I wonder why they would like to live in the US so much? I've been there and I've met a lot of people from there, I am a tour guide from spain. I would say the US its an ok country, with good job opportunities, nice infraestructure but with a lot of problems of drug abuse, homelessness and crime Specially for a so called "developed nation". I was shocked when I heard that there are what you call school shootings there! Why don't you tackle that problem and alow it to happen? I have never seen that, in such a scale in more developed countries like switzerland, japan or south korea.

It seems this is happening all over the world, USA, Canada, Australia, Japan, when will it end? Erecting a giant blue demon would have made me move immediately.

People work and spend and bring up economy. All this will eventually catch up and shrink the economy. Seen it happen one example is UK , Japan and USA. In a few years it will show

It's your own fault, you could have looked at the UK, Singapore, USA, Malaysia to see that this was going to happen. It's already happening in mass to Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Ireland.

The population comment by the Pakistani isn't 100% accurate. Sure immigration plays a big role, but undeniably the South Asians still care about having kids and forming a strong family. In my school, most students just want to enjoy life, have kids in the far future, and they don't really care about family ties like these cultures do. They'll be tight with their parents but barely know their cousins or uncles. They'll be in their late 30s finally looking to get married and have kids, which is just not realistic biologically. 45 is the average age for menopause, and you see symptoms of menopause happen before then. Not rare to see a woman get perimenopausal symptoms at age 40. Meanwhile these Asians get married "young" (normal age back in the day), and they plan their future around their family's growth. Can't really blame it on immigration when other nations like Japan and Korea don't see a huge immigrant population from South Asia and still show insanely low birth rates for the locals, because they follow the secular societal standard of having one kid so you can enjoy life. South Asians could be living in a shack and still have 5 kids. We make fun of that in the west, and now our population is on a nosedive.

To any Americans reading this: We love you. We have fought and died along side you on the battlefield for many years. When pearl harbor happened, we declared war on Japan before even you did. When 911 happened, we allowed your planes to land in Canada. We fed you and housed you. During the LA fires, we sent firefighters and water bombers to assist. You have always been our closest ally, and vice versa. You have always been able to rely on us. \n\nThat stops today, thanks to your president. Make your voices heard if you disagree with what is happening in your country. His diplomacy and tariffs will hurt the both of us. A lot of Trumps rhetoric is nothing but bald faced. inaccurate BS. To the Americans who are outraged by Trump, you need to stand up and truly fight like the MAGAts did when they stormed the capital on Jan 6th. If you really have a problem with whats going on you need to take a stand and make a difference. If you just sit back then you are allowing it to go on. Sorry if thats unfair to say but we're living in a time where your Leader is going to only get worse and worse and start a World War if he isnt stopped and held accountable. This level of Terrorism against Canada, Greenland, Palestine, Ukraine, Mexico, Japan and China CANNOT go unpunished. Throughout history if this happened 20+ years ago this would have NEVER happened because people would stand up against oppressors and dictators. Its time to do just that.

Trade wars always comes before an actual war (happened before WW1 and America waged a trade war with Japan prior to WW2). I predict America will be invading Mexico first in a blitzkrieg and then when the US economy is in a war economy it'll try to invade Canada. Heck Trump has already stated as much when he said Canada will be the 51st state of America.

Born and Raised in Canada and there is another sort of comparison I'm starting to see more and more: We have the Stagnation of Japan and the the Personality of Britain. \n\nWhat I mean by that, the people in Canada, least the older ones (Boomers), got very conservative and never wanted to rock the boat and do new things. They had in their eyes a good thing. They had work and owned their home. None of them wanted to risk that so they kept things the same for the past 3 decades or so. Well a lot has changed around the world, and were pretty much the same old. Literally. In retirement. Whats the last interesting thing Canada has done since the Canadarm? \n\nI can think of a number of achievements the rest of the world has done, including many 3rd world countries. But Canada is the same old. This has become our Culture. We don't talk about new ideas. We witness them online, but we're not Creators. We are Consumers. And that is what I think happened to Britain after they got resettled after WWII. Britain is pretty dry. And so is Canada. Hence our forest fires!

Same will happen in Japan and other countries if you decide to overstay. Nothingburger

My colleague, who is a temperary worker from Japan, told us she was kind of forced to watch some religious videos while she was working, and this guy kept telling her that he is kind of a big person who has the authority to issue Canadian visa to foreigners to come to Canada. He told her to contact him in the future when she needs visa to Canada. My collegue said he seems from India or related country.Not 100% from India. She just said he seems like. --- I would not believe that Canada has a immigration problem if i have never heard what happened to my colleague. There is so much problems in Canada, like young people facing serious drug issues, homeless issues, etc. Canada needs to deal with these issues. I hope there is less these visa or immigration issues to take away the ability for Canada to deal with issues that future Canadian children are facing.

There was an incident were a cricket match was going to be shown in the mega plex put they did not show it something happened that was not mega plexes fault that it was not being shown there was a group of Indian students who started screaming at the ticket counter. It’s because of behaviour like this Canadians are hating international students from India .?. The 2022 -2023 batch on international students are a disgrace not saying g all of them are bad just most dont come to study just a back door into the country they see one of there family members went to Canada and they should to ?‍♀️. There was a polling conducted and most Canadians want less immigration from India . Canada is not as big like America . Having so ma y people come in just puts a strain on housing, who would think that people from a hot country would want to go to a cold country…. Just go to a wormer country . Many Indians aren’t even thinking about coming to Canada anymore look for other countries. Or better yet stay in India ??. If you have money you can live a really good life in India . Taxes , are high , homes are crazy expensive , car insurance is high , people’s are getting there cars stolen don’t see the benefit really coming to Canada . And most Indians already own there own house in India so way come to Canada and in India you pay very small taxes as well .?‍♂️ and at the end of the day white people are so racist towards Indians know they look at you like you are the reason there life is messed up ? make India. Great ????. America only has its military going for it it’s such a racist place to live as well . Canada talks about how great their health care is but when you see the wait times and how they have less doctors not so great . Canada and America are only great if you are already rich but if you are poor or middle class life is a struggle. I came to Canada in 2016 worked in IT until I had enough money saved up moved back to India and bought land and built a house just started buying more land and when I had enough moved back to India . Us Indians can be successful anywhere so way not be successful in our country. Hold out politicians accountable to make our country great ……… if someone wants to still come go right ahead it’s your life . But I don’t see the point t really ???‍♂️. India. And Japan is the most technology advanced country more than America even . America and Canada are just is just over hyped…… and there people are so racist to our people so way would I want to stay in there country ?‍♂️. Because Canadians are seeing their country disappear in front of their eyes. For a country with such a massive landmass, Canada's population is microscopic. If mass migration goes unchecked for just a few generations, Canada won't be Canada any more. The maple leaf will be replaced by a crescent moon... The same thing is happening all over western countries, and it is being done on purpose against the wishes of the majority. Mass migration from African and Middle Eastern countries is changing demographics at a frightening pace, and people are rightly concerned by that. It's completely reasonable and sensible for one to want to preserve one's culture and national identity. People have fought and died for thousands of years for such things. \n \nThe fact that so many cultures and nations exist around the world is one of the things that makes our planet interesting. It's why people travel. If I go to Japan, for instance, I want to feel the difference in the way of life, but if Japan suddenly opened its door to mass migration, I wouldn't any more. So Japan doesn't open its door to mass migration, and what would you know? Japan still resembles Japan.

JT has already been costing us plenty and immigration basically is the driver of inflation above and beyond anything else above his ludicrous spending so he's costing us plenty my friend. Japan per capita debt-gdp is half of Canada and Tokyo is affordable with 37 million ... Japan's population has bee declining and apparently they haven't been investing for manufacturing high tech for probably twenty years ... slowing economies are okay but a fake economy by importing too many people is bad if your looking at the GDP of the country ... look at the per-capita-gdp instead peoples ... maybe that slid a bit in Japan but ours is getting worse faster it seems ... instead of the carbon tax they should probably be looking into manufacturing wind turbines for rooftops that are silent and maybe hydrogen cars or something ... JT has bad ideas & and bad ideas ... & more bad ideas ... he attends the WEF where foreign condo sellers attend ... it's just rich country politicians surrounded by really really rich people who want to sell condos ... JT is making it worse ... btw that WEF happens in Switzerland where they have anonymous Swiss bank accounts probably just down the street ... he couldn't possible be taking any bribes ... i would not put it past him with all the scandals ... embezzlement & cronyism ? maybe ? is he taking bribes ?

Coming from Japan, especially Tokyo, back to any other city, will be anti climatic. Same just happened to me but TO is still a pretty good city.

I was born in Canada but I'm married to an immigrant, a hard-working model citizen who is loved by everyone, we have a child together and we've now decided to move back to Japan. I will not have my daughter grow up under sharia law. I'm educated enough to know what happens when we allow Islam power. They will become the majority because, they use violence to attain their goals, and Canadians are too politically correct, too afraid of being accused of being Islamophobic. Many will think that it won't happen here, just as they think that they will never become ill or be harmed by anyone, but it will certainly happen. We are preparing to leave soon.

I live in Japan and don't regret selling my house last year in BC with the intention of not permanently living in Canada again. The healthcare system is much better here. Food is delicious and cheap...and no tipping. Houses are 1/4 of the price, with good houses for as little as....free...if you don't mind fixing them up a bit. It is safe and a short trip by public transportaion gets you either downtown or in the middle of nature. What happened to my country? Oh.....Canada.

Same thing will happen in Japan. If someone notices you have a sharp weapon(scissor, small knife for cooking, etc.) for any reason whatsoever, they will call the authority immediately. Maybe it is cool with your culture but it is their country, so follow their own rules.

Other Provinces emulated.\n\nCanada became the first country to develop univ.HC for its citizens. And this system was then in turn emulated by UK, Germany, Australia, France, Japan, Scandinavia etc.. \n\nThe USA, is the only developed 1st world country who has not developped one.\nThere's alot of conversation that it should classify as a 2nd world coutry due to its lack of Univ.HC and being 47th in Public education, high crime per capita and wealth disparity %.

If I were rich I STILL wouldn't want to live in Toronto/GTA. I'd move immediately to Tokyo or some other part of Japan. Even if you could afford to live in the GTA why would you when there's so many nicer and more safe and peaceful places to live in? \n\nI've seen enough of Japan to know that that would be the place I'd love to live in. Somewhere where you don't have to worry about crime and violence happening in your city everyday. No shootings or stabbings or robberies or carjackings or scams etc. and where the vast majority of people are nice, kind and friendly and non-violent and non-criminal.\n\nThere's a Twitch livestreamer that I watch regularly that lives in Tokyo and he regularly leaves his $3000+ bike all over the city almost without a care in the world. All he has to do to secure his bike is to lock his bike wheel to the frame without even having to attach it to a pole or bike stand etc. so that no one steals it. That is when I knew that Japan is the place for me. When you can leave your expensive stuff alone and come back and its still there. That is the kind of society I wish to live in and be apart of.

Tyler, the gun laws in the United States are ridiculous! A person can get a gun at the age of 18 but can't buy a beer, pack of cigarettes or see an R rated movie. School shootings happen in small towns too. Uvalde is barely over 15,000. I don't think the founding fathers had your current gun culture in mind when the Constitution was written. Look up Japan's gun laws. That's the model all countries should follow.

while I agree with a lot of this video theres one crucial aspect this video neglects and same with the commenters here.. POPULATION. \n\nCompared to countries like denmark, sweden, japan, france, uk, etc. we have a much bigger country to maintain landmass wise. Infrastructure. USA is similar but they have 10x the population as us. Our population in canada is pathetic. Problem is everyone stays in ontario or BC which is stupid, im in sask I want population. Another thing about infrastructure is our climate. We have such drastic events in our climate across our huge country that takes a toll. Climate problems with our low population is not a good thing. I mean most people outside canada and even within Canada dont believe me but Saskatchewan goes from like -45 to +45C with windchill/humidex. Our forests are on fire often, that is not normal. That costs so much money to fix as well. In summer sometimes, Nunavut or NWT will be warmer then here, we talk about it here when it happens. Think about that. Weather is HUGE in saskatchewan. We talk about weather daily. I never realized until internationals pointed that out that we are obsessed with weather in sask lol. \n\n Our housing market is a joke and I agree we need to invest more in buisnesses but at the same time we need affordable housing, we are in a weird spot. As far as working etc goes people commenting here lol the golden years of the 80s are gone old timers, my parents realize this that you guys were spoiled in one of the greatest time periods in human history - post WWII boom and the effects. I could go on and on how the 70s-90s were one of the best time periods in modern history for various reasons but I wont. There are problems internationally, we live in a globalist world. We still have it good. Go travel and make international friends. This is nothing that we are dealing with at the moment. All I will say though is leave the huge metropolitans like Toronto and Vancouver. Everyone wants to go there because they think 'theres more opportunity' ugh. Theres opportunity across canada but if everyone things like that there will be problems. The idea of Ontario or BC is just a big nope for me (although I go to BC every couple years, love it there I would not want to live there).

I live in Japan right now and I could totally relate to your sentiment when you brought up locking the doors. I've forgotten to lock my door countless times here in Japan, but I never feel worried because crime is just so low here. I never forgot to lock my doors back in the states and that was probably due to my sense of paranoia of what could happen if I forgot. I feel more at peace here than I do back in America. Also Japan has so much healthy (AND DELICIOUS) food everywhere you go. Fast food chains aren't all over the place here in Japan besides in Tokyo (and maybe some other big cities), but that isn't most of Japan, so living here has forced me to eat healthier and I am so grateful because I feel a lot better. I feel like moving back to America one day will be very hard when it comes to this.\n\nAlso I am surprised you all didn't mention the differences between health care! I know when it comes to Japan and America these two countries are night and day different.

To me, the problem is threefold. a) Toronto and Ontario in general - and perhaps the whole of Canada - are accepting way more immigrants than they have quality jobs for. If you need taxi drivers and plumbers, maybe this experience should be valued way higher than education as part of the existing immigration programs (which is not the case). At least then potential immigrants know this before they come and get stuck in low-paying or relatively OK-paying but repetitive and demoralizing jobs with debts and mortgages that become a trap preventing them from leaving. It's also partially on immigrants themselves who come to Toronto to only find out there's 100 people competing for one spot and that you need to be exceptional - or connected through your ethnic network - to work regular white-collar jobs. b) The official bipartisan policy of non-integration. The naive expectation that having people live in ethnic enclaves will somehow make the overall culture richer is not what happens: instead, people tend to stick to their own communities and the common culture thus gets eroded and limited to economic and financial matters. This makes some cities feel like one large business with everyone networking 24/7 instead of socializing normally. And arguably, having the right culture / social life is what motivates already successful people move in the first place. So when they come and they find out there's nothing but money talk and hustling, they leave (if they're smart). Quebec is doing better in that regard, but then Quebec is not really Canada and it's been pressured to cave in to the same money-centred, uncultured and disconnected society by the feds for decades now. The States is smarter in that it actually makes sure to integrate its immigrants (and let's be honest, many immigrants like being part of a new culture if it fits them) c) Treating real estate as an investment and not as a basic necessity (as Japan or some Nordic countries do, for example). That coupled with a lot of Asian money being laundered in Canada through immigration channels and private equity firms buying whole apartment blocks for rental purposes has led to the highest housing price increase in all of the developed world in the past 20 years or so. The median price of a condo in Toronto is higher than in New York despite the massive gap in salaries and the fact that New York is one of the most expensive cities in the world to begin with. Some draconian measures are needed here to prevent foreign - or even out-of-province ownership -, second property ownership and corporate ownership for renting purposes.

The same will soon happen in Japan if Japan is not careful of who to allow in their nation, hallal, head scraf, praying in open, terorist language, are initial steps to bring in shariya law

Why do you think thecsenterment is changing, if you dont know then you are not looking and listening to the population.
