Why are you Europeans allowing this to happen to your own countries? I'm American and even this saddens me\n\n\n\nNote: I do not hate Muslims or Islam. I have Muslims friends, but I think this Sharia Law in non-Islamic countries is retarded. People should live however they want and follow whatever religion they want, not forced to.

Even if they do try to do it the legal way sometimes they are not granted with any type of visa or green card. The government can deny their application for many reasons. So they end up crossing the border illegally. As well it is cheaper to cross the border than to apply for a visa or some sort of legal document. Many of these “lawbreakers” you suggest to be in jail have tired to do everything the legal way but it didn’t work out. Immigrants risk their lives and their love ones to have a better life, to be able to work to be able to have things that it’s impossible to have in their country. They are innocent people with dreams and hopes I don’t know why ya are so quick to judge. Try to put yourself in their place, and try to be open minded and listen.

It's not enough to live in a shit-hole country with violence. To be considered a refugee, that violence must be targeting YOU and your family SPECIFICALLY. It's not enough to just live among it. If your country sucks, it's your duty as a citizen to fight and work to end that unpleasantness. El Salvador's government does not persecute its people—it's just incompetent.

With the internet now anyone can do research about a place before you go. I have traveled and lived in other countries and I always research before I go. This guy didn’t follow the process also. He just jumped to the conclusion that he was going to be deported. And then when you break the rules that will hurt your case and not help it

I live in Houston Texas. People often say that Mexicans take jobs that no one else will do. That may have been true at some point but now that we are overwhelmed by the illegal immigrants every business only hires Mexicans that speak perfect Spanish and not so perfect English. So blacks, whites and other cultures are stuck! If I wanted to live in Mexico I would move there and learn their language why do they refuse to learn ours? I love every Mexican that I have met. I also love water but I do not want to be dropped into the middle of the ocean. There are at least 350 languages spoken in America why are we bending over backwards 2 make our country bilingual to Spanish and not all the other languages?

How come this guy want to apply for papers in Canada and he did not do it in the USA? For so many years that he lived in USA. What happens is that as so many illegals in USA was very easy to work and not pay taxes as the rest of the people, they thought they will have it that way for the rest of their lives and now they are paying the price for their abuse to that great country!

it amazes me how little human beings can care about each other. it breaks my heart to see a man who wants to provide for his family be turned away and thought of as a criminal because he escaped a country riddled with murder. documented or not they deserve better. most undocumented immigrants don’t come here to commit crimes or steal your jobs, they come here for refuge. undocumented immigrants don’t even qualify for welfare programs and continue to pay taxes. the alternative, legal immigration, can take up to 15-30 years of them living in constant fear of death. they are humans and we should treat them as such

People who can't speak the national language shouldn't be moving to another country especially not illegally. I can't feel sorry for this guy. I mean sure he's probably had a rough time but having kids and then trying to illegally immigrate just doesn't seem like the right way to try to live life especially not to raise a child in. \n\nIf you want to better yourself and your family learn the language and properly apply for a visa and come work here and contribute. Show Canada that your a worthy addition and eventually you can legally immigrate here. Trying to sneak in and avoid being deported isn't the way to go and it will never help your family in the long run.

Ok. This guy had at least $15,000 to waste on lawyers but he left his home country to move where it is more expensive to live. Moron. He could have lived like a king on that much wherever he came from. Fix your own countries if you don't like them. Start a resistance movement and ask a foreign power to help. We were not born with any clothes or phones or guns or any freaking borders. Yet I read these comments and watch in shear amazement at how everyday people pickup the mantle of these god awful politicians. They argue how these people or that people should be sent back a few hundred miles this way or that way. Truth is, we are unwelcome immigrants in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Venezuela, Libya, and a whole host of countries around the world. Killing people to save them. Yet, after our immigration destroys their countries. We have the nerve to tell them they are not welcome in ours. Truth is the world is getting tired of people that classify themselves as white people thinking they have some god given right to tell people when, where, and how to live. People that classify themselves as white are beginning to be seen as a virus of destruction that infects this once peaceful planet. You know what happens to viruses. They run their course and then are DESTROYED.

Also the United States is responsible for a lot of things that go on in that country. It seems that our government can’t stop meddling where it doesn’t belong. Infecting their people with stds , only to study them . That gang responsible for all the violence...courtesy of the United States. A lot of Americans retire to Latin America, due to the high cost of living here. So it’s fair to say that there is a problem on both sides of the border.

I was born in Seattle and left to Canada (married) when I was in early 20's!  This then was a good change for me as Vancouver was a great city compared to Seattle, moved right downtown and had a blast so for a young person (then) was great.  Met some great people from all over the world and had health care, medical/Dental etc.... I worked in the greater Vancouver area for 8 years and it was tough, very strict, and did not help that I was from the states, white bread Canadian seemed a bit jealous that I was there, sometimes not very friendly.  The Europeans I met were actually better to deal with and I got along quite well with them.  The cost of living was about the same as in Seattle.  After about 8 years being in Canada and working hard I saw America booming and the Canadian dollar was as low as $.62 cents (in late 90's) so I took my craft from Vancouver and brought it to the US just across the border, I became much happier working in the States, I took a little bit of bs but not bad from some that I had a Canadian accent (go figure when I moved up there I had a twang) I really never left the united states I will always be American and I have been still working in the US for over 20 years and deal with mainly Americans on a daily basis from all over the State of Washington.  Depending on where you grow up or end up you should never see a border Seattle and Vancouver have more in common than Vancouver / Calgary in fact most Canadians don't care much for the other provinces.  After 30 years of being part of both countries, I can say that people are people both have great offerings and if you took the best of Canada and America to combine then we would all prosper, there is so much both can learn from each other.  Bottom line:I take the best of both worlds and what they have to offer, yes, I have found less expensive goods in Canada than what they cost in the states.  I have seen it from both eyes, and if you cant be open culturally then stay away.

When you live in a foreign country you might as well live like them not like how your religion wants you to live or don’t go go there seeking refuge that is utter disgusting.

I’m always scared to get accused of shoplifting, not because I’m black but just because I take ages to look at 1 article. I can stay more then 1 hour in the store. I usually do every aisle even the ones that don’t concern me like the baby section. I just like to see what is new, what is available. \nI live in a country where shoplifting is not really an issue, so I’m used to doing what I want in the shops. I went on holiday in the US and completely forgot that I was not home. I went to target and didn’t take a basket as I was suppose to only buy 1 thing. When I picked up more then 5 articles I put a few in my pocket. It’s only when I got to the cashier that I was like “ I’m crazy this is not my country “. Good thing nothing happened. \nAlso I’m a day dreamer so I always look suspicious in shops.

Those terrorist have nothing to do with Islam, they are claiming that they are muslims but they are actually not.\n\nBut, what I am surprised about is that those muslims living in Canada that is shown on this videos are very religious and they are a tiny percentage of all muslim population in Canada, In fact, a study survey in France says that before the Ban of Burqa, of 4 million muslim women living in France only 368 muslim women actually wore it, many muslim westerns dont even wear the Hijab except when they are praying. Even of Burqa was banned, this will never reduce the statistics of terrorism.

I am a TPS holder from el salvador for about 20 years with 3 kids born in Tennessee. and that program will end in September 2019, , i have to go back to my country and there is nothing i can do to stay in this country usa that have gave me everything what i have ; a beautiful family and a house that i am selling for 300,000 a nice car Toyota camry selling for 7000, a Nissan Frontier selling for 8000, a HVAC technical diploma and a good hvac job(60,000a year) but i just woke up and i found out that this dream already ends, ,,,,,,,,,,,, but i am not crying feeling like a Donald Trump victim.........guest what? I live in Canada and I can tell you a lot of people here don't like it. Would you like it to happen in your home country? Millions of people from different cultures come in and change the culture of your country? We will have no white majority countries soon. You will always be able to go back and experience your culture. It is only western countries that are expected to dilute their land.

Trump just cancelled the TPS for el Salvadorians and Hondurans. These countries are extremely corrupt and beyond violent. I don't know how anybody can live in those countries. These country governments need to fight corruption and fire their police and fight crime.

I'm an immigrant and I wish I didn't leave my homeland and immigrated to North America! I'm not saying that in a bad way, but we immigrants suffer a lot when we leave our original countries to live and work abroad! I spent the last 25 years of my life unhappy, alone, lonely and without family! When I talk to my family back home, most of them are living happily while I'm suffering here! You need to be political asylum seeker, to get qualified, jail time, you need to be well known, articles, proves. Laws are laws you seek asylum in the first safe landing not your choice of wherever whenever. Why then can I not leave Canada and go live in another country undocumented then when I fear deportation just go to another country? Because it's illegal yeah. The issue is that the intending migrants and the general public are ignorant as to asylum law. The public think of asylum as some far reaching, grandiose humanitarian gesture- when the truth is that asylum laws provide an EXTREMELY LIMITED basis of relief. \n\nMerely coming from a dangerous country is NOT enough to win asylum, in the U.S. or Canada. A person must prove they are specifically persecuted, by the GOVERNMENT, because of some specific basis. A Central American claiming Central America is full of gangs and poverty, while true, is NOT a basis for asylum. This is why it's my personal belief that the thousands of Haitians making a run for the Canadian border have an almost zero chance of receiving asylum- ESPECIALLY after NOT living in Haiti for many years. \n\nIn spite of this, migrants still make these claims because it forces the country to go through a time consuming legal process, and is a way to buy time and prevent their deportation. Or perhaps allow them time to find a local job, continue their education, or have a child born in the country and then make a humanitarian argument to allow them to stay, even after losing their asylum case. \n\nThe truth is, unless a country holds asylum seekers in detention for the entirety of the process, it's a given that failed asylum seekers will NOT return to their country of origin, and will simply go underground.

So I'm in a dilemma of whether I should move down to Florida and live with my American girlfriend, or stay up here and support her moving up here in Canada. My main issue is health care. I just hear many people have bad service and poor treatment with insurance down there, but it all depends what insurance your applying with. People are fairly nice, but there are also some douche bags as well so I'm not surprised. With my overall budget, I could likely stay down there for about a few months or so. Here in Canada, taxes are a little higher, but it's worth it (Some idiot said our taxes are lower), health care is paid for, winters are cold but anyone can survive through it. Some say Canada is a socialist (which is Not -_-). Liberal party is ruining Canada as it is in a way. But again, it's better Justin than Trump. (Betting for Scheer). Idk, politics is bad in both countries I say. Idk, I'm likely missing some things here. Should I move down with my girlfriend, or stay up and support her moving up here?

I pray God give him and his family peace and they can stay in Canada. I am against illegal immigration but i understand why they risk leaving their country. The government let the criminals rule and the law abiding people live in fear
