To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . It got to the point where it was cheaper for the government to BUY the hotels then rent all the rooms , so that’s what they did … No I’m all for helping people but that is kinda pushing it don’t you think ? There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . We have been in a trade war for the last 2 years with the two largest economies in the world and we need to focus our economic power on thous conflicts at the moment and if the world like it or not fighting that is out top priority and everything else comes second .Even with out that fact Our former government overloaded what our ability’s where capable of handling . We have a pretty advanced social care network but these new folks who have never payed a dime into it and are living off of it for years with the government having no real plan on how to deal with it is just to much , with our with out the economic conflict we are currently in . For example if you went to a shop and burgained on a KG of sugar or bread, or shirt, and didnt get fail to buy because you dont have that much or failed to get a good deal, the Indian shopkeeper would insult any Afriacn in Indian- Luganda accent " oba tayagala genda malala jali..mali ya nyoko?". meaning " If you dont want to buy go, others are there will buy, is this your capital/ stock?". Remember the British stole $44 Trillion from Indians during colonial era. India controlled over a quarter of the world trade before they arrived. The motives of this look racist because when you try hiring white folks the retention rate is extremely low, these past 6 months I have seen 8 employees in managerial positions who quit less than 2 weeks and it's impossible to retain them no matter what salary you offer and then when you go hire an Indian they just don't quit and work harder. I also did a very deep dive into the voters in Canada. At least 4.5 million out of the 8.5 million voted the Carney liberals got in April 2025 were immigrant votes. That’s why Carney and liberals pander to the gigantic Muslim population in Canada. Muslims, Chinese, Indians from India, Ukrainians, Filipinos they all pretty much vote liberal. There weee over 100 Muslim groups that told their Muslim community to only vote for candidates that support Gaza Muslims and Palestinians. How is that not election interference. We know the Chinese directly interfere in our elections by threatening Chinese Canadians to vote liberal or their families in China will be harmed or they will be harmed inside Canada. In June Carney said Muslim values are Canadian values. Either this clown has no idea how radical Islam is or he knows and just panders for votes. Liberal cabinet ministers Anita Anand and Melanie Joly they both openly campaigned saying they must support Palestine because they both have large Muslim populations in their respective ridings. Over half of the liberal voter base is foreign now. I started in 2019 telling the federal conservatives look the liberals are importing new liberal voters. The party needs a strategy to win over the immigrant vote. I proposed hiring a team of individuals from the Muslim community, Chinese community etc to brainstorm on how to get their message across that if your an immigrant your best to vote conservative because the liberals don’t care about them they just want their vote. Show them how they may never own a home, how their kids will be worse off than them. That buy bringing in about 2 million more immigrants a year it is causing inflation and the affordability crisis. I believe if you can show these immigrant communities the truth they may consider voting conservative. Bit of the conservatives refuse to pivot we will never see another federal conservative govt in our lifetimes. It’s not racist it’s the truth. We need a foreign registry act to kick out foreign entities that harass bully and threaten immigrants in Canada to bend the knee or else. If we have 100 Islamic groups telling their community it’s yo only vote one way charge them with election interference. We need electoral reform badly in Canada. We need to end all immigration to Canada for at least 5 years maybe even 10. We need to deport those here illegally. No more fake asylum claims. This country can still be saved but we need immigrants on board to help save it. We need to remove broadcasting licenses of mainstream media networks that lie and bash conservatives. Why, why, why - with all the problems going on in the world right now to tackle - why would you want to start a trade war with your closest trading partner & most loyal ally? I'm a Canadian. I am trying to wrap my head around why a President would start a trade war by imposing tariffs that hurt their allies and hurt his own people..!? I am not an economist nor an investor; However I found it interesting that the immediate result of this as they corresponded about this news is how the markets are taking a major dive. If I wanted to make money off the stock market and had no morals and had the power to cause it to crash, I would make sure it crashed hard by imposing tariffs. Then I would invest as many billions in the key stocks that will come back, and watch my billions turn into 10's or 100's of billions...\nThe other possible explanation could simply be that he wants all the critical minerals from Canada, Greenland, Ukraine for nothing. The irony is USA gets a bargain price on oil from Canada as an allie who always supported USA including supporting USA wars. A close friendship in fact family as many if not most Canadians have relatives that live in the USA. The selling of discounted oil to the USA helps the USA economically and the main reason why the USA buys more from Canada than Canada from USA but then complains they buy too much from Canada. Stop buying the discounted oil then, go buy the oil on the world market at a higher price and problem solved or Canada just raise the price of oil until they buy sufficient amount less that balances the trade. Im Canadian and let me tell you, the hatred for Trudeau was everywhere. And Pierre Polieve was a shoe in. Since Trump started all this trade war stuff, a lot of us are looking at Trudeau differently. Its almost like Trump is doing this to make us Canadians like Trudeau again lol

I don’t like Trudeau. I don’t like the way his country is suffering under his rule - by that I mean the poverty the Canadians are living in whilst he takes expensive vacations and eats 5 star food - and I agree more with the opposition. I also don’t like the black face joke he pulled years ago. But in this instance, against the trump administration, I fully support and agree with what he is saying. This is the stupidest trade war in history. This is going to screw up all countries involved. Stand for democracy!

It takes a lot to piss off a country like Canada, which is saying something. I don't fault the Canadian and Mexican governments for standing up for their people. It's just a damn shame that regular Canadians, Americans, and Mexicans will pay the price of the trade war started by President Trump. Why we're taking aim at our ally nations and not putting tariffs on Russian goods says it all.

As a Canadian Ive disliked Justin for many things hes done to our country, but 100% salute him for this speech he has done today, its heartbreaking to see this trade war happening between our closest neighnours

For anything Canada promised to work with Trump, Trudeau should stop immediately. No need to do anything on the border. Stop that immediately. Canadian should focus full power to fight for this trade war for 4 years .

Can hardly wait until Canada bankrupts the USA. Can we have the Canadian President instead of ours? Both Canada and Mexico responds to the requests and demonstrate they are trying to be our allies and for some reason we still proceed into a trade war. I think there's an aspect of the tariffs where it's a tax that's not called a tax, where there will be reductions in taxes for the wealthy and then these tariffs are added taxes for the general population.

Interesting that I learned lately that in 1812 the brits burned down the white house. Those Brits settled to become Canadians. There were no winners in that war. It started over trade issues.
