It's disheartning to see lack of diversity in many establishment, because the workforce is predominantly indians with a token effort at exclusivity. As far as Pollivere backtracking and supporting immigrants it's because we don't have any real right wing politicians with balls. Every party is liberal. They just pose as opposing parties. Basically they've swapped the old candy and toy prizes in cereal boxes for a citizenship. You can just reach right in and grab your citizenship or better yet cut it out on the back of the box and your good to go. The thing is as well is they shouldn't even call themselves the liberals or democrats. They should call the parties the fake liberal and democrats or wannabe dictator party because they try and pick and choose who has democracy and it's basically the Muslim and Hindu community, LGBTQ, black lives matter, and now the Ukrainian community and their constantly adding new radical groups. But real Canadians have no democracy.

Canada is as broken as an Ubisoft game and its terrible here. i love living in Toronto as its my home city but the quality of life here decreased. our healthcare is messed up that i had to wait 3 months for a therapist so i can start walking again after i had surgery on my leg. by the time one was assigned to me i was already walking and back to normal and didnt need any assistance anymore. also Toronto rather spend 20 mil on renaming a major street to some African name(that has nothing to do with Toronto) for some dumb reason instead of spending that money elseware to improve our medial/housing/food crisis.

Canada is like 3 countries in one, so it really depends where you are, especially if you wish to talk about culture. Im guessing you are in western Canada because that part is one of the youngest parts of Canada, it doesnt have much culture. Tho if you are in central Canada (Ontario) you'll most get a blend of american and english culture. The place where hawaiian and canadian pizza invented. Ontario is obsessed with pizza. \nTho the Eastern part is where Canadian culture is at its strongest AKA French Canada. Thats where most Canadian traditions like the Rigodon music and traditional food comes from such as: Pâté Chinois, Tourtière, Poutine, Donair, Poudigne Chômeur, Tarte au Sucre, Tarte au Fraise et Rhubarb and so on. French Canada even has its own version of french, its so different from the rest of the world that when a when they meet they wont understand half the words each sides say. French Canadian is based on the old french of the French nobility tho it completely disapeared in France during the revolutionary era because everyone that spoke it got executed. So french Canadian is basically a unique language now, i can totally see it getting rename as Canadian the language of Canada in the future especially of the west does indeed seperate.
