All people in videos saying Labour shortage, manpower need in Canada. Last 1 year more i am trying to get job offer but no response. This required condition is very hardest thing ever. Totally bull shit condition.

I have to apply you need job to move there and Canada is not good job to outside people

Racism does exist everywhere.\nIn Canada, America, Germany, France, Hong Kong, etc. You can fill in every country.\nYou can make hundred times more documentations about it without any change.\nAnd you can't say people to have no racism and wonder why it does not work. The more you talk about the less it will work.

While racism is real, there are certain people from some religious dicatorships in Canada spying on the free people of this country and making people uncomfortable too. there are those who want to push their beliefs on all Canadians and there has to be a balance in terms of acceptance and inclusiveness. I find many times people also play the race or discrimination card to push their beliefs and ways of life on others while I have heard them for example swear at and judge Canadians for example who don't cover up their hair or wear mini skirts......that is also discrimination and judgement and is also 100% wrong, even though they may be doing it quietly or in their own language. There is sometimes (besides obvious cases of racism of course) that there are 2 sides to the story! People that come to Canada also need to respect its values of respect for all, not just ask for it for themselves. While a lot of wonderful people come here and have the utmost respect for Canada that is NOT the case with those pushing their beliefs and particularly religious views on the rest of Canadians making them feel like outsiders I have heard many stories about.

When you have Immigration policies such as Trudeau's. People get fed up , and who do you think they will take it out on ? Trudeaus building a bomb in Canada.

My mother's background is ambiguous based on looks. She's actually English and Irish but she has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes and naturally tanned skin. It's very unusual for someone of British ancestry, but family photo's of Mum's family show the same colouring back to her great-great-grandfather. In Britain, as a blonde, blue-eyed daughter, I've watched my whole life as people treated her differently to other relatives. She's quiet, polite and her father was a police chief inspector, she strictly obeys the law. I've overheard people refer to her as a 'paki' and all sorts of derogatory things. When we went to the US, it wasn't better. They were rude to her until she spoke and then reacted with shock. Some admitted they thought she was Mexican. \nSo, is it any easier for her in Canada? When she visits me here, she is mistaken for an aboriginal. It isn't any easier for her here. And pettiness of it all. When they hear her accent, suddenly it's like she's their best friend. \nThe sad/funny thing is, often I can't find customer service more than half the time I'm out. When I'm with my mother, there is ALWAYS someone around to ask for help.

I have been called Cracker and white boy numerous times in Canada for absolutely no reason. With white people only being about 12% of the world's population, maybe white people are saying these things because they're being oppressed by non-whites. White people get categorized as slave owners and racists no matter who they are by non-whites. Why should they act any different, people are led by example.

When I see videos about this in U.S.A, people say in the comments that in Canada this don't happen.\nIs this something new to deal with, or depend the place of the country?

As a visitor of Canada I have heard negative remarks of Native people.

But also there is a similarly racism in the Muslim Community in Canada , against people of African origin

I think subtle racism is actually a very practical type of stereotyping and it didn't just got created out of air, there is a big chunk of that specific race (be it any race according to the stereotype) who actually prove the stereotype to be right. I am from india, living in Canada and if some house owner would prefer a white guy over me to rent their house, I would not blame him since a lot of people don't like the smell of spices that we cook all the time.\n\nAs far as stereotyping is sublet and not rude or hurting, I don't think it's actually so much of racism rather then preference.\n\nI just want to make it clear though that I do support racism, whatever is happening in US and a lot of other countries which is violent is a very horrible thing. Specially black people being racially profiled everywhere including malls and by the police themselves.

How about they do their next video on how people from Canada are treaded by the immigrants or how they are treated when visiting other counties. This was loaded to make people look bad, or perhaps the amount of kids banged out by the immigrants and the strain on social services. I learned something new today from watching this documentary, the fact that they actually named a town & a park Africville in the great white north. Some people are naive while others are not when it comes to racism. The very fact of the world has been conquered & dominated with the white supremacy mentality leave very little to be surprise that Canada had slaves. I think from what I've come to understands is that having slavery for 250 yrs most white Canadians will pretend to not be racist, but it's like those two kids in your class the one who had the paper thrown at him & the one who did it doesn't act like he did anything & the rest are just as bad because they saw who did it but are complicit by not saying anything. No one wants to be the rat, but at the same time they all know why the one kid that threw the paper did it & the one that had it done to them knows exactly why.

Nothing but positive comments on Canada. When you're welcomed in a country you're treated like you are. Black people aren't wanted or welcomed in the USA but believe they are. WAKE UP!

Canada has given asylum to lots of people fleeing countries in the midst of civil wars, those who face political persecution where it threatens their life or liberty. Coming from a place that's just really violent is not quite the same, I mean some places in the US are really violent e.g. Chicago, you wouldn't expect Canada to give asylum to US citizens on this basis.

I suggest going back too his country of origin and vote for politician's that will reform his government. It's crazy people from poorer countries keep electing socialist governments. While they inevitably must leave to Western countries. Mexico, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina. They should all be 1st world countries. Go back and vote right. Not left. I wonder what would happen if all Canadians moved to Mexico and all Mexicans moved to Canada. Which country would be better off. It is not the land that defines a country, it is the people. Look in the mirror. Maybe a few less siesta's and more 10 hour work days?

It is really disheartening to see all this. I had a dream of coming to canada for study when I was young but due to lack of money I failed to come. After that I always wanted to try find a job from outside canada I failed. I am in a situation that I see no way to come to canada . I always wanted to to come work hard make money and start a good life, moreover i had plans to setup my business there with that money and give others the job. And these scammers have it so easy way out . Seems like honesty has no place left. At least give them harsh punishments that will make genuine people feel better.

As a permanent resident based on merit who worked two years to get it, I feel like my work was worthless because people who simply bought their citizenship and can’t even speak English or have any basic merits to qualify for PR are all too common in Canada. The Canadian skilled migration is a scam, skilled workers are better off going somewhere they will actually be valued.

I went to canada with my family when i was 6 years old i thought it was so beautiful the native americans treated us with kindness my dad bought me some moccisens there. A chinese immagrant restaurant owner was nice to us the white people many of them wrent very nice this was in 1969 in the summer but i loved the wilderness and wanted to go back and see the indians. I was a dreamer. Unfortenately and through my own fault after i got out of the military honerably discharged . I got a dui again it was my stupidity but i payed my fine did my jail time and got educated about not drinking and driving. It is not a felony i the US but it is in Canada so canada gets ahold of my driving records maybe they hacked in. And said i could not go into canada. I noticed they let george w. Busch in though oh well i dont think canada even pretends fainess under the law . Any way they are now letting elligals into canada and giving them a hotel room . The duplicity is absurd personally i no longer want to go to canada for anything i think the wall should be put on the northern border. All the people who are speaking awful about their back home, can’t be trusted. If they have no feelings or respect for their own country which gave them shelter, food and every possible facility then how much loyal they can be to be a new country. The thing is, Mexico is not in conflict for its people to seek asylum somewhere else. It is not good to just jump ship to any country and fight whoever so that you stay there. You struggled. You spent so much money on lawyers, when immigration laws don't approve of anyone going into US illegally and then file asylum.
