Canada’s government should be ashamed

Listen, immigration has always been a strength in this country but bringing millions of immigrants at the same time into a country made no sense. Trudeau's government should be ashamed but they'll never take responsibility for their mistakes. Now everything is messed up and it's going to take years to fix. Unfortunately these TFWP programs all need to stop - Canada is broken right now.

Yes these immigrants are very rude. They have no personality. I was in Walmart and the cashier of course an imaginant and she's so sour, and as my items are piling up .she said you have to pack these items away before I continue. In the meantime I'm getting my bags out and trying my best to hurry because the line is very long she's just standing there looking around instead of offering to help me pack up my groceries no ..... SHE doesn't do that. She's standing there. I found it very rude, disrespectful, disgusting and no help for another human being.. they have no compassion for our Canadian people. It's disgusting I'm truly thinking of boycotting Walmart. They need to be back in there own country. Not to come here and behave this way. Canada is Done. Our government should be ashamed of themselves. To treat their own people like garage. But they will pay for their EVILNESS

I'm an American with some family ties to Canada and I'm deeply ashamed of how my government under Trump is systematically destroying it's historic relationships with almost all our allies. Trump and his cronies are only interested in the use of raw power to dominate the current geo-political reality. Thank you Trudeau for speaking so bluntly and honestly and for standing up to our bully-in-chief.

I’m an American, but I am not feeling very safe in my own country. I do not like what is going on. I feel very helpless and concerned about what the future holds. I am with Canada, and Ukraine. I am embarrassed and ashamed of our government and what is happening.

As an American with Canadian ancestors I am so ashamed of what my government is doing. I wish I could go back to my roots. Canada and Mexico as well are us, North Americans. We should be negotiating any disagreements we have as adults. Oh yeah I didn't vote for Trump. I mean do I look nuts?

That's hilarious how CNN has adopted a loser PM of a third world country to be it's faint beacon of their version of Democracy. \n \nCanada is a colony of the UK. Trump's going to bankrupt the U.S. just as he has many of his businesses. As an American, I can't wait to move up to Canada. I'm absolutely embarrassed to be a born and raised American citizen. Trudeau is correct. I am ashamed of our current usa government and its treatment of its closest allies. The speech of Mr Trudeau, the way Canadians have shown solidarity for one another, today it all puts my country, The US, to shame. I am ashamed of what my government is doing and I am disgusted with the people doing it. In Mr Trump’s first term, as eclipsed as they were by the many many many actions and attitudes he imposed on us that embarrassed and hurt us as a country, there was the rare occasional decision I could at least understand even if I did not support it. Since taking office literally not one thing he has done has made sense to me as an American. I can only say how sorry I am for what the country I love is being used to do to you all, especially our closest allies and friends and in particular the people of Canada today. I grew up in Commerce Twp Michigan. I visited Canada regularly and, even as crime from Detroit poured across the border into Canada, Canadians always treated us with respect and welcome. I never imagined that would stop but now I find it hard to imagine how it might continue and it breaks my heart.

I have no idea if Prime Minister Trudeau reads any of these comments or if his team does, but as an American, I am ashamed of our current government. We have a narcissist for a leader who is a bad businessman and a puppet of Putin. How refreshing to see a real LEADER who actually cares about his country and not himself. Actually she's isn't wrong if indians start taking over jobs and properties or businesses in canada where will the natives go? It's their country so they have the right to speak up if your presence or actions is hurting them atleast she didn't abuse you she was honest about the problem she and her family might be facing because of indians and indian government should bs ashamed that every year massive amounts of indians abandon their citizenship and settle in other countries spreading like a virus engulfing opportunities that the natives deserved... Put yourself in their place for a second and think...even in india Mumbai used to be peacefull and clean all those beautiful beaches... I am shocked to hear this from a CBC reporter saying IMMIGRANTS get money from the government!! Where on earth did you get this ,outrageous information!! People who apply to come to Canada as legal immigrants , have to go through a strict points system.that can take years . Plus medical and security checks. They have to speak English or French , be educated and most of all have a skill ,trade or profession that Canada needs!as Canada does not have enough highly skilled workers. Like IT professionals, doctors ,engineers, nurses etc. They have to have a job offer .etc etc .They have to have the means to support themselves and their family . It is appalling to hear this nonsense and misinformation. Secondly when talking about refugees the ones who come across the border with no documentation, come on their own and do not fall in the 3 categories you mention? How outrageous are you to say the ones coming in illegally across the border are 1 privately sponsored, 2 government sponsored 3 or mix of both! This sort of wrong , I’ll informed information from CBC Reporter like you that causes racism, you should be ashamed-of yourself to do this outrageous, misleading and wrong information.CBC should apologize and remove this misinformation.

As a resident of Canada living in the GTA, I have to say I've never been more ashamed to live here. Ontario is a great place to live if you're a criminal - petty or organized. There is a degree of corruption here at every level of government and through every regulatory board. We're getting taxed into oblivion.

Welcome to the Communist country of Canada. We have a mentally deranged dictator called Trudeau. Our Prime Minister is a laughing joke among the world leaders. The government of Canada is a joke. The unbelievable lack of any common sense is non-existent. I live in rural Alberta. The hatred for Trudeau is very evident. I was once a proud Canadian. I am now ashamed of what Trudeau has done to this country. He has bankrupted the country which is close to collapsing. He has opened the floodgates to all immigrants mostly Eastern Asians from India and elsewhere. They have brought with them in fighting from their country. There's not enough infrastructure to house or feed these people. The prices of groceries are out of this world. We often see a lack of grocery items in the stores. I have to purchase products online like Amazon. In the province of Alberta, there are no family Drs. to be had. The city of Edmonton has about 6 or 7 Drs. taking new patients. I would not recommend anyone to move to Canada. I would wait until the PC government gets into power and starts to rebuild this country. We need a government that has their feet firmly on the ground.

It’s not just housing and health care. Every aspect of life is in crisis. It is okay if one has a government job else it’s challenging to survive in job market and we are competing with so many students. Most managers like to have these students as they have very limited knowledge about rules and regulations and can easily be taken advantage off. \n\nPeople are leaving North America due to woke culture and both Canada and USA are turning into third world countries. People are ashamed to tell that they live in North America due to lower standard of living. Time to pack up
