1800 emails take 2 years to go through like wtf

Wow and people like me, who have been dating and am engaged to a Canadian for 12 years,has to count every single day I'm in the country in the hopes of being able to get the 2 years I need to even apply.

I grew up in BRAMALEA, now incorporated with Brampton. BRAMALEA was an idyllic community made up primarily of Brits, European, and African-Canadians. Then Justin’s Dad (Pierre) opened the floodgates of immigration in the ‘70’s to ensure his re-election while transforming Canada into a Socialist Society (Socialized “Free” Health Care paid for by mammoth taxes on the middle class) while promoting “Multiculturalism” as the new Canadian Utopia. In his later years, while close to death, Pierre declared that “Multiculturalism DOESN’T WORK!” And, guess what? Neither does “Free” Healthcare!” As each culture swelled, they felt as though they didn’t need to assimilate. When I return to Canada/Brampton to visit family, I’m disgusted! The Indian residents (who Now comprise about 90% of BRAMLADESH’s population) do NOT look after their housing/property. The older/original neighborhoods where I grew up (well-cared for homes with manicured lawns, lush green-belts with pathways connecting neighborhoods and parks) now borders on slum-like conditions. It’s sad and downright depressing when I visit. All of my high school friends have fled the dilapidated area, and no wonder! Canada’s lax immigration laws, failed “Multiculturalism” and Socialist welfare system have all destroyed Canadian culture AND their middle class (strangled by immense taxation). I was fortunate to have grown up in the BRAMALEA of old, but I am so blessed to have escaped when I did! ??

By these comments, Canadians hate immigrants even more than American white supremacists. This man is scared for himself and his family. His case is just ignorance. He doesn’t know the proper ways to go about it. Him getting a lawyer and what not has showed he’s a bit smarter than many immigrants seeking asylum but most cases people don’t know the proper way to migrate out of their countries. They just know that there are better and safer opportunities elsewhere. As for everyone whining about why he doesn’t speak English, not EVERYONE CAN LEARN AT THE SAME PACE. There’s people that live in other countries for years and only know enough to get around and then theres people that just pick up on languages In less than a year. The language doesn’t matter. I’m sure he knows enough to communicate with people. I’m more surprised at the amount of people that law this and law that. Yes there are laws that should be followed but do people even consider morality? I hope none of you alls countries go to war or are over taken and you have to try to seek asylum in another country because I highly doubt you all would escape the ‘proper’ way. Tried to bring my Central American Wife of 15 years, my 9 year old daughter, and my 20 year old stepdaughter {university scholarship} to Canada. Tried for 3 years when I went back to Canada to give us a better future. Now back in Central America with my family. Poor, but together. Too bad they were from a decent country and not a shithole so they could claim refugee status. Or Muslim.

why not just make your stay here legal? stop hiding, pay taxes, gain rights, live in a house and get a job. if youve been hiding in a church for 15 years. youre not doing your family any favors. just do what it takes to become legal. i know its harder said then done these days but its gotta be better then hiding in a church basement for 15 years. plus you need rights, you need to be able to call the police when theres an emergency with out fear of deportation. come on! one time i hit an illegal with my car. destroyed the back end. i felt so bad! i have great insurance and wanted to take care of their car, and make sure they got checked out at a hospital but they refused cause they didnt want to get in trouble. their car never got fixed.... even though I wanted to fix it! i mean come on people supporting illegal imagrants are puting them in danger. they need to be given a path to legal citizenship and stopped from entering with out doing so.

I don’t want to criticize Justin but I request him to check if all Canadians I mean who already immigrated and settled here have jobs or no ? I immigrated here 4 yrs back from India and worked in all hard sectors to just pay my bills and this year I broke my body in work injury !!! I don’t know why there is such a lack of people in work force that there is work overload leading to injury! Justin plz help Canadians who already present here first . Thank you..

Hey, it sucks but it sucked for us too, who did it legally...it took 3 years and a lot of money, and a lot of headaches and paperwork..but we are here legally..

One reason his claim failed was because you cannot claim asylum once you have already entered another country prior. He spent years illegally in the US then tried to claim asylum here in Canada. That has no legal merit for asylum.

I do have a few issues... if it's a multicultural country then come on Canada, letting in more of one race over another is unfair and unwanted. I can live anywhere as long as I get paid well. India is a good place if you make top money & its full of investment opportunities. I love Mumbai and I spent a lot of time there every year or two.

its not just a paradise in canada. it's a dangerous game too. crime has risen 25% up and so does unemployment. GTA isn't so ready to deal with sudden influx of newcomers. If you look at the statistics on ont.gov.ca its 100k every year, now it's 250k a year in Ontario. it's a open ground for theft, robberies, frauds, pollution, spreading bacteria and virus and bugs from another country, and more.

So I'm from a town in Ireland with a small hotel, a few years ago the government bought it and moved immigrants in overnight (literally in the middle of the night). It is still run like a hotel with cleaning services and restaurant but the occupants also receive government income. (meanwhile we are seeing an increase in local homelessness every year) Anyways I recently heard a story from someone who works for social services who collected a woman and her few kids from the hotel to drive them down the road to the new four bedroom house they were being given. When they arrived at the house the woman asked what days the cleaner would be over, the person driving said that she wouldn't have a cleaner anymore this was her house so she would be responsible for minding it. The woman put her kids back in the car and demanded they take her straight back to the hotel. So yeah, hotels may not be the greatest immigration solution.
