It’s not just a problem unique to Canada. The situation in Japan is the same. Their sense of superiority and entitlement is unbelievably arrogant. They stay in our country illegally, work without authorization, throw trash on the streets, and aggressively and inappropriately approach underage girls in school uniforms. I know several Indians who are professional and kind. But most are rude they run into you. Cut you off while walking and driving. Walmart is the worst now. We had absolutely no problem crossing the border earlier this fall, very professional but polite, I think some Canadians have felt entitled in a very uncertain world. No problem, stay home but we have have certainly been enjoying the warmth and sunshine in Arizona this winter

Personally as an Indian, I really feel bad about it. Unfortunately, we DO go to other countries for a chance at better life and dignity, but a lot us Indians then start to feel privileged and entitled and do not adapt to the culture of the country they are in, and force their own cultures and individual beliefs. I deal with truck drivers all day every day. 99% of the drivers are Indian. Seeing someone white is almost as rare as seeing a woman driving. Some are very nice. Some are very rude and entitled. I dont mind immigration. What I dont like is people thinking their still in India and attempting to change canadian values. We need to slow it down and vet people. I read the comments first before watching the video, and the negativity was strong. So I watched the video expecting to hear the Indians sounding terrible and entitled, and instead it's obvious they're just like every other group of immigrants who ever came before them, including those from Europe. The guy at 9:35 got lots of negative comments, but it's clear that he's the typical inspirational immigrant story, coming here, studying and working hard, and eventually achieving his degree, which brings him a better life in a prosperous country, the exact same thing Europeans came to Ellis Island for 100 years ago. And they also created Irish, Italian, Greek, etc. enclaves withing major cities. Also they say Brampton only had 18,000 people 50 years ago, and are upset that now it has 750,000, and all the growth has been from Indians. So then what's the problem? They didn't even displace anyone, they just moved to an area that was previously a small town on the outskirts of Toronto, and is now a major suburb. That growth of suburbs has happened over the last 50 years in every city in North America, from both domestic and immigrant people choosing to settle there. Did you expect a town that close to Toronto to experience zero growth over 50 years?!! While every other suburban area on the continent grows? If so, then you clearly aren't the brightest bulb.

My grandparents immigrated here from Jamaica and certain groups have made the word immigration annoying and obnoxious now. It’s not even immigration at this point it’s just a full take over and a blatant disrespect for our country. Employers should be aware of SINs before hiring people. I am also an immigrant, but my dad worked hard as a skilled worker to bring us here to Canada. I pay my duly taxes monthly and yearly. So I find it unfair when people work under the table. However, I've noticed that some students, who never attend their classes, end up in high positions with well-paying jobs at big companies. Meanwhile, I can't count how many refugees and immigrants are in low-income brackets, receiving 100% coverage for their medication and a monthly allowance from the government. In contrast, Canadian senior citizens still have to pay 20-30% of their medication costs and don't get the same privileges when it comes to their essentials. It frustrates me that the government makes our senior citizens suffer at retirement age, even after they've worked so hard for so many years. Yet they still struggle to pay for their own medication and necessities. I've encountered many rude refugees and people on income support from other countries who feel entitled to special treatment just because they are under government programs. Ironically, some of them come wearing luxury clothes and bags—like Gucci and Louis Vuitton. As I said, I am an immigrant too, but my heart goes out to those who have fully earned the support and benefits they deserve.

Thank you for showcasing this city. Brampton has long been the armpit of Peel Region, and the cause of many of the rest of our issues. The new entitled migrants that come here spill out into other areas of the GTA (Greater Toronto Area) spreading the crime and loitering, and essentially "taking over" certain places and causing massive issues. Our Car insurance rates in Peel are insanely high, primarily because of Brampton also being a part of Peel, and the high accident and theft rates coming out of that city. We have a massive issue here in Canada with unchecked mass immigration, and we don't see do be doing anything about removing the people who have overstayed their welcome, aswell as an issue with letting the new population move only to the same already developed places, overpopulating those areas that never had the infrastructure to support those numbers of people. Especially the households that are housing more families than just their own, the people who arent citizens that are clogging up our healthcare systems, all the jobs taken up by the Temporary Foreign Worker Program, the lack of openings in universities and colleges because of international students. Its unbelievable how much they take advantage of the system.

The entire province of Ontario is starting to look like Brampton. I live in Guelph and I just quit my job after only 3 months because I had to keep telling my supervisor that I didn't speak Indian!!! Many fled due to the tigers and because India has been trying to destroy their culture for a long while. You wont find Tamel who has lived in Canada more than a year in a gang, or with a thick as lard accent, or speaking their previous language in public. They are good people, very respectful.

I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it. I have watched rerun of trailer park boys about 10 or so times already, watched Corner gas, watch hockey, I have embraced the weather, the people and the values this nation stands for. I have travelled coast to coast and to the great north. Heck I have been to more places in Canada with my job than other Canadians who are born and raised here. The point he missed was the quality of life is higher in Canada, In India it's way easier, the cost of living is way cheaper, there's tons of cheap labour to hire maids for all your house work for example which is common in their culture, but as you've probably seen online, India isn't the cleanest or friendliest place to be, and if he was a nurse in India he would probably be broke without a good job, and having the opportunity to find good high paying jobs in something that Canadians also do when they travel to the US if a position in their field isn't available in whatever local city they grew up in. The main issue stems from international students from like after covid, regardless of country, India is in the spotlight because there's just more indians compared to other countries international students but its all the same stuff, you have kids from all over the world that might not have learned the same cultural practices, fresh 16-18 year olds living alone for the first time that have to do all their own chores and don't even know how to take care of themselves in some cases or do laundry or anything like that and it doesn't mean they were illegal immigrants or anything, just that they never put in the effort to learn because they were too entitled, its the same with entitled kids that go to Korea or Japan from north America as well that don't learn their culture and customs and misbehave because they are too entitled, and once you understand that you can see the bigger picture more clearly instead of just defaulting to racism. Also I'm not saying they can't be frustrated, its frustrating for everyone, even for me but racism isn't the answer.
