Justin Trudeau's border plan of 1.3 billion over six to ten years is a joke! However, America has provided Canada with favorable trading relations and high-cost subsidies in the form of military and territorial security for decades. Is it really classy to slap the face of someone who protects and supports you and your quality of life? No, it's not! Tariffs on EU products are likely coming soon, and reduced defensive support for Europe means they will have to pay more taxes for their defense and goods.

I'm so tired of hearing you have a mandate. Half the country disagrees. Canada has long been seen as a better version of the USA. But even most Canadians will admit that that is a lie. All of the issues that they face are issues that American citizens also face but the main difference is that the US still prospers while Canada seems to be falling apart.

Im about to move from the USA to Canada, my type of visa here denies me to have a stable normal life for many reasons, also many of the issues that canadians face are the same than americans does, I belive if you try to live in Vancouver or Toronto you can not expect to save a lots of money, Im moving to a Rural very turistic area, I will have employee housing and I belive ill be able to survive and save money, not like here ofc, but I will have a more stable life in many different aspects, Im a chef so for me its normal to work long shifts which provides me of food most of the time. Disappointing you rushed over a respondent's feeling about the abortion issue in the US as it is completely on point. Health care costs are one thing (actually huge) but when you're forced to carry a fetus to term against your will (would any man?) that alone is why no woman would put her hand up to head to your neck of the woods - for her own sake and for that of her daughter's and any other female for that matter (Canadians tend to care about other people not just themselves). If you want to know why someone WOULD leave Canada for the US, it would likely be for family; or warmer weather...but at this point you guys are on fire and family can come visit us here. We are blessed here for so many reasons (fresh water, beautiful country, health care, freedom to choose, freedom to be gay or straight or whatever you are) and while my mom was American and I have cousins and even a nephew in Florida, and I used to love visiting my grandparents in Vermont and New Jersey as a kid, the whole landscape of the US has changed to one of in your face racism, hatred against women, the LGBTQ and everyone who is not caucasian, not to mention the whole gun business. This is largely because of the bulk buy up of properties by hedge funds, which in turn rent these properties at exorbitant costs, and severely limiting the supply of homes available to buy by prospective homeowners. Another factor is the curtailing of multiple family housing (as in affordable apartment buildings and duplexes) due to unprecedented restrictions on development zoning permits for the average citizen,\ninstead favoring the whims of commercial and gated community developers, most of whom have contributed to the campaigns of the various city council members who enact these policies. Beginning with deregulation and less focus on community development under Reagan, the crowding out of potential new home buyers saw an upsurge after the '08 crash. With thousands of Americans facing homelessness with impending foreclosure, most were forced from their homes, and thus a huge upsurge in demand for lower cost rentals for tenants that now had terrible credit ratings.Their former homes (sometimes entire neighborhoods), however, were purchased dirt cheap by aforementioned hedge funds and large rental property realtors from banks desperate to recoup even a fraction of their losses due to the crash. This policy of 'pump and dump' mass property purchases continued, largely turning the once suburban neighborhoods of homeowners into strictly assets to be squeezed for every bit of profitability possible. Even as the economy stabilized, even after the big banks profited overall from these foreclosures, because there were no lasting effective measures taken to prevent this housing situation from reoccurring, nor was the issues surrounding the housing market for single family home ownership ever addressed, let alone properly rectified, the housing market steadily constricted. As the U.S. gasps a last breath in it's death nell through late stage capitalism, there is no future policies or government reforms championing loudly for affordable home ownership on the horizon, and this is not likely to change anytime soon, not as long as the megalomaniacal entities continue to usurp any chance for the American Dream to be realized for all future generations.

I'm a blk American born and raised and l have serious interest in moving to Canada. Since my people are from the US this is all l know so Im acclimated to the racial climate of the states. A lot of your cons are the same issues many face in the states. Taxes are crazy cost of living is insane wages are stagnant and you basically live to work. I live in Minnesota which is not far from the Canadian border but originally from New Jersey so I'm used to the cold. The health care system is sh*t here. Noone really has money to pay privately that's why our care is funded by employers. At the current moment there is also a shortage of medical professionals so often times you still have to wait months for appointments but you know what l would rather wait and have my taxes pay for my doctor then go into medical debt. My biggest issue with America is you pay all these taxes and reap nothing at least in Canada you can kinda see where the money is going.

Everyone consumes black culture, from the filler lip service to the quick fix tan, from rock and roll to hip hop and RnB music, to sports athletes to the amazing creators out there, no need to mention names. But, we also are doctors, politicians, judges nurses, waiters, carers, scientists, builders, bankers, entrepreneurs, employees or unemployed. \n\nSadly on a day-to-day, we are not viewed as equal people, with equal rights and needs, who, by large, just want the good for our children, our families, neighbours and indeed countries. STOP INSTITUTIONAL RACISM. We are real mothers, real fathers, real children who have a birthright to equal treatment, respect and human dignity, whether or not you choose to disagree.

the people in the American continent and other western countries in Europe which are predominately Christians and liberals are now faced with a difficult challenge; since the free western world allowed the Muslim immigrants from the Muslims and other Arab countries to take refuge in their own countries, now they are engaged in a constant battle against their respective contrasting values, religious principles, and cultural practices....the big question now is which thoughts and culture will prevail? because, unlike the conflict on slavery centuries hence, the issue and concern then was merely black or white people or racial (about color of the skin).....now it is more relatively sensitive, complex and extremely serious......my issue thus, is how can a liberal, freedom loving and religious tolerant western society deal with an intolerant, discriminating, extremely arrogant and most often violent Muslim believers living in their own communities.......Clearly Europe and America is being Muslimized..my worry is that Europeans do not see the semblance between Muslim with communism...both seek to overthrow the prevailing order to fit theirs.
