My parents came to Canada over 30 years ago with employable skills and money to support ourselves. We go through Canadian education system, get Canadian jobs and pay Canadian taxes. We still celebrate our own heritage with food and holiday but we do them in our own house. Not sticking into people’s faces. I feel that’s how immigration should be like. It is also very hard when every single store; walmart; Fast food is all India. Other races will not be hired, so all we see are India taking over every taxi and every single job. The issue is real concerns warping into a racist perspective. No doubt there’s too many Indians coming into Canada, as the Canadian government is more than happy to accept. And the frustration from over-immigration turning into “fuck Indians”, it happens so quick. Being a man born in Canada with Indian heritage, lets you see how much the new immigrants don’t like you because you are too “white” for them, and Canadians don’t like you because you look like all of the new people coming in that look just like you. I grew up with integration that I LOVED, met people from all over the world. I've been working since I was 14 I've worked for people from all over the world , rented from different people since I was 18 and learned great things I can add to my construction or cooking repertoire that you could possibly couldn't learn in the West without diversity. BUT now we have a group of people coming here buying up businesses while only hiring people from their country buying up single homes putting up crammy 8 plexus, and only renting to people from their home country. As a European having lived in both Canada and the United States for prolonged times, my view is this: Canadians are basically the same as Americans but with Health Care. Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. I’m from a south Asian country Living in Canada. I have never found Canadians to be racist towards me or my family. We respect Canadian culture and heritage and we blend in well. Our kids are Canadians. They are not sound Asians. I don’t brain wash them to think any other country is grater than Canada. They have strong Canadian values and will be devastated if someone ever discriminates against them. I have taught them it’s a privilege that they were born in a such a great country and to love and respect their country.

YGood day. For from context I'll reveal a little about me. I am around 27% Indian, 34% northern African people which is around 61% combined. My other ancestry includes Wales, Sweden, Norway Scottish and Irish, Hebrew/ jew as in from 12 tribes of Israel, However, the world calls me black Jamaican born. I live in small town with population under 41,000 people in northern Ontario Canada for past 21 years. I remember when I came here with company contracted to build and say very few black people mostly French African and some mixed black with some Chinese probably total under 20 people other than white or indigenous peoples. Over the years was steady increase of black, Chinese, Philippino, and my Indian doctor and his family to maybe total around 50 none white none indigenous peoples. Just before pandemic we had a large number of Indian students which was awesome to see considering my heritage as my grandmother on dad side was Indian. But a year before pandemic we noticed many started working in convenient stores and fast food places like most high school students do to save for college/university which was becoming a problem for Canadian students as some employers got incentives or cheaper labour to maximize profits. As pandemic rolled in so it seems more Indian students from other regions in Canada. So, Canada, Ontario, and small town I reside already had huge housing problems as some homes we even to be condemned and indigenous homeless from north increased crime rates and now we had students living beyond building code occupancy with shared living causing rentals to shoot up in prices as landlords became greedy and selfish. This small town of under 41,000 is by some estimates over 55,000 by increasing Indian students who for past 5 years fighting to get permanent residents even though they came as students which proves the goal was always invasion and coming as students was the ticket. If you and rest of new immigrants don't see the problem yet, I'll continue. 95% of taxis have Indian drivers, 98% food and other delivery Indian, 90%+ convenience and groceries, clothing and all stores 90%+ , vehicles on roads 70% Indian, my son barely got into college with 90%+ Indian population in college and his class is 2 white students, himself only mixed , and 2 Africans and 22 Indian students who cheats on a regular basis but professor afraid to confront as they are quick to call racism. But even bigger for me is these Indian students/new immigrants have no respect for the history of Canada and USA not knowing how indigenous peoples were raped tortured and murdered to take over this country and then enslaved African people to build this country while they raped tortured treat less than animals and still suffering with fighting for equal rights for over 400yrs while still being racially profiled and beaten and murdered by police officers because of this colonizers system. Now you come here and benefits from black and indigenous peoples struggles and claiming rights when you have not been fighting the battles with us or for us. Also, the criminal aspects of your community is not being taked about as well which includes extortion to businesses owned by Indians, car thefts, drug trafficking, human trafficking and other criminal activities. There's so much more than just saying you feel unloved by the people you're taking things from for their children and grandchildren and generations without showing any respect as that is defined as selfish. Glad this is happening! First, because the govt. should put their citizens & their heritage as top priority. Secondly, because permit to study doesn’t mean permit to permanently settle down. Don’t use words like racism during protests. That’s not racism. Canadians are much more tolerant as compared to places where many of us come from - places that are pure classists, casteists & extremists! Yes, this exists in 21st century. Finally, there is no deeper philosophy involved - learn to respect & assimilate in a new country. Work hard. Follow the rules. I mean these days I am seeing people failing to follow basic civic sense & social manners. This is creating a problem for the entire community. The only thing I would say cause you seem to be very young. Is that brampton actually in the 70's and to early 2000's used to be mostly a white and black community and then other cultures. I am born in Toronto I have a cousin born in Toronto who currently lives in brampton she owns a house in brampton for about 25 years. And is going through a lot mentally with the slamming. We got of people from India mostly in the last 2 years, but it's been going on slowly over 10 years and she's not doing well with the overwhelment of Indians and we're of black Jamaican heritage. So just so you know, brampton used to actually be white and then black was actually the second largest population and everybody else was after that. And then in the last 10 years they started coming but it wasn't in hundreds of thousands and then in the last 2 years it blew up insanely. As that man described is like an invasion. I now live on the West Coast of Canada and the same thing has happened here. And it's been a lot for me Canadian born. I've always grew up with every culture. I've lived and worked around the Indians that used to come here were literally not even on the radar. I mean you see them, but you just they just blended in because most of them had assimilated and were doing their lives. The breed that has come over specifically in the last 2 years is what is making it even worse cause if they acted like the ones who came before 10 -20 -30 years ago. They probably wouldn't stand out, but then again when you bring in almost a million, into all of Canada, they would stand out, but maybe people wouldn't be so agitated, if they had tried to assimilate and be respectful to the other cultures here and that is the number one complaint I hear anytime, I see interviews. Is people saying they don't assimilate? They're very rude to anybody who is not them. They are just interacting with the environment. The way they do at home, Canadians are more quiet and try to be respectful of other cultures. We like to just have their own space and our own peace when they're moving throughout this space and a lot of people describe the energy of the Indians coming in almost evasive into your space and then not really carrying anything about invading ur space. They act like, so what's the big deal if I'm in your space and that has been the number one issue is just the rudeness. Not assimilating and imposing their culture, speaking their language, not attempting to integrate with other cultures showing actually a lot of racism to some of the other cultures. And that has been the biggest problem. So just so you know, cause I can tell you're young. I'm North 40 years old and I can tell you. The demographic change has been so intense everywhere in Canada especially in the last 2 years. That I have even seen podcast with Indian people who have been here 10 -20-30 years, saying the government needs to figure out a way and get a good swath of these people gone because they are. Staining them with a negative brush. Cause I can tell you. It's only in the last 5 years. That I notice Indians. I've grown up around every culture. And I just don't notice individual cultures in that way. Until in 2022, Trudeau took the guard railsl off the foreign worker program and the student Visa working program. And just said Hey, anybody want to come bum rush the door now? And India is known for having middlemen in India that work with Fake Diploma Mills scholls with brampton having over 80 of them that the middlemen work scamming Indians by telling them if they pay anywhere from $5000 all the way up to $50,000 even higher to get fake school acceptance letters, so they can come here to get the word permit and work full-time or with companies that provide fake LMIA job offers on the black market, which is illegal under the I.R.C.C, but that is a thing that they had prior to 2022. And when Trudeau took the guards rails off when it comes the requirements and basically. Made it a free-for-all and as India already had the scamming infrastructure in place that kept their population moderate and it just allowed th scammers to go nuts, so that's why we got mostly Indians. Other cultures do it too, but it's so tiny. It's not noticeable. The Indians already had the infrastructure in place that when they took off the guard rails, it was easy for them to switch and start selling these opportunities to go to these fake schools was over 80 of them in brampton t such a lightening speed. I made a concentrated effort to assimilate into the American culture as quickly as possible and become a productive part of the American culture and it's traditions. I embraced my new home but still valued my heritage and what I could contribute to this society - tolerance and patience. Sadly, what you stated regarding this kind of negative behavior started to creep in, even here, during the Barack Hussein Obama administration (very backward man and backward values) and has steadily become worse over the past 10-12 years here in the U.S. People of Indian heritage truly have a lot to offer countries like the U.S. and Canada when these people conduct themselves in a civilized and cultured manner.

Those from India are like any other immigrants. They're trying to find their way in a new society with different customs and rules. My parents came here in the 50’s from Italy and were discriminated against in the same ways. As first-generation Canadians, my brother and I were discriminated against because of our heritage in school and then in our chosen careers.\n\nIn general, Indians are hard-working, well-educated, English-speaking and entrepreneurial. In general Indians benefit Canadian society.\n\nI became friends and eventually best friends with my neighbour from Punjab. He came here with nothing and became an educator for children with special needs. He had two master's degrees. One from McGill University and one from Cambridge. He was involved in our community at many levels. We spent most evenings discussing life, and society issues and even worked together on a campaign of one of our local councillors and won. He had a positive impact on all who knew him. Unfortunately, he passed in 2012. RIP Rupinder Jeji. You are dearly missed.

And I would even go so far as to say most Canadians dont hate Indians either. What we DO hate is the disrespect we are being shown by many (not all) of these immigrants coming into OUR country. Many are coming here and expecting US to conform to THEIR ideology, their customs, and their way of life.\n\nWe have Indians worshipping Allah on the streets blocking traffic when they have their temples. We have Indians demanding Syrian (I hope I spelled that correctly, if not then I apologise...) laws be implemented, and we have Indians whom, as you said, are taking many of our jobs because of the mass influx of Indians entering into the country. That last part I FULLY side with you as being our useless gov't's fault.\n\nI cant really blame Canadians for feeling how they feel about what is happening though. Let me ask you this. Based on what I just said. If you had a masss influx of another race come into India and doung all the things I just mentioned along with what you mentioned, how do you think the Indian people would feel? Why should they get treated like Canadian workers they are not Canadians and they have to earn that right and respect our culture, our heritage really they all should serve 3 years in the Canadian Military and price you want the best for yourself and not spungging off tax payers back ! \nbut all in all we don't need migrants we have more then enough people to fill jobs.

Canadian here with what I hope is a level headed view.\n\nI would say that the biggest issue and problem is to be laid at the Liberal Party's feet. Both Canadians and Indians are Pawns in a political game of Chess. Trudeau and his administration are using the Imagination community for votes. This also means that so as not to offend Immigrants new to the country, Canadian ways, traditions, lifestyles, ect. are targeted by the Liberal government.\n\nAs an example, If I went anywhere in the Middle East, I would be expected to respect and adhere to the laws and traditions of the country I am in. BUT, here in Canada, it is becoming no longer acceptable to celebrate our heritage, traditions or even holidays as it might offend Immigrants.\n\nThat's an idea as to the bigger picture.\n\nThe smaller picture is stupid things like an Immigrant the his or her diet doesn't allow the ingestion of Pork/Ham/Bacon.... but say orders a Bacon Cheese Burger then makes a scene because he or she isn't allowed to eat pork... and eventually is given the meal for free. Or in one case the restaurant offered to pay for the entire meal in which the 5 immigrants at the table drank $350 in Alcohol. Yes I have witnessed both. \n\nThere are also cultural issues which cause friction. The language barrier being one major. Especially when an Immigrant tries to claim he or she cannot speak the English or French but holds a valid Driver's license. The license could not be held if the individual doesn't speak English or French. \n\nRegardless, individual issues are small when confronted with a government that treats everyone as Pawns.

Throw out multiculturalism which was designed by Communist Pierre Trudeau to gain and retain power in order to eradicate Canada's English Christian heritage, Canadian culture and Canadian values. Canadians stand up for your Canadian culture and values. Immigrants who refuse to join us leave.

Being Canadian used to mean being English (British) or French. Nowadays it means nothing. Only Quebec has some semblance of a real identity. Most heritage Canadians barely know or care about being of English origin.

The banks lobby the government to bring in more people while housing skyrockets pushing out 7+ gen Canadians and our communities within cities get overrun with Indians/Chinese as we continue to lose our British and French heritage in these areas.

Canada is in crisis due to immigrants so I don’t understand why you keep coming. Of course Canadian people will not welcome you, our kids can’t get jobs because all jobs are filled with Indian students who agree to work for less ruing our work system. We have Indian people crapping on our beaches because they don’t know how to use a bathroom. Complete different mindset and culture. We are a clean country and welcoming but millions of people at once is too much. I’m pretty sure India would feel the same way if Canadians would do that to you. Not sure why everyone in the world is allowed to be proud of their culture and heritage except for EU or western world. Canada needs to keep it euro/ first nations that's who are, and the western heritages ... \nnow we have people here who can't even call themselves Canadian cause it no longer has its meaning and want to build their mosques, and hindu temples all over Canada... I believe we are being invaded !
