puket to enjoy life. I'm part of that statistic. I moved after 12 years in Canada. I moved to Asia with a one way ticket and have never looked back. One reason why I never thought about returning - one year where I live in Asia is equal to five years in Canada savings wise. Like that old joke back in the 80s, Canadians work for the Government for free six months of the year

Canada is a beautiful place to live. But it's hard to find a job. If you don't know anyone in high places there is no promotions and it depends on your culture. I would suggest to make a life in Canada and go back to your country of birth. It's hard for housing and to own a home in Canada...Government need to do more regarding housing for low income families and single parents...

Once upon a time, a lot of people in Europe dreamed of going to the United States and living there. Today it's very hard to find someone like that. The United States has fallen very low and is now like a junction of hell and a landfill. America made one mistake: it chose the invisible hand of the market. Europe for the free market with the addition of state intervention. As a result, people in the USA are very neurotic and are constantly afraid of their tomorrow and their credits, and in socialist Europe people live safer and are simply happier. They don't have so much pressure for success. Success in Europe does not lie in great wealth, but in a comfortable and peaceful life. Canada is a bit more like Europe, so the people of Canada are maybe happier. But it is still a long way from the European Union, where governments care for the well-being of ordinary people, and not just corporations.

I have been PR and working ( oil & gas ) in Canada 50% of year for past 7 years. Buy house in Banff and pay ridiculous high tax. I am happy in Canada, but will never leave Russia. Wife and kids come to vacation in winter to ski and we enjoy this time. Probably biggest reason we would never stay in Canada is low IQ liberal government of virtue signalling imbeciles. I understand that working for a company, restaurant or a hotel is tough, especially finding one. \n1)What about if an immigrant has a kind of business skill or experience say in a fast food sector and has all that it takes to run a small fast food shop, which i think is better and more lucrative than trying to find a job elsewhere. Does the government of Canada or the Municipality of a city the immigrant is in, lend a hand in such matters?\n2) From one of YouTube videos I came to know that people living there have to pay several taxes including federal taxes, provincial taxes, unemployment Insurance Premium (UIP). Does this apply to new immigrants as well? When do these taxes come into effect for the immigrants and under what conditions? thanks.......

People must ask themselves a question that why western countries offer citizenship to Muslims knowing very well that their religious, cultural and social values are poles apart? GORA is very wise. He is looking at your 2nd and 3rd generations. He knows that they would be just like them in next 30 to 40 years. It is happening already in countries like UK and it will happen in Canada too. The price to be paid is very very heavy from Islamic point of view. Blue skies, fresh water, KHALIS milk and eatables, good governance, economic prosperity, all Is too little in this bargain. It is nice to go abroad for higher education or earning money but permanent citizenship meds lots of pondering.

Sir, with due respect. Contrary to what you qouted as examples, there are hundreds of families from that part of the world talks about what they had experienced as Muslims. They talk about Islamobphobia and their personal experiences. Sir Waseem and Others are living in Canada, aren't the others living in the similar society? We admire the Government for all their care for Muslim community, and yet you are trying to dify its narrative. Your PM categorically viewed this incident as a branch of Islamophobia.
