(from the US) It's refreshing to hear a coherent speech from a real leader.

So refreshing listening to a head of state that sounds, speaks and acts like an adult and puts the interest of his country first. Canada ?? do what you have to. The idiot is stubborn and incorrigible and his cult members are no different. The indoctrination runs deep. Maybe lost jobs, no power/fuel, hunger pains, sticker shocker and depleted 401k accounts will register. Too bad more of us did not vote for common sense.\n\nOnly an idiot starts a war with “friends” and bend over for an enemy who’s using him as a tool to only enlarge his empire and weaken America. The executive part of his brain ? is severely compromised. \n\nGod help us all.

How refreshing to listen to an intelligent leader! i only take issue with him calling Trump a smart guy. Trump will never do anything but ridicule and insult Trudeau and Canada no matter what concessions Canada makes. The great thing is that Trump never had any kind of plan except to tariff the hell out of our former allies. Canada is very systematic about their tariffs against US. They are using a scalpel rather than a sledgehammer. Very smart against very stupid, childish, and undisciplined.

Aha - an adult in the room. That's refreshing! \nWith the slightest inquiry at all, anyone can see the obvious absurdity (the lie) in the premise that this is about drugs crossing the border. \nThis Trump administration really takes us all for fools. \nSorry Canada - Please stand by, many of us are doing our best to turn this sinking ship around.

To all Canadians, as an American, it was so refreshing to see PM Trudeau stand up to the big bully who has some type of bromance with Putin. We feel he has something he’s holding over ?’s head. We also feel our election was rigged by muskrat. We live in a Blue state, Illinois, and we will suffer some things the ? felon we withhold from us. I don’t care. We’d rather be in a blue state no matter what. Please pray for us and all Americans who despise this man. Thank you.

Thank you Canada......how refreshing to hear Truth and Clear speaking to help us understand. We are scared here in the US - it seems impossible that this is happening.

Perhaps its time for us to speak up and get the media to listen to employees instead of the ultra-wealthy so we can become efficient and well rested like many European labor forces, and not become the next Japan which seems to ignore employee needs.\n\nLet's give workers 5 or so weeks of actual time off as in Europe to prevent chronic burnout so we can keep up their productivity. Lets stimulate domestic tourism through this actual time off and revitalize rural Canada, creating business opportunities and jobs. Lets let our newly refreshed and productive workforce create world class companies like in Germany. \n\nAll it requires is we treat employees whether local or newcomer with respect, that labor organizations and companies cooperate to prevent burnout, and we have strong labor laws to prevent abuse by bad employers so employees can have enough time for friends, family, and things they like to do. This sounds easy, so lets fix this productivity crisis.\n\nJust my opinion.

Common sense of humanity is so refreshing to hear. Contrast this statement with the mind-numbing lies and propaganda on replay by Blinken, Kirby, Miller, etc. to knowingly extend a genocide, and you realize just how deep the US has nosedived for the sake of Imperialism and colonialism.

It's refreshing seeing Canadians' opinion on a national issue in the comment section. Just acknowledging that they face a problem and how it should be tackled, no aggressive xenophobia, no racism. Imagine what the comments would look like if this is a US problem. Maybe that's why people go there lol. I would love to be around people like this if I were an immigrant.

I have lived in Canada most of my life , and a few years in the US . Have to say I agree with everything these beautiful and smart Nigerian women are saying . Crazy expensive , horrible weather , high taxes etc . And fake politeness drives me crazy ! Thanks WhizQueen and Tinuola for a different perspective its refreshing to hear .

I am a powerful woman raised by my grandparents and my parents in an amazing family. I identify myself as a woman of colour, amazing colour, it embraces me and reflects back my beauty for all around me to see. We were given every opportunity to explore the world where we lived and had passion for reading books, I was encouraged to explore so much of the world and ideologies. Issues of racism existed around me and this was unquestionable, but we had a safe place in a family with committed parents to develop and make our mark on the world. How refreshing to explore the world from a safe place and our parents especially my father encouraged us to mix with people of all cultures, because he firmly believed and I also believe there is only one race, the human race. We look different on the outside but let’s enjoy the fact that God made of one flesh all people. So, impressed with my amazing grandparents and parents... I love myself and I love the world that we live in, even though everyone is not perfect, we are are amazing. I was born in Jamaica, raised in England, UK, and now live in Canada.
