I don't hate anyone, especially because of religious beliefs. But when you hear the stories of friends that live in Canada, and the rights that are given to them just to become citizens that is disgusting. If you want to become a citizen of any country, you must abide by the rules of that country and not the other way around.

I'm a Canadian and personally I don't care what religion anyone is that lives here but I don't like when people try to enforce beliefs and religions onto others. Just believe what you want to.

Muslim lady speaks outside of her house and discusses issues we have with the religion, because of this she fears for her safety from her own community. It shows the deep problems we have with the western values and the Muslim community, yet here we have people tip toeing around the issue saying we have no problem, its religion and beliefs and peace and love and we should just accept all Muslim communities even tho this lady is telling you the problems right in front of your faces. There is so many videos you can find showing that Muslim community neighbourhoods do not want non-Muslim's in there community and they want Sharia law and they are not tolerant to outsiders and anyone that thinks different to them, even those from within there own community. 2 good examples are the town Dearborn, Michigan and Luton Town, UK of just how lack of tolerance for non-Muslim people in Muslim majority communities they have.

If anyone wears a niqab or burqa they are not communicating openly. \nWesterners rely on seeing the full facial expression when talking to someone. When only the eyes are exposed it comes over as sinister, this person must be hiding something. \nIt is no secret that if you wanted a job in a bank in years past, you needed to ensure you did not have a beard. \nIn fact most banks around the world insist nowadays on their customers removing helmets and balaclavas if you go within their doors,, because of identification. They want to know who they are dealing with: is this person hiding something, are they a crim, are they dishonest ?

@5.33 that woman interviewee in hijab (veil) is literally telling the unveiled interviewer that she (the interviewer) by not wearing the hijab is indicating that she is 'available' to anyone! Despicable attitude, to say the least. And the interviewer is accepting the slur with a straight face!

No matter what race, age, or gender, you will look suspicious aimlessly walking around a retail store for 20-30min without asking for help by anyone. In my experience in retail, 80%+ of shoplifters will walk around the store for 20-30min, look at all different products throughout the isles, will not ask for help, and will leave without purchasing anything. If you do this in a retail store, it will look suspicious. This is what we are trained to look for.

I live in Northern Ontario, and I have never actually been to thr USA, but I know someone who moved to Milwaukee and moved back to Canada because he couldn't handle certain mentalities people had. He said it definitely wasn't everyone, but the whole gun thing freaked him out. He knew a lot of people who carried guns around regularily, and so he always felt he needed to censor himself so he didn't want to offend or make anyone angry, because of thr guns. As a multi generational Canadian, I don't really care whether they cover their face or not. That's their choice. During my life I've seen all these different forms of conservative dress from catholic nuns, to Hutterites to Mennonites and these people are just part of the mix. What this is designed to do is to create a barrier between themselves and the larger society which is fine. I would never interact with one of these woman ever because the thin flimsy barrier makes it clear that she is not interested in talking to anyone for any reason and again this is fine. If she was with a man I would talk only with the man and completely ignore her and if she was with a male child I would talk to the male child, not to her. I don't normally chat with women who are strangers other than now and then in a supermarket line or whatever. This face thingy frees me from the need of chitchat small talk and I'm good with that. In any case we would have absolutely nothing in common.

I don't mean to be rude but how is burqa a choice? Why would anyone want to dress up in a black robe covering from head to toe, except eyes and sometimes eyes too? I know it's religious thing but how can one make it a personal choice to wear it? That too women? It's ok for men, they only have so many colours in their attire to choose, but women? Seriously? I think burqa should be for Muslim men who are ok with wearing the same colour everyday (in general). I like hijab, the head scarf, it comes in so many colours and it's so pretty, hijab makes you beautiful. Not burqa or niqab.

People need to educate themselves rather than expect the media to tell the truth about Islam. If anyone is wondering about how violence became associated with Islam they need only to look at the origins and the early spread of Islam--it's success was dependent on violence and fear. If more westerners knew the truth about Islam they would reject it more vehemently. If more Muslims started thinking rationally about their belief system they would turn away from Islam. There was a good reason for the Crusades and Christian-predominate cultures shouldn't feel ashamed at this history. Perhaps we need a new Crusade.

for security and safety they should make it mandatory so that every person can be identified. suppose someone wearing a mask or someone who covers there identity wants to do some evil like stab or robbery or steal etc... now they can go in a store and take what they want or stab anyone etc.... its best to implement laws that provides security for people. also its not required for muslims to wear such cloths so why dont just try to obey for purpose of security and safety. i am a hindu and i love canada. why, its because we have an allstar groups of people that try to live in peace. we should keep this way of thought. also making some comprimises like this will go a long way for muslims with other communities as well. they should try to look at the fact that canada is not an islamic country.
