Canada, Us, Aus, Nz they were at a time white colonies. But they aren't any more. That's not changing. Trying to reverse engineer multiculturalism is going to be brutal. Its like they are offended by the results of what they themselves created. I get it , the mind frame of now we have developed these countries and technology has improved, now let's dial this down. I have heard of gulf Arab racism and maybe that's the track these countries are willing to adopt. Who knows but the future appears to be grim unless a way forward of co existing is carved out.

I grew up being told multiculturalism is our strength. Seeing it now as an adult, I can see all its done is created cities that have no actual Canadians, English or our culture. Raised crime, destroyed the housing market, lower the standard of living and quality of life. We need to go back to 1990's Canada and undo all that the last 35 years have done to our once great country.

The only Krispy Kreme location in Mississauga has them all working there. I love their donuts but it’s ruining it for me now. They are literally taking over every business and franchise. I don't even recognize Brampton anymore, used to be more multiculture now it's just dominated by one type of culture. Honestly, not just Brampton, if you go to Markham, you will find that more asian culture is dominating, if you go to North York, you will find more Jewish culture dominating. So there are plus and minus to this. but sad part is people are forgetting Canadian culture in this whole mess. As a Brampton resident, the newer Indians, are giving the good ones a bad reputation. It used to be more multicultural city and immigrants actually assimilated with the customs of, Canada. It’s pretty much 90% Indian now and about half of those don’t show signs of assimilating. Drivers here are so bad man! I’m convinced that a lot of them just pay for it. 😭 Their cuisine is good though, so, I’m grateful for that. 😅

I believe that there needs to be less mass migration and it needs to be more controlled. Multicultural nations historically do not remain stable, think of Yugoslavia or Austria-Hungary, it’s already been shown by how Quebec doesn’t really want to be a part of Canada. The thing is, when you bring up people who faced discrimination and serious problems in their home countries—like not having access to a decent standard of living, proper culture, or good education—it makes everything so much harder for them when they arrive in a new country too.I also want to talk about jobs in Canada, bruh. All the industries seem dominated by specific ethnic groups that have basically taken them over. For example, in construction, you mostly see Spanish or Portuguese crews who only speak their own language on the job. I think, in our (or some people's) pursuit of being a diverse, accepting, and "multicultural" nation, we've actively turned a blind eye to what these individual groups were doing for fear of being labeled discriminatory. Who said multiculturalism is good for Canada?

See the issue with multi culturalism is that “like people” tend to stick with “like people”. It’s human nature… for instance, when I go to school or the break room- I sit with my friends. I interact with, socialize outside of the current setting - because that’s where we are comfortable. Everyone in life chooses to be comfortable, as it’s better. When we mass immigrate (especially from one country) we can’t be surprised that this happens. Of course Indian people do business, socialize, real estate, etc… with other Indian people. It’s what they are comfortable with. I think mass immigration is an awful idea and a culture that doesn’t encourage assimilation and chooses multi culturalism will find that it’ll no longer be multicultural- as the new dominate culture in Canada will be Punjabi.

Integration is key for Canada as a multicultural country to coexist. Immigration needs reforming i.e.no cash jobs whatsoever, intl students will have to intl student fees, no handouts to asylum seekers who aren't from a war torn country. Highschoolers must be given priority in local jobs, it's up to the franchise owners to work their schedules up. It's ok if the cost of the product increases. Good to care for others and look to take care of others who are poor in the area. That's good religious orgs. A community that cares. Obviously more immigrants from the area is a good thing for relations between India - Canada and other SEA countries. Also, Brampton has been able to generate lots of revenue and wealth. In my opinion, if the liberal government stays in power, and more and more liberal voters use the racism card on people who point out these issues just to make themselves feel like a good person, more and more major cities in Canada will be filled of them who either entered as an international student, or as an asylum seeker. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. You know, Brampton even before trudeau was becoming basically little India, and most Canadians just said whatever let them have it, we kinda accepted it. I had a friend visit from the u.s for the very first time, and we did some sight seeing, you know going to places around ontario that tourists would check out, went to niagra falls for the first time in maybe 10 years man it changed. As an immigrant to Canada (in 1982), my family and I integrated into Canadian culture. That is what immigrants used to do. Yes, you can keep aspects of your own culture, but the expectation was that you become Canadians first and foremost. I don't see that with many new immigrants today. They just milk Canada for all it is worth and try to make it a version of their country of origin. I love diversity and multiculturalism, but it has gone way too far IMO.
