I wonder how racist dogs roam freely in Canada? Indians are hard workers; there are various non-working German tribes with mafia gangs, there are Chinese gangs with separate police stations that do not respect Canadian laws; you can stop at Tim Hortons for an hour and work on PC time and talk.

Immigrants aren't the problem. The problem is when they don't integrate or adopt local customs, when they form ghettos. That's not immigration, it's invasion. If you choose to live in another nation, out of respect and gratitude to the nation that welcomed you, you must integrate, be part of, assimilate—without losing your roots, of course, but adapting.
I am from a country of immigrants (Argentina). My ancestors were Spanish (Galician/Catalan), Italian, German-Jewish, and Polish, and they all assimilated, adopting Spanish-language and Argentine customs without losing their roots.

This is crazy. I am an Indian, and I fail to understand why so many Indians choose to live in other countries. For money? Don't they have any self respect or dignity? It us true that Germans, Irish, Italians etc did migrate to USA en masse, but they did it out of desperation, to avoid famines.
Indians must understand, western people despise the fact that so many Indians living in their countries. They don't like you. They why?
Come back to your motherland, and serve the nation.

As a German: respect for this speech, Mr. Trudeau. Trump's policies are a blow to the democratic world. Apparently the madman in the White House wants to come to terms with a lying murderous dictator in Moscow.

We in Europe support, honor, and respect the Canadians. I come from a small town in the southwest of Germany, and people are still telling me stories about the nice canadian soldiers that were stationed there until the 90s. I've got canadian relatives and I absolutely adore your country, like so many other germans and europeans. We stand with you Canada, because we share the same values and a COMMON SENCE AND HUMAN DECENCY❤ Qualities, which are hard to find in this MAGA Administration. The EU supports you and welcomes you into their family, like it always has. Lets fight these dicks together haha

I've always respected Canada as a intelligent, polite but tough as nails country. I have not and will not forget how you helped liberate my grandparents by spearheading into their German-occupied country and for providing refuge for their royal family. I can only hope that the special relations between Canada and the EU will become warmer instead of colder like the direction that has been chosen by the US.

From a German once living a year in Canada: If you make a Canadian that angry you really messed it up. I couldn't imagine of any better ally to have. You deserve to be treated so much better and such behavior comes from a person shouting for more respect at others. All my love to your beautiful country.

We Indian are almost legal immigrants to Germany. All Indian state love community adoption, we are big inside our culture and different language 28 spoken in India . \n1. We are more adoptable and love to mix another culture. So no doubt of German ?? government policy towards India ?? \n2. We love technology, most Indian immigrants from India who live in Germany are mostly tech guys\n3. A handshaking promise should go,, language barrier should be minimized,, you teach us German language please don’t deny us first instance on language barrier. I know 80% German know English since you are developed from childhood that can be very respectful and interesting. Language learning come with social relationship\n4. Positive things come with positive attitude

This is a direct message to the German People.
\nI say this as a working-class Englishman.
\nYou have paid your debt enough with your liberal bullying governments since WW2
\nYou are a proud race and a hard working one.
\nIf you reject multiculturalism there is no need to be ashamed of your choice.
\nWe working-class Brits have and want nothing to do with our liberal establishment.
\nSO..My point is... '' We are in the same situation as you. Don't be fooled.''
\nHere is the Kicker. In 30 years time they will be the majority in my land.
\nClose your eyes, and imagine what these people are capable of doing.
\nThe very very sad thing here, is that we were the 99% Indigenous population of this great Land in 1948.
\n Sadly the 1% Globalist Bilderberg liberal elite brought these people here without even asking us !! Imagine the sheer vulgarity of it all.
\nTo this very day, they show us absolutely no sign of respect whatsoever.

It's simple numbers, China & India have billions of people respectively! So it's the numerical probability of people of said countries to emigrate more than say people from lower populated countries ( common sense) yea I know not my problem is probably your response. All but the first Nations people are economic migrants & of course the refugees.Immigrants can only integrate in a generation or 2! German, polish, Ukrainian & other non Anglo Saxon from the 1900's did in fact speak, maintain their cultures for over a generation. It can be daunting for individualistic cultures to get people from collectivist cultures to integrate from day one. What is Canadian Culture? Individualism, anglophone, liberal as long as they are descending from the context of euro Christianity, conservatism as long as it keeps itsroots in euro Christianity. Liberal Consumerism (hypocritic capitalism) gender equality which is only possible with GDP no matter the culture. (Quebec - will never be anglophone, why should they ?)

I am sri lankan dude born and raised in germany. I work in a company where most are german. They are quite respectful , funny and quite sensitive in terms of racism, homophobia etc. I even hang up and party with them in freetime. The work life balance is insane , much better than USA. If u r sick u r sick , no one dares to question u. All that because of Young People they r different than the older ones in public services etc. . So if u get into a good company everything will be fine. I know its hard...but thats they key.

I came to Germany in December 2022.\nI work as an unskilled worker.\nI graduated from university, but I did not apply for a qualified occupation because my German is not B2 or higher.\nFor the first 6.5 months I shared a room.\nDuring those 6.5 months I applied for apartments and collected money. I found an apartment with the help of the application.\nI was separated from my family for 14 months, but we managed to reunite. We also found a place for our son in kindergarten.\nMy German level is A2. When I needed to, I used the English language in government offices as well. People also understood my level of German. None were angry that my language level was not higher, but I managed to finish everything so far.\nI can say that all my experiences so far have been positive, I tried to respect my appointments.\nIn perspective, it would be beneficial for Germany to use English more because a qualified worker, if he has to choose between a country with English or Germany with German, will choose English first.\nThe German language is wonderful, but the world simply works in English and that's how it is.\nAlthough it would also be useful for those of us who came to Germany to learn more German for better business opportunities. Investing in knowledge and openness is beneficial for all parties.

Great video. Thank you! My experience was a bit quite different when I arrived there in 2007. I did have support in bureaucracy and German skills. My university gave me almost free courses and scholarship payed full time courses with living cost included. I did have the luck to meet good Germans friends that helped me and made me feel included. After some years, when I wanted to pursuit a natural career path is when I found difficulties. Being promoted more than senior engineer, a manager positions or a Professor position were out of my reach because of me being different. My earnings aspirations soon reached a limit and then decided to leave to California. I have full respect and love for Germany, but there I was not able to be what I wanted to be. Now I have achieved more abroad. However, I still miss some things from my life there.

With all due respect but most Germans I met, made friends with, or interacted with are, arguably, the grumpiest folks I've ever seen.

Thanks so much for this video! I admire the hard working and awesome culture of most people I have met who have come to Canada from India! We definitely needed help in filling in the deficit of employees that are needed in Canada! It is a shame that ALL political parties did not solve the housing issue which we knew was going to be a problem, many decades ago, even well before the Harper government! This is not rocket surgery! LOL\nIn Northern Ontario we have a LOT of Indian immigrants. All the ones I have met are very well educated even though they are working in the service industries! I know several Indian Canadians who are Doctors, Teachers and Engineers! Almost all of my experiences have been positive! Of course it is human nature to always highlight issues, for example: I caught one group of people throwing garbage in a parking lot, and immediately notified them that they had dropped something, and even followed them with the garbage. One of the group stated, it was just trash. I told him there was a garbage can right over there, and I just KNEW that they did not want to throw it just lose on the ground, and wanted to help keep our town clean. They said sorry and politely picked it up and placed it in the garbage can. Hopefully lesson learned! I politely and respectfully spoke out, to a good resolution.\nMy parents were immigrants from war-torn Germany. I know ALL about prejudice for new immigrants. Our parents being German-Canadian at a time right after WW2, where MOST Canadians had an Uncle, a Father, a Grandfather or someone they knew who had fought and some died because of Germans! Although I am not a person of colour, so I personally do not know that side of prejudice. We all need to treat each person as an individual and try not to paint all peoples with one brush! Love is the only way forward! \nThanks again for your well worded video!\nPeace n Love!

I think I will leave also. I think somewhere in german cultures, they just respect german more than foreigners. They don't tell directly to my face. But I can feel it somehow. But anyway they are german and here is their country. They can do that. But after study here 5 years, I think that, I will leave

even india or china better for an outlander than germany. You may think i am exeggerating but i had sameeconomic comfort conditions in China if not better, and ı was more welcomed by locals. ındeed locals especially childdren are excited to see me since there are not many foreigners. I am well respected. On the other hands germans were saying Auslander raus. Ich bin raus, sei glucklich.

My experiance with German culture is kind of simillier. All though I am not from Germany but from Austria.\nThe simillierities are kinda parallel. \n- The housing market is getting worse everyday.\n- Compared to the other countries the job market is not that matured. Specially in tech. The salaries are capped and you can reach the ceiling super quickly.\n- All though I don't have any friends here, my overall experience with people weren't that bad, specially considering I don't speak German.\n- Occational racism? sure. But there were good people as well. And I think there are bad people everywhere.\n\nAll though I was mentally at a bad place after a year living in here, what helped me better my mental health was realizing that my worth does not comes from other people, and not everyone needs to me my friend. \n\nTips if you're a newcomer.\n- Realize that people are not cold because you look different, but sometimes its the culture, so do not take it personally.\n- Be polite to other people and don't be apologetic if you can not speak german while taking services, often time speaking in easy english without thinking of grammers helped me making people feel easy to communicate with me.\n- Meeting people would be hard, so rather than trying to make friends everywhere try to join an activity that you actually enjoy, often time you will meet likeminded people that you can build true friendship with.\n- And be respectful to their culture.

I'm puzzled by the constant negativity and sense of entitlement I've encountered. As an immigrant from the EU, I've lived in Germany for six years and have only experienced racism once, at a club entrance. Ironically, I faced more racism in my own country during elementary school. In contrast, I've never encountered any discrimination in my job, studies, or social interactions here. Germans from various backgrounds, including dorms, sports teams, and university, have welcomed me to their gatherings. I'm a person of color and speak imperfect German, yet I've been treated with kindness and respect.\n\nGermany has offered me free education and incredible opportunities in industry and research. While I'm not wealthy, my quality of life is significantly better than it was in my home country, with plenty of room for improvement. I'm grateful for these opportunities and willing to contribute to the community. My advice is simple: be thankful for what you have, try your best, and if you're not a good fit, consider moving elsewhere and express your gratitude. It's that straightforward.

18 years working and living, on and off, in most German big cities...i can safely say Germans are among the nicest people in Europe..as long as you are not an unruly clown wanting to force your way on them..... don't expect Germans to hug your at first sight , prove that you trust worthy, behave yourself , be respectful to rules, be kind, ...you get so much in return,

I went to Germany for my Masters at one of their top universities, back then (10 years ago) taken in by their great public image and a personal interest in Germany history and culture. Looking back now having also experienced living in the UK, HK and Sweden thereafter, I can understand why Germany has trouble attracting the top talents, or any ambitious individuals seeking to develop their career overseas.\n\nIt doesn't provide the money.\nIt doesn't provide a dynamic enough market and opportunities.\nIt doesn't provide the same type of diversity and excitement in truly world-class cities like London, HK etc. Don't get me started on food.\nEverything is functional but that seems to be the sole standard to aspire to. \nGermans are not the people whom you can bond easily. Sincere and friendly many are, but the amount of effort needed to even crack beyond that shell is ridiculous. In this respect I think most north europeans are quite cold and distant. But working with Germans you need to also handle their 'honesty', intensity and directness on top of that. The lack of nuance rubs a lot of people in the wrong way. \n\nThe Germans whom I met and spent their formative years overseas are fantastic. Invariably none of them would have thought of moving back.

Only Country in whole world where a foreigner lands and goes to Ausländeramt, guess what they speak with you in German and not to stop there, they can get super aggressive for you not speaking in German! \n\nThis is the situation in Ausländeramt which is supposed to help people to integrate when they land freshly in Germany ?\n\nPeople gets their heart broken in their first week and that’s the first impression they are giving to highly skilled people who want to enter and work in Germany! \n\nGermany bureaucracy is fully nuts! Specially Ausländeramt needs a new order of work to help foreigners, atleast give some respect to Bluecard holders some making more than 100K and treated like junks! \nThey will not bother to give respect back at some point ?

As an Indian, who is the highest income earning ethnicity in Germany like USA.. Yes I can say that people are good as I have many German friends and some directly judge me as per my face and clothes to look cool n all(but yes they respect us). And not only Germans but also other people from Western countries and Korea, Japan, Indonesia and some treat us differently. They say that we are talented people but have that old stereotype in them which I can read on many people's faces as soon as I see them. but I don't care. \n Apart from that, Germany has slow bureaucracy, long waiting times, no adjustments nd easy to go like us, canceled trains, less digital infra., and a language barrier. I work as a highly skilled professional in a Supply chain with so-so pay.

Germany should send recruiters to US colleges and universities. Remember that the largest minority in the United States are German Americans!! Stop going to the ME and places that don't respect your values. Also in Argentina and Chile, and Dominican Republic, and Colombia ( yes really) have huge German communities. But you have to go and actively recruit.

I am Brazilian, living in Germany for 5 years. Upon coming, the one and first thing I worked on was learning German. Regardless of how open a society is/is not, if you chose to move somewhere LEARN THE LANGUAGE. You don't have to speak like Goethe. Learning the language shows respect for your adoptive country. That the Nurse was the only one to conduct the interview in German is telling. She is respectful, she learned German and is at home in Germany. Changing countries is never easy, but not learning the language is complete lack of respect.

The countries of European nations are being flooded with foreigners, overrunning these nations. Places like England, Germany, France, Netherlands, etc are ethnic wellsprings. Just like Japan, Korea, Vietnam, India, etc, etc. Flooding these wellsprings with other ethnic groups dissolves the ethnic groups (the nations) of those countries. England should be for the English, Japan for the Japanese, Germany for the Germans, etc. If the ruling regime actually cared about respecting different ethnicities/cultures and their existence, if they cared about actual diversity, they'd be opposed to immigration. But instead they are destroying European nations - and places like Japan and South Korea are also in the early stages of this. It's evil. \nAnd as for why Canadians are getting upset is because the ethnic compositions of Canada are changing so fast. So fast. It is becoming like a different country. Why are they doing this to us? It would feel more comfortable if the homelands of European nations were not under this same existential threat, but they are. It's alarming. This is horrific.

You are not a Muslim Canadian you are Canadian \nYou are not FRENCH Canadian you are Canadian\nyou are not African Canadian you are Canadian\n\nand so forth and so on....end of discussion you are only CANADIAN,\nyou don't create a diverse society by segregating yourself out from the start.\n\nI was born in Germany I left with my parents because of quality of life and unemployment..... I am now Canadian and I don't go calling myself German Canadian.....I respect my background and heritage but its not what I am today.
