I feel this video does cover what's happening but don't answer the question why its happening. Here's what i think- To start with - A major population of indian immigrants in Canada come from two provinces/states - Punjab and Gujarat. From Punjab - Most of the population who migrates to Canada are villagers. They are notoriously famous in Punjab cities as well for creating trouble. They have no civic sense, always getting involved in illegal stuff, some use drugs, no etiquettes, poor hygiene and very arrogant sometimes. Another thing, Canadian government over the years stopped taking in-person interviews and got lenient with rules for gaining a visa especially for students which doesn't make sense and one should be catious so of what kind of people they are letting in their country. This leads to letting in a bunch of wrong people who are already a troublemaker in Punjab and then represents a bad of side of Indians. A side note - Every Indian province is very very different and not all people are same in India. It's definitely a shit situation which shows Canadian government definitely needed a better way to handle immigration. I live about 30 minutes from Brampton. Brampton is the Braman capital of Canada but there are some who would argue Surrey, BC. My cities population is about 110-130k and we have 36-40 Indian food shops. That's not including grocery stores or food trucks.

You do have certain industry groups that disagree, but among the population these reductions have broad support. This is a historic change in public opinion in Canada, but it has been driven by the unprecedented increase in immigration under the last term of the Trudeau government. The previous government increased immigration targets by 3 or 4 times over what they had been for years, which caused a number of economic issues. All through no fault of their own. That is what many people see as unfair, and I agree, however limiting future applications under the program, to bring in less people, that is not controversial. Canada has no responsibility to bring in people who are not already in Canada, but Canada does have some responsibility towards people who uprooted their lives to move to Canada and built new lives here based on promises and representations made to them by the Canadian and Quebecois governments. Why are Canadian universities denying acceptance to Canada's business and engineering programs when these graduates are the ones who could invest in Canada and create enough jobs for Canadians? Why hasn't the Canadian government lowered Canada's age of consent so young women can get married again and have children instead of relying so heavily on immigrants for our population growth? Why is divorce law so punitive in Canada (a lifetime of alimony payments for marriages ending after ten years) discouraging people from getting married? Why does the Canadian government hate Canadians so much and is not reversing the destructive laws of Steven Harper and the conservatives? Is it the goal of the Canadian government to kill us Canadians and replace us all with immigrants who look like Canada's Aboriginal people? If so then why doesn't Canada protect white people from Aboriginal people so that white people can succeed in Canada?

I am Indian (only ethnical not national) who got a job in Canada after doing my engineering degree from Singapore (my country). I chose Canada because it is cold, big and very unpopulated. But now i left because too many competition and no more the peace. I hated populations.

Had fellow college students that have literally told me that they aren't here to learn and are here to just finish the college program to get a job because they would earn more doing any job in Canada than in India. India work market is saturated because of the population and wages are low. The Canadian government use them because they pay triple for schooling that's it. These Indians are racist and don't accept other cultures. They stick to themselves and are on video calls with each other every second of the day including while they're driving and working. Its creating a huge problem in the job market especially getting any minimum wage job. I hope they would go back because they're doing so much damage

Dubai, UAE and other GCC countries are also expanding their populations to grow economy. But they do not grant citizenship to any one. They just grant work visas and kick anyone out who violates local laws or customs. Canada should follow same path.

Canada has population growth problem and government tried solving it by laxing immigration laws. For example Canada can't even build it's own car because it would take massive investment and it won't be profitable because of it's tiny population comparing to other countries therefor making the Canadian economy limited.

Bro I don't get the point. Doesn't Canada allow all religions. This is place is like a gold mine for Indians, but what's the problem with that. It's a free country where every religion is accepted, and Brampton became a hot-spots for Indians. And Brampton has a massive population, of course there are going to be some "bad actors". In places like Caledon and Montreal which have lower indian populations have the same issues. Just because one race has a few bad people doesn't mean all indians are terrible. If the race problem is that big of a issue, move to a different part of Brampton, it's not a small place.

Canada doesn't have a culture to assimilate to anymore though. It was known for its casual hockey and Canadian accent but both are nearly extinct. It's The Library of Babel up in here. Not to mention most white people only have 1 kid or don't want kids at all so it's entire re-population plan is just to go all in on immigration and let white people slowly fade out until there's none left. XD

It ain't an invasion. Canada depends on immigrants to maintain our population. The land who makes up Canada was originally stolen, so as a white Canadian, we have no right to decide where someone else can live. Everyone should be welcomed and supported here, regardless of their race, ethnicity, sex, faith, gender, sexuality, and physical or mental differences. The only People who don't belong in Canada are those who have given in to racism, bigotry, and hate.
