Trump has destroyed trust in US allies, and it can ont be repaired easy. Trust can be destroyed in minutes, but it takes many years, maybe decades, before it can be gained again. It affects not only what US experiences right now with Canada and Mexico. Be sure that even Taiwan Australia and all other Asian allies are questioning right now if USA can be trusted. Imagine, Trumps breaks a treaty with Canada and Mexico which he personally has established in his first presidency and sold to his people as the greatest deal that has ever been archieved. Tells you a lot about US credebility. Trump is right now destroing world order which has been established mainly by USA after WW2.\nI heared, that there are rumors, that Trump might be a Russian KGB agent since 1987. I don't know if that is true, but it would explain a lot of why Trump is acting as he does - it is not in the interest of USA, pressurizing/blackmailing/offending/humiliating US allies and destroying US and foreign economies. This is practically enacting a wishlist of foreign dictators like Putin and Xi Chin Ping.\nIt certainly will not make America great again, but poorer, weaker and internationally isolated. it will be US people that will suffer the most.

As a Mexican man, I must say this is the kind of speech I like to hear from a leader. Such a great selection of words, diplomatic and strong at the same time.\n From this side of the continent, the response of Mrs. president Sheinbaum was a little more cautious, at times lukewarm. She said countermeasures will be taken, but they will be announced next Sunday at the Zócalo, the central plaza here in Mexico City, which she asked people to crowd. \n We're definitely living hard times. The only thing I hope is this political hatred does not reflect on the common people when treating their foreign fellows. We are allies, not enemies.

I'm European and I really can't understand how you can make an economic trade war with an ally like Canada, a close and so friendly neighbor.... A dumb decision not only for the W Post... And all of this will end up heavily impacting Americans as well, also because besides Canada there is Mexico, China and the whole of Europe. In such a war there are no winners.... I really hope that the American people understand this and start fighting for this nonsense to end. \nAnd when I then hear President Trudeau called governor.... Well I get even more angry. We the people I am so sick of hearing Trump name everyday and I mean everyday. And we know that we should not be friends with a war criminal. We were taught all our lives that no not is above the law. The FBI and the CIA got our back. The military and the police or the best in the world. And no one is above the law. And even though we were not prefect we was taken maybe baby steps but they were steps. Now we have one party who has soul out to Russia. How do you feel about being friends with Putin.? And now the MAGA party does not want to talk to We the people at town meetings. Even the freaking Russians just came out and said US policy is now aligning with Russias own. theres a detail Mexico's president brought to mind. she mentiones that 75% or 80 % of those people that comein caravans. those people already have a court hearing deadlines.. that makes sense.. alot of those people need to come to the border becuase of the Customs and Border Protection,....

Crazy this people lead our government! President is not king! Congress makes the laws! They are not illegal genius! The majority are in the asylum process, a legal process. They are not illegal until they have a deportation hearing! Stop and Frisk! So, how are 1000% percent tariffs, deporting all the immigrants that pick our products and massive government spending on a wall and deportation is gonna lower inflation, groceries and interest rates. No American is willing to pick fruits for pennies, if they demand 20 an hour, a pound of strawberries or fruit are gonna cost 30 bucks! Seems Trump and GOP had no policies just empty promises! Probably hopping democrats or courts to block the polices so they can say we tried. Like the big beautiful wall Mexico paid for! Wait! If Trump built a wall last time, why we need a new wall! Concepts of a wall like Obamacare! I hope Trump supporters are not on Obamacare care or Welfare- y’all will be forced to work the fields.
