As an American, I am so heartbroken by what is happening to our country and our allies. The majority of Americans are devastated, furious and sorry. This is the most powerless I have ever felt in my life.

Americans seem to be powerless or in shock as their nation is begging handed over to Russia. Putin has a plan, long term plan and it’s working . Yet most Americans are in limbo as their rights and future is being taken away from them :(.

I am so overwhelmed by the fact that I am powerless against my own governments idiotic actions that completely destabilize the world. Please understand that over half of Americans are just as shocked as Canadians, and we love you as our neighbors. We let a ruthless dictator brainwash our vulnerable and uneducated and exploit every crack in our system to get here. I’m very scared for what’s to come and it sucks so badly that we all have to pay for an egrogious act of an elderly nepo baby that doesn’t understand how government and the world works.

Im an American. I can tell you all of us are barely surviving and the average people feel powerless to stop this madness. Sorry Canada MAGA elected a mad man. ?

As a powerless American, I hope other countries will help curve Trump's madness/power kick. \n\nIt's embarrassing. He's destroying our economy, causing mass job loss, and just being played like a monkey by Musk, the Republican Party, and Putin. \n\nSeriously....I get his followers are either selfish rich people or ignorant barely passed highschool racists, but stupid/selfish is an excuse that only goes so far.

It’s honestly such a disgusting feeling to be an American right now. I love my country and many of its people but the trump administration is tarnishing this country and making it an embarrassment across the globe. I feel powerless and angry. I hope for the best and I fully support this response Canada.

American here -- I feel powerless in moving the needle in regards to Palestine. Do you have any meaningful resources or suggestions on what someone like I could do to help? I've written and spoken to my representatives, and my church has been raising money for aid donations even though, with Israel's blockade, it's been really hard to know if the help is getting through. \n\nI am so sorry, please know the vast majority of Americans aware of the situation condemn the genocide in Gaza. The mainstream news likes to platform far right Zionists, but most Americans are either opposed to the siege or are oblivious to what's happening.

Any trip outside the United States will tell you about how few people would want to move to the US if they could live in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the UK, or Europe instead. Probably a whole lot of other places, too. The United States has too many of its citizens living in fear. That’s a culture whose very admirable democratic and social goals are subverted by worshipping aggression and religious extremism, the very things they say they were fighting against in the Middle East and Afghanistan. I know that many Americans feel that way about their country and their fellow citizens but feel powerless to change it and that the plutocracy (which is largely in day-to-day control) seems to block any progress towards a better way of living.

Why am I not surprised that TYLER, a white American male, does not think the political-religious-racist fusion is THAT bad.\n\nNotice that he skips the impacts of the aforementioned political-religious-racist fusion by refusing to read the comment on abortion rights.... Again, not surprised that he has dipped out on the real issue (there are not kids being shot in schools every day, so Tyler feels that commenters might be exaggerating?)\n\nI am always surprised by how powerless individual Americans appear to be in the face of the highly politicized gun lobby. Tyler literally sayes there is nothing he can do about it. Home of the free, apparently.

Mexico is powerless to the US! If FJB really g.a.f. about those people and not just their votes and replacement of the American lives they destroy he would help their country. There is absolutely no reason we cannot make a deal and send in out forces to take down the cartels or move more factories from China to Mexico for jobs!!!

Lock the borders down, fix us first. We crime, poverty, economic crisis, and much much more! We need to fix our country before we let abunch of others be let in and ruin our country. America must think of the interests of her and her people and her alone. None of this would have happen if all your MF would have just kept trump in office American would have been great now but instead we fell back and have a powerless government I want my country to be number 1 and have growth! HORDES OF THE APOCALYPSE \nCanada doesn't have the resources to stop 1 million+ newcomers from the US every year, while Biden and company don't care much about closed borders, so once the republicans regain power, illegals in America will stampede into Canada on a scale never seen before in history, mostly in Ontario and Québec, but also the West: The federal and provincial governments are powerless to stop this coming migration of newcomers into Canada because the border is very great and the wave is an ocean of peoples from the US southern border. The newcomers are socialized in despotic and troubled countries, so their strengths, tenacity and hardened ways will cause them to displace traditional Canadian minorities, and they will soon control the levers of big city political and economic power. Whosoever stands in their way, namely Darwinian and Marxian elites, will be ruthlessly cut down. The worldhood of the world is the worldization of the world's worldality, the worldliness of the world, viz., the worldline: The developmental unification of the coaxial integration of the American world.
