America is unsafe for that

Why are we blaming fentanyl on Canada and Mexico? Or even China or Colombia, or wherever the hell it's produced? Last I checked, there were no Mexicans or Canadians coming over here and injecting people with syringes in the middle of the street.\nThe US refuses to legalize drugs, or even decriminalize them... and then we're surprised how there is a rampant black market with - gasp - unsafe drugs. As one slaughterhouse worker charged with cutting off the legs of conscious cows explained to The Washington Post, “They die piece by piece.”\n\nWorkers often become sick or are injured because of the unsafe and unsanitary working conditions of these gruesome facilities. Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) records show that about 17 “severe” accidents occur each month in U.S. slaughterhouses. Approximately two slaughterhouse workers have a limb cut off by slaughterhouse machinery each week. It’s not uncommon to hear of workers losing an eye, fracturing their fingers, or suffering from head trauma.\n\nOSHA indicates that U.S. slaughterhouse employees are 3 times more likely to sustain a serious injury than the average American worker. People who work in pork and beef plants are nearly 7 times more likely to develop repetitive strain injuries. According to news reports, two-thirds of workers on Upstate New York dairy farms have reportedly sustained at least one workplace injury, and many say they’re told to work through illnesses and injuries. An Oxfam America report reveals that chicken plant workers fear that they’ll be fired if they take “unscheduled” bathroom breaks, so many wear diapers.\n\nWe can all help stop the abuse and exploitation that occur in slaughterhouses simply by going plantbased and speaking out against all the cruelty and injustice of animal slave farming industries.

Even with the guns like. We have guns here. We just don’t think it’s better to have barely any regulation control or laws about attaining them owning them and what is appropriate use of them versus not. To watch Americans defend their right to bear arms as a reason to entirely ignore the amount of gun violence , combined with insane laws that literally enable or encourage said violence , from people who are not in anyway necessarily trained to asses or handle as safely as possible , urgent situations. To have any children or schools shot up not immediately cause a national need to solve the problem but jsut have it ongoing and not much change to address the issues of innexsssary gun violence to not just Canadians but a lot of the world , looks entirely insane and white honestly idiotic lol I’m just being real. \n\nTo spend the amount yall do on military to feel safe , but have such unsafe conditions in the general public is crazy to a lot of us. Outside America. Yall are a danger to yourselves and okay with that? Lol same thing with food and nutirion and fda things that are acceptable and legal but banned everywhere else ?like. You guys do realize ur safety is not only about who owns the most guns you will be less safe if ur health is poor, bec of insane things being legal to be sold and eaten , healthcare is not easily accessible , and the gun violence of ur own is always a possibility like. How does that feel safe ? \n\nI have a friend who went to school on scholarship and now works married and lives there and she hates it and feels terrified all the time. Her own husband is American and owns a gun but she hates it hates guns now. And is exhausted and has anxiety issues as a result of a lot of the culturally and legally normal gun ownership and attitudes there. A lot of Canadians would feel the exact same way. And to WANT your country to be run and managed that way screaming it at the top of ur lungs is. Bonkers bat shit crazy to many of the rest of us. Ur not the only country where it’s legal to own guns and have them, but yet we’re not hearing about school\nShootings as a problem that just never gets solved and everyone who lives there sort of shrugs about ? lol it’s. Odd. To. Us.

The fundamental problem is south american nations are so bad and unsafe compared to america...immigration will never stop as long as the global situation changes for them poor but to change that you would literally need a global government...which any nation given that much power will abuse it ...we must build up walls and protect it by force or eventually we will fall to the other nations standards

I am a Canadian exasperated with the wait times for medical care here. There is a lot of prejudice in Canada against America. Our politicians are ruining our economy and many Canadians are more interested in sensationalism about American politics than they are about problems here. Everyone living in peace and safety can afford to criticise others. But Canada was safer, friendlier and more economically responsible in the past. There are unsafe neighbourhoods here, too. There is poverty here, too. Those who don't see deterioration are not looking closely. We battle the same demons as any people group and are just as vulnerable to calamity as our American neighbours. I don't want to leave my country. The people I love are here. The rising cost of living gives me fears about future homelessness. I grew up as a patriotic Canadian and believed America was our friend. We thought maybe Americans were more prone to bragging while Canadians were more modest. My nearest city used to be vibrant and friendly and now it is colder, more dangerous and there is visible ruin from addiction.

I would never move to the USA, no way. It’s unsafe and too racist compared to Canada??,by far. You can walk around Toronto at any hour,the fifth largest city in North America and not worry about being robbed or beaten up. No murders, no crime, no looting. Everybody works. Some of the reasons Canada is voted the best Country in the world almost every year.

Nope , probably get shot , mugged , kidnapped , first week there , one thing about living where I live in Newfoundland, I don't need to worry about that , 46 years in Newfoundland, never felt unsafe , in my house, walking in the dark, walking through paths , hiking, the idea of America terrifies me ,

I agree that America has lots of unsafe pockets. But at the same time I don’t get immigrants,who come from countries that are so dangerous and impoverished to the point where you qualify for refugee status, and talk about Americas safety. Your country has real life pirates, Sir.
