I am against outright racism. Although I look as though I am part white, I am not. I am however for profiling. The FBI does it with some degree of accuracy. All that means is that you have one demographic that commits certain crimes or faux pas and should be looked closer at. So what? Do stores follow blacks or teens because they have a lower rate of theft? If that were true, then the profiling would be unjust. As a Mexican American I have faced all types of racism from people of different races, including my own. I lived in Mexico for a while when I was young and would get bullied by kids who knew I was born in the U.S. Teachers also treated me different; some treated me worse than they treated the other kids, and others favored me because I was American. When I moved to Philadelphia I attended a school that was predominantly black and asian. I was the only hispanic in my class. At the time Spanish was my main language and my English was “rusty,” which led to constant bullying from classmates. They would call me “dookie face,” tell me to “go back to my country,” and even had some girls put gum on my hair. I would cry every day. I later on moved to Chicago to an area that was mostly hispanic, and that didn’t stop the bullying, either. After I finally refined my English, I no longer wanted to speak Spanish unless it was to my parents. Yes, I guess the constant bullying pushed me to feel like I had to separate myself from my hispanic heritage. When my hispanic classmates spoke to me in Spanish I only responded in English, which would make them mad and they would think that I thought I was “better than them.” Anyway, that was long ago and now as an adult I can reflect on these things so that I don’t make the same mistakes. I get along with everyone and the only thing that changes how I feel about someone is their character, not their appearance.

When I was in college they had tested people and found that if a woman was a writer they found out that there was a basis against women writers. They thought that women could not write as well as men, which didn't make any sense. What about Agatha Christie? She is considered one of the best women mystery writers of all time. I read her books when I was in my teens and twenties. There were many other women mystery writers, too many too name here. I feel sorry for the people who are on the receiving end of racism. My late husband was Creole. I hope we work past these attitudes some day.

Trust me the only reason I would never move to Canada would be coz of Punjabi’s. I know lots of people with fake diploma that are working in insurance company. I also know some guys that have paid $3000.00 to get their certificate in interior designer. But when they were hired to do interior designing work, they were so called offside and didn't know what to do. As a result they were fired. Same person was also trying to sale a condo that was not theirs, they got caught. There is a guy that charges $3000.00 and will provide you anything you want. You could be a dishwasher today, a week later, you could be a doctor. That really sucks.

This is an ongoing problem in Canada for decades. Chinese investors took over Vancouver long time ago. The government didn’t do anything about it back at the time.

The problem is the government didn't know how to make enough money in the country...... That's why they want more other people to do investment or have business in Canada in order to bring more money into the country. The fact is the social welfare is too good that government might not be able to afford that big spending. First, Government needs to know how to make money on their own, not depending rich immigrants. Second, encourage citizens to have baby by providing benefits for them, to boost the birth rate. Third, stop being so nice to refugee, stop importing refugee! The biggest problem of refugee is they don't make money to the country, they rely on social welfare heavily.

I worked for a lady who once worked as a border officer and she said she let in a bunch of people who didn't have the paper work or who she thought was a criminal type person. It was disturbing.

America has so many issues that everybody wants to blame another race/culture for the deep problems. She is just mad that she didn’t save a lot on her car insurance.

I grew up in BRAMALEA, now incorporated with Brampton. BRAMALEA was an idyllic community made up primarily of Brits, European, and African-Canadians. Then Justin’s Dad (Pierre) opened the floodgates of immigration in the ‘70’s to ensure his re-election while transforming Canada into a Socialist Society (Socialized “Free” Health Care paid for by mammoth taxes on the middle class) while promoting “Multiculturalism” as the new Canadian Utopia. In his later years, while close to death, Pierre declared that “Multiculturalism DOESN’T WORK!” And, guess what? Neither does “Free” Healthcare!” As each culture swelled, they felt as though they didn’t need to assimilate. When I return to Canada/Brampton to visit family, I’m disgusted! The Indian residents (who Now comprise about 90% of BRAMLADESH’s population) do NOT look after their housing/property. The older/original neighborhoods where I grew up (well-cared for homes with manicured lawns, lush green-belts with pathways connecting neighborhoods and parks) now borders on slum-like conditions. It’s sad and downright depressing when I visit. All of my high school friends have fled the dilapidated area, and no wonder! Canada’s lax immigration laws, failed “Multiculturalism” and Socialist welfare system have all destroyed Canadian culture AND their middle class (strangled by immense taxation). I was fortunate to have grown up in the BRAMALEA of old, but I am so blessed to have escaped when I did! ??
