It angers me what this man has done to his family. How do you claim asylum in a country when fleeing from a country you came to illegally? Immigration laws are very important and protect citizens of a country in many ways. The US welcomes immigrants with open arms when they come here legally. These individuals want to challenge our rights to protect our people, our country. This family may be no threat to our country but if laws are not followed it opens the way for the wrong people to enter. I’m so tired of this manipulation. This man is responsible for the pain his children are going through.. not the countries standing by their laws to protect citizens and legal immigrants. If you know something is wrong and you do it anyway how do you then blame someone else for the consequence? Aside from this.. when do people start taking a stand and making positive change in their own Home Countries? So many of these people support corrupt leaders that promise to give them all their desires and then when things fall apart they want to flee. As someone who is currently dealing with immigration Canada my only advice to anyone wanting to come to Canada is don't... especially if you're planning on doing it illegally and definitely don't bring your kids here illegally.. I was brought here as a kid and now have to deal with things I never planned for ... The laws are extremely strict and the chances of getting approved are low

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

As someone who is more liberal minded, I don't agree with illegal immigration (I'm also pretty fiscally conservative). I'm open to the idea of healthcare for all, I'm open to legalized pot (even though I hate pot), I don't agree with most wars, and I don't give a rats ass who someone marries or who makes your cake. But all those things are for CITIZENS. That CITIZENS should have. Not someone who comes here just because they think everything is free, don't need to learn English and probably not pay taxes. This is supporting something illegal. I wish democrats could stick up for this country, rather than certain demographics. I believe we would never lose again if they could do that. This is the reason healthcare for all cannot be talked about right now. We have people thinking they can come here and do nothing with how things are now. Imagine if healthcare was free.

So I'm from a town in Ireland with a small hotel, a few years ago the government bought it and moved immigrants in overnight (literally in the middle of the night). It is still run like a hotel with cleaning services and restaurant but the occupants also receive government income. (meanwhile we are seeing an increase in local homelessness every year) Anyways I recently heard a story from someone who works for social services who collected a woman and her few kids from the hotel to drive them down the road to the new four bedroom house they were being given. When they arrived at the house the woman asked what days the cleaner would be over, the person driving said that she wouldn't have a cleaner anymore this was her house so she would be responsible for minding it. The woman put her kids back in the car and demanded they take her straight back to the hotel. So yeah, hotels may not be the greatest immigration solution.

I've been followed in stores & I'm white. The video is somewhat misleading. They want people to think whites can't be discriminated against. Sometimes stores just think you might steal, regardless of race. I worked at Food City & one of the managers accused me of stealing a drink I brought with me when I got there. I had just gotten to work & had my drink with me. I've also been mistaken by cops for someone else. And I'm a white man. Don't tell me only non-whites can be discriminated against! It sounds nice to say “Everyone has a human right to go where they want.” It isn’t so simple. If people come illegally, they affect everyone in the new country and all the people coming legally. If you detain them together with their family, you are incarcerating children, if you take the parents only you break up families. If you send them back with no detention and no appeals, you miss cases with legitimate grounds to have an exception.
