Broken ? Our Liberal government is dysfunctional, honestly , why would anyone expect anything other than broken .

The root cause is that a lot of Canadians are square head, very foolish, not understanding 3rd world country people. They live in a very harsh life and will do anything broken your system.

Everything the Liberals touched over the last 10 years is now broken. Carney is a Century 100 advocate so I can’t see him fixing anything.

Companies those employing more labor should be less taxed. BYE CANADIAN Only. HI TAX for imported goods. * Build thousands condominiums by government and rent them to low income people. Decentralized from major cities. * Lower the TAX like USA * Implement Health insurance like USA. Easy Medical loan who needed. * Women should be encouraged to take babies and raise kids for population growth. Increase child benefits and handsome pregnancy award to give birth. Maternity benefits for 3 years. * Culture is freedom of choice on one hand and it should be practiced in private places or in closed boundaries. There should not be any national culture or majority culture. All should respect each other and don't try to impose anything to others. So no public display or disturbances by culture issues. * Omitting bilingual system of English French. It's very stupidity. In office or workplaces ONLY English Please. Quebec only French. Not both. Government language only English. In private places you speak anything but outside only English. It could be broken English but English. It's important. The solutions are in front of us, government don't want to act

Trudeau was elected with a promise to end fossil fuel tax subsidies but they're over $20+ Billion Canadian taxdollars now (before the $80billion negative externalities), and he obviously broke that promise, probably because the oil and gas industry and their cronies wouldn't let him. Why does an anti-oil and gas politician flip so hard? Money, Blackmail maybe. Epstein - we won't know because our governments don't seem to care to actually investigate it, for legitimate witch hunt reasons perhaps, but there is evidence suggesting that Israeli intelligence is/was running a blackmail operation on powerful people throughout NATO (check out Daryl Coopers MartyrMade podcast on Epstein). we need to force much, much more transparency in government. Its the same throughout NATO. Here in Canada Trudeau was just the 'fall guy' for the various corporate industrial complexes that own our politicians through lobbyists. The oil and gas industrial complex (remember when Trudeau promised to end fossil fuel tax subsidies and instead tax subsidies to this private, for-profit industry with titanic negative externalities, only increased to over $20,000,000,000 (billions of dollars in a nationstate of millions)), the cable industrial complex, the mining, fishing, forestry, and other resource extraction industrial complexes, the military industrial complex (not just in Canada, but all of NATOs military industrial complex has too strong of an influence over our politics). These are all owned by a relatively small group of billionaires. We, the people, are all getting poorer while the rich get richer; our civilization in "The West" is sick, and the corrupt actions of many arms of our corporate industrial complexes and their Oligarch owners are not a symptom, but the foundation of the sickness. Our political parties are owned by them, our prisons, our food industries are the same people that used to own Cigarette companies, its incestuous how small this group is becoming. mean while my sixty year old english wife was refused entry because she hadn't filled out a new online form. She was crossing legal as we have done 10 or so times. The form was filled out at the crossing but the DEI hire supervisor exercised her authority to refuse her entry. I guess she was proving something to her the more experienced guards who got passed over for her. think of that millions of unvetted people crossing the border illegally to take up residence and for some commit crimes but my 60 year old wife who has never done anything criminal anywhere is turned back from attempting to legally cross the border. The problem is neoliberalism and capitalism. The 2 main political parties are hand in glove with neoliberalism and capitalism. They won't fix anything because they are in bed with corporations and the wealthiest. We need strong unions and way stronger rights for workers. The real reasons for low productivity? 2 weeks of vacation, no sick days, low wage economy etc etc. People are stressed, exhausted and they see work no longer pays. Even those on 60k a year. Capitalism has broken society and so has neoliberalism. I hope you don't become a sounding board for Poilievre...that would be very, very sad. Immigration is indeed a problem and the fact is too many politicians are no longer interested in sound public policy. Politics by slogans to match the news cycle and people's hunger for immediate knowledge through social media is what we see and is preyed on by the powerful.

The whole landlord and tenant board in Ontario is in favor of tenants. The board is a liberal scam. Why would investors want any part of this to provide housing for such people? Ontario should follow Alberta and be in favor of the investors that actually provide housing for the unlimited number of immigrants coming in. Anything tied to govt is broken and backwards.

This came up in my feed, I'm in England ??????? and I've always rented as finances have never really been enough to get on the property ladder. I started off in a Private rental and thankfully I'm now in Social housing with an Assured Tenancy so it would be extremely difficult for the housing association to evict me and they have to prove to fault in court and they can't serve me a no fault notice. However rent has always been my number 1 priority bill, when I rented privately I had a Standing order set up with the bank and they drew the money out every month to pay the landlord. I set it so they drew it 3 days before the rent payment date and to account for weekends as banks don't pay out on weekends. In England ??????? rent is classed as paid when it leaves the tenants account not when a landlord receives it, so that's why I set up to leave 3 days early so it never debited late. Now I live in Social housing and it's been fantastic for me and my needs and I'm super lucky as there isn't much social housing about here anymore. I now pay rent by the method requested by the housing association which is direct debit and I pay it on the due date now as direct debits are credited to your rent account on the actual due date even if it's a weekend and then bank draws it out on the Monday. Rent is so important, I can call the housing association if anything is broken or not working and they send someone to fix it without any extra charge to me as it's all in with the rent. You have to pay your rent and if you can't afford it then look for something cheaper and give notice to your landlord.

Can you get anything else for free for FOUR years? This is legal criminal behavior, enabled by a broken system.

Canada needs people for low end/tough jobs, but also high end jobs. The problem is importing a bunch of people into a broken system is not going to do anything but cause problems for the most part. Canada should have invested in the people already here, change the laws and policies, get rid of the red tape and have common sense legislation.

Taxes in Canada are AT LEAST 50% of your income when you have to spend the other half on rent there is NOTHING LEFT FOR FOOD!!!!!!!!!! or fuel or clothing or any maintenance on anything you own! Canada is 100% broken DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I never voted for Trudeau. EVER! And before you think I am a CP supporter, I am not. I am not a Conservative. Yet when he came to power I knew it would be a disaster for this country. In the last 10 years Trudeau's Administration--or considered lack thereof--has just devastated us. His Liberal Government is absolutely disgusting. I wish people would have seen that he was never a good choice. He's enabled life in Canada to just collapse. He has not pushed for anything unless the NDP lit fire under his governments behind in the past few years. Yet they can't do everything. The Liberal Gov't consistently has been utterly lethargic in it's response to any urgency confronting Canadians. They are so out of touch and cynical in my mind it isn't funny. One thing I will agree with that the Conservative Party has said is that everything is broken. As a born and raised Canadian I can tell you it doesn't surprise me that people are leaving this place in droves. If I could, I would too. It is a sorrowful state of affairs. I lament what is happening to my country.

As a Canadian who can trace is lineage to the early Saskatchewan settlers, many of the negatives experienced by immigrants are also experienced by those born here. \n\nIt’s ALWAYS been insanely difficult to find a well paid job here. Unless you know someone inside the organization who can pull you in, you’ll have an uphill battle. In order to make a respectable living, you usually have to travel to the north. \n\nIt’s the land of zero opportunities. \n\nJust think, the weather in southern BC is as good as it gets, and it’s all downhill from there.\n\nCanada is completely unrecognizable after all these years with Trudeau at the helm.\n\nAmericans are far friendlier and more hospitable than Canadians. \n\nYou live like a pauper in Canada, but live like a prince on the equivalent wage in the US.\n\nI drove across Canada two years ago, and was absolutely horrified by the dismal state of the nation. Apart from a few areas in a few provinces, the country is a run down broken dump. \n\nCanadians are passive aggressive, unimaginative, and dull…as a general rule.\n\nCanada isn’t at the forefront of anything…positive.\n\nIf not for my age, I’d happily leave, and wouldn’t miss the place for a second. The US is far more beautiful, and most importantly, WARM!

The one thing not being told is the broken training system. Why are all the poor taxi drivers, truck drivers and list goes on allowed to continue. The government and companies involved have a lot of blame in this too. Is the news you are watching doing anything to find the truth or is that broken too. The information is not being followed up on correctly, training is a paper trail and news is just gossip.

Trudeau says the number of international students has grown at a rate that if far more than Canada can absorb. Like they are growing out of the fricken ground. \n\nThis clown can’t even bring himself to be honest about who is responsible. People actually still support this guy? Really? \n\nNow his creepy minions are going to give them citizenship as a solution, like that somehow fixed the problem. These people are so bent on remaining in power, they will literally do anything. \n\nSo, are they trading votes for citizenship now, right out in the open? This government needs to be removed pronto or we won’t have a country left by the next election. \n\nI guarantee the NDP will support this and the bloc will gleefully support terrible things for everyone but them. \n\nThis country is fking broken badly.

28-year-old Female Sydneysider from Australia here. Apologise in advance for the long post and rambling.\n\n\nNot sure if it is just me, so please correct me if I am wrong. Just probably now too overly 'realistically too cynical'. So please take my input with a grain of salt. 

For context’ sake, for most of my adulthood I have always been poor & I am born with special health needs (E.g. disabilities).
\n\n\nSometimes on forums we are often contrasted to Canada, for some reason. Both Canada and Australia have remarkably similar problems with a different coat of paint. Sydney, for instance, has always been high up in the list of the cities with the highest cost of living in the world. Usually within the top 10-20. 

COVID-19 obviously made this issue clearer in some circumstances because we couldn't 'work' at all. Unless you were an essential service worker, to mentally block out personal and local difficulties.\n\n\nWe still have not recovered from that 2–3 years global shutdown. The only reason I was allowed to work for a period was because I work for the animal industry and aid in animal welfare. 

I still lost my job due to COVID-19 regardless and knew I would never get a decent job again. Merely just the last poor sod on the boat to be thrown off. 

Could not become a vet nurse despite working very hard. Just because no one wants to give me '2-years permanent paid experience’ to be taken seriously. 

At the same time, way too many employers will happily take 2+ years of veterinary students volunteering at their vet clinic. With the vague promise of a permanent job.

Which, of course, never happens, then say we are being too demanding or spoilt for politely asking for said job.\n\n\nHow are we supposed to pay off our student debt if any financial service expects us to have a per meant job to pay anything off??

 No, they do not want to train nor help you. They just want free labour, then kick you out once your time is up. All my jobs have been casual, and my animal industry has already become heavily casual based ages ago. Permanent job is like looking for a magical unicorn.\n\n\nSo, even if you and your relatives lived in the way outer suburbs of Sydney for decades, being typically considered roughly lower-middle socio-economic families. 

The younger adults and kids all know and have been aware for years, they have no future at all due to having an inflated cost of living. Sugar-coating it, saying it might go in a positive direction, sounds like a blatant lie. We all know it is a lie.\n\n\nNowadays, in contrast to the late nineties and early 2000s when I was just a tiny naive kid that didn't know any better. There seems to be a more jarring split between the income brackets of what the country assumes who is poor, middle class or rich today. 

\n\nBy today's standards, my family is no longer even considered close to the very lower end of the middle class if you were reaching hard. We are considered 'poor' just because my parents do not earn roughly $50,000 — $150,000 AUD a year on their own in 2023. When something does not change within roughly 5–10 years, it is more than simply just valid for us to feel like we cannot fix what has been broken.

Also, there are times when I walk in the mall or if I go to Walmart and I am literally like the only white person in the store. Absolutely crazy. It’s a complete take over and something needs to be done about this art immigration. System is crap and broken. In Surrey BC it is full of east Indians and the gangs are nuts. There’s always shootings in broad daylight. Of course the politicians don’t do anything about that and the police are useless.

Singapore Airlines is an absolute treat to fly on. I gather in a microcosm, it is interesting to compare Air Canada and Singapore airline or all Nippon airways, with Air Canada. Air Canada is very expensive for a one or two hour flight, not so in Southeast Asia. Air Canada service is horrible, intimidating, and nasty. Singapore airlines and all Nippon airways, is exactly the opposite. Air Canada makes it very difficult for you too make claims on cancelled flights, broken luggage, and breaches of contract. Singapore airlines and other airlines in Southeast Asia go out of their way to advert a claim. The taxes on a ticket with Canada is horrendous, both indirect and direct taxes, in Singapore and all Nippon airways, much more reasonable. I think when you compare to airlines or multiple airlines against Air Canada, Air Canada is a microcosm of economics, workplace normality, and courteousness. Canadians will always say “I am sorry. “but let me assure you for somebody that is both, culturally Asian and Canadian, they don’t mean it a bit. The culture is more passive aggressive than anything else. Canadians are distant, and have a very, very remote education on their own country. I also have to give credit to the Singaporean pilots. There is usually the captain, first officer, and a second officer or two upfront. Excellent training for the up-and-coming first officers and captains. In Canada, of course we don’t do this. I feel at the safety upfront, especially in an IFR environment, is being sacrificed in Canada and North America. cost is everything, will safety seems like it has taken a backseat. Second officers should be mandatory on all Air Canada flights. This is not the case anymore. Also, on a visual approach to hit the button, I would definitely give the Singapore captain the edge. The hands and feet of an air. Canada pilot has deteriorated beyond belief where, if they don’t have their flight management system and auto pilot going in full tilt, they start sweating and second-guessing themselves. I’ve witnessed this many times.

Yes. My university can only handle 1/3 the students. Every is broken. They are broke and cant afford anything more. If I want an actual education rather than staring at the back of someones head in a dimly lit room will have to leave.

Many of your numbers are wrong sweetie. Here are the facts;\n2 years ago, you would go to IGA (where food is fresh but it is pricey), you would get out with 2 bags of groceries for about 120$. Today, it is 180$ for the same 2 bags. this is NOT a 10% increase... but almost the double in price!\n\nRent, in Quebec province, have gone from around 1,000$ to 2,400$ in less than 5 years, and each time a tennant leave his place, the landlord rise (against the law but nobody can do anything) the rent often by 25 to 40%!!! The Demand is so high, that he can refuse you for any reason (including racism, children, pet, smokers) he can think of. Again, this is against the common law but in truth, there is nothing anybody can do, unless you can bring him to court, which takes lots of money...\n\nSo in reality, from the last 5 years, almost everything has double in price and salaries have barely start to rise (mostly due to unions who revolted) but if you are not part of one, your salary basically stayed the same.\n\nA very good advice, don't come to Canada. There is no 'dream' here anymore. it is hell. And even if you find a decent job, you will be ask to do the job of 4 peoples and taking your vacation will be near impossible without losing it. If you are not dying in your country, don't come here. I knew some people that came here from France, and although the situation is bad in France, it is still easier to live in France than here and so, they returned.\n\nWe are called a social-communist country by US standard, but the truth is, we have never been so far away from it. We are now into a company distopia that have monopoly on prices, control over any legislations, and our government steal money from its citizen to give it to companies so they grow artificially without giving any more good jobs to people. I foresee a citizen unrest if not, a revolt, in the near future. The domestic violence is reaching new heights, and if you don't believe me, just look at the current news; this last 2 days have seen 2 women beaten to death by their husbands... and that is just the point of the iceberg we see... People are stressed, angry, broken, and even if we keep making jokes ( that is how we are...) we are all worried about the future of Canada.

Is there ANYTHING in Canada that isn't broken right now ? I feel for the Police and Immigration officials trying to process so many people, but the tide of negativity from so many Canadians on YT is incredible. We are faced with many of the same problems here in Australia, particularly on our East Coast, but I don't see the exodus of people who were born here. Interesting times ahead.

I live on the edge of Toronto, I go to hospitals in Toronto when I need to go to an emergency room, and I have NEVER had to wait more than 10 minutes.....\nI just don't believe that wait times are better in the states... \nI've been to emergency 30+ times, and have never had to wait... be it a broken bone, stitches, or a severe headache... I think one thing this video fails to mention is to why the system is the way it is. Saying 'broken' doesn't mean anything. It's really this was as an attempt (maybe a poor one) to make things more fair. There are so many people trying to come to America it's almost impossible to make it happen for everyone. And taking in only highly skilled people is also not an answer.

As a Chinese born person that went through the whole H1B waiting list (one of the worst even) shabang I actually truly disagree that America’s H1 system is broken. It does weed off quite some less competitive candidates so having the money to go to a top school wouldn’t automatically buy you citizenship. If anything, policies regarding family sponsored immigration and low skilled immigrant labor are the ones needs to be rehauled.

Love to visit the States. Met some wonderful Americans but a country that prioritizes guns over their children is fundamentally broken. The fact that it isn't something they think about (as he said) is telling. If children were being killed mass execution style here and the politicians weren't doing anything but shrug their shoulders I think Canadians would dismantle the Government. The fact that they don't do everything they can to protect their kids is everything in a nutshell to why I would never live there. Canada isn't perfect but I will take it any day over the States!

Umm how do we know if they have been vaccinated for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Polio, Smallpox, Malaria, Coronavirus and screened for Tuberculosis? They could be bringing in all kinds of viral airborne diseases into the USA they need to go through medical screening ASAP before babies, toddlers, children, teenagers, young adults, and the elderly are exposed to these viral air borne diseases and could possibly die along with these people that have entered illegally. If our senate, congress, governors, or the president is not going to do anything to address this possible pandemic ? that can occur due to lack of security and health screenings then why do we even have a border? USA ?? then USA ?? citizens can have mansions build in Brazil and Argentina and Chile and Mexico and everyone living in those countries would have jobs Amazon, Google, Facebook, Nordstrom’s, Sak’s, Bank of America ?? then this rushing the border would not be happening because they all would be ??USA ??Citizens ??with all their taxes going to the ??USA ?? government ??the ??USA??does not need Trump to be Great! The?? USA ?? is and has Always been a GREAT NATION ONE UNDER GOD and UNITED. These extra countries could be broken into mini states and we can hold fair elections for people to be voted ?️ into office.

Do yourself a favour and stay in the US. Trust me, you will regret picking Canada. Our shelter costs here are absurd and we have a government that flirts with communism. People easily give up their freedoms for safety. Broken health care system. Chaotic place with a lack of cultural identity, selfish people, divided country. Full of woke virtue signallers. Our young generations hate the old. Western canada and quebec don't even like the rest of Canada. Divided place with crime rates quickly rising, country is quickly turning into a dumpster fire. It's a good place though if you are a boomer because you just keep feeding off the younger generation and the immigration keeps pushing up home equity that you can use as an ATM. They are running towards a different kind of poverty here. Some of the places they are running from (mexico), economically have potentially brighter futures than here. The kids might be kicking the parents for this when they get older and see the places where they came from, have better standards of living than the place they fled too. India included, they have the potential to become an economic power house. We hardly produce anything here, and our government chokes off our natural resource exports. We have too big of government, too many regulations, too many taxes. Who would do business in Canada? Name a Canadian company other than shopify. Blackberry... Oh wait its dead. Canada is becoming one big California with crappy weather. I wish Alberta joined the US tbh.\n\nSummed up. Canada is a big ponzi scheme that relies on the greater fool theory. At some point it will get harder to attract fools to want to come here. We are lazy and non-productive, our GDP relies on a housing bubble. Canada is fine but you're basically correct. It's fantastic for mousey types who want security and sameness, but if you are looking for adventure, crackle and opportunity, it's a dead end. But if you say anything, you get swarmed by moaners who hate to be criticized. The country is addicted to news articles saying it's the best country in the world LOL. I lived in the USA for many years and it is like night and day. You feel like you are building the future. Unfortunately, the USA has an utterly broken immigration system, so good luck if you want to emigrate there.

For Canada small thing like broken arm or need information or certain medication i n that way Canada supior way, it's fairly quick treatment and tends to be effictive. Where Canada starts lagging behind is really in RnD and access to life saving procedures. Too many people die on waiting lists in Canada as there is not enough resources to go around, y'all have waited 4-8 H(normal is 2-4) just to be seen before don't fib to web now. \n\nAnd since we lack competition for newer/better medical procedure, 80-90% of our medical knowledge comes from the states or ww2 Germany.\n\nWhile on say the USA side, due to the competition they are constantly making advancements (which in the long run makes overall treatment cheaper and closer affordable). While with Canada you have fixed prices, which actually encourages stagnantion in development as anything that streamlines the hospital making it more efficient hurst the hospitals next year of available funding.. while being hurt in the USA can really set the individual back.\nIn Canada you get an overall lower quality of care as the talented doctors end up moving to the states where they can get paid what they are worth not stuck on a fixed income. And after all that rare illnesses in canada as stated don't have any coverage meaning that any one hit with hit rare illness finds out the hard way they can either pay for life saving medication or well pass on.. as most Canadian are taxed to high to have any substantial savings available for such an emergency as they fall into the trap that the government has me covered. \n\nSo each system has its positives and negatives and as far as I'm concerned it's not talked about enough honestly up hear.\n\nIf you have been to the dentist in canada thats basically the usa system, though the prices are fixed in some areas so some services won't be available.. as they don't update the payment schedule often enough so certain procedures pay well, other well can actually cost the dentist out of pocket. \nTherefore in some areas you can't get certain procedures done at all the dentist will refuse.
