For Islam, 9/11 was the best advert it could have had. Yet, Islam and Muslims had nothing to do with 9/11. \n\nRather than wasting its resources on Trumpgate, the FBI ought to be looking to incriminate Americans who masterminded the 9/11 to reshape the world. The plot went terribly wrong. Not only the ensuing wars (that we are fighting to this day) bankrupted America but we also lost our credibility as a beacon of hope. Before 9/11, our national debt was a meagre $2T. Today, it stands at a whopping $22T!! Nearly 50% of that is the result of cost of wars. It is time we ought to do our own soul-searching rather than make Islam a scapegoat of our problems for religions have always conquered civilizations from the dawn of human history. \n\nNearly 2000 years ago, Europe was largely pagan. And within a couple of centuries, it predominantly became a Christian continent even though Christianity at first was met with a lot of suspicion and mistrust among the pagans. Islam is now at a similar crossroad in the Western hemisphere. Should Isam replace Christianity in the West over the next couple of centuries (and it seems likely that it will), it would only mark the natural evolution of human culture and civilization. And does it matter what religion people follow in Europe or America? No. The French will still be French whether they worship God in a mosque or church. And ditto for the Brits, Germans, Italians, and others. But, the French will always play the most entertaining le foot -- Nous sommes les champions du monde! Its part of their damage control phase.\nBut they will still continue to do what they are supposed to do, escalation of demands, coming together to get rid of people of threat to them, crying victimhood and playing the race card, until they have established sharia law in every nation. If you think sharia laws is only meant for them, you are so wrong. They can legitimately get rid of us simply by applying their laws. Its a very very very big Trojan horse. Every country that receives these immigrants experience the same set of problems, and it always end with them trying to establish sharia law. Ask yourself this, they all come from different countries, they all end up in different countries and yet they all say the same thing, at almost the same time? Its a worldwide movement. Lebanon also used to accept refugees. Why don't all the nations like US and Canada try to help fix what is happening from the places these people are fleeing, especially if they are murder capitals? They can recruit these migrants to form coalitions to rebuild their nation. What if they are really are going to suffer there, without outside intervention, by being recruited, instead, into gangs or be killed or raped? If we send troops to the middle east for our vested interest, then don't we also have at least some vested interest to send troops in Honduras and El Salvador? We can prevent the entire population from migrating, prevent people from being exploited and hurt while traveling or living illegally and the taxpayers and citizens won't have to pay for court costs, education, healthcare and welfare. There are plenty of things our nation can do to uplift our own destitute and out of luck an alone citizens...with that money. With the money now saved, it can be diverted to cover the costs of our troops, counselors, educators in those nations. Then it is possible and foreseeable to reunite all the undocumented immigrants back to their now safer home countries. I understand why they flee and also understand why the US and Canada cannot absorb these large population of people, and they have the right to determine who is invited in, so....why can't there be more permanent solutions? I feel, certain pathetic political groups are playing these migrants, the law-abiding citizens and others in their game of chess. Lives are not pawns for chess. Is there a hidden path for drugs, money, prostitution that is being quietly supported? Are certain businesses lobbying in the millions and billions to get cheap labor? Is that why this problem is not finally being solved but kept alive for so many years? There are basic solutions that have not been tried in earnest. You cannot just bring everyone in and you cannot just turn your face to the problems these undocumented people face... I feel like much is not being discussed about this situation....Something else is going on that they are not covering...

I don't know what Sharia Law/ Islam is all about to hate it that much. We have Muslims in our country. At least around 20% of the population. Maybe more than Australia... but there are as many different interpretation of Islam and Sharia Law, as the Bible and Christian denominations. What you probably have is the Radical Extremist type.... The type that doesn't accept differences in culture and the population they are in. They are the minority who wants to have the majority rule... We also have problems with Radical Islam and majority of the Muslim population in my country does not accept them that much. There are certainly discrimination against Muslim, but not as much as most western countries does. My advise is to not to generalize Muslims as one type of people. There are people in that community that does not believe in extremist interpretation of the law. Second, deport or watch radical extremist as they are dangerous to any multicultural society, like the white supremacist and Neo- Nazis in the US. Some of them are citizens. Deporting your own citizen to a different country is far-fetched. Third, accept them as part of a sub- culture, having their own ways within their group, yet under the laws of the nation they are living. The way they dress, polygamy, and women's rights are just some issues that Westerners usually cringe about. But there are other religions who practice these as well. Lastly, stop hating each other because your hate will empower extremism. \nReligion is either you are born with it until you are old/ mature enough to choose or an independent choice.

Canada is a newborn baby. She has never faced tragedies like India. No great famine, no slavery, no serious war, never attacked or invaded . I'm Lithuanian and I lived in UK. I left because of racism. It's nasty when it is targeted at you but I get it. In London I was doing parking enforcement and all parking officers knew that you have to be very cautious with people of certain nationalities. I was racially profiling myself. It is nasty but that is the reality - some people are more dangerous than others. And it hurts a lot when you are trying to be a good human and being racially profiled yourself.

Just because Canada is a friendly, peace-loving nation doesn't mean were going to let you spill unfettered into our country. We have immigration laws---STRICT ones. We don't owe anyone allowing them to simply flood into our country. Get a clue.

The most foolish thing people do is to compare INR to Canadian Dollar when they talk about their wages and expenses. People who live in India are not earning in dollars so it makes no sense to talk about how the min wage for a week here is equivalent to a person's monthly income in India. The cost of living is very proportional. At minimum wage here you can only access necessities and not luxuries or your wants, just like any other nation. The perks of being here are not economical but rather the law and order, safety, quality of education and health care.
