finally someone addressed this, i see teenagers aroun my area struggling hard to find low income like simply working at a tim hortons because of the indians

Yes I have found that Indian people here in the Fraser Valley BC are pleasant and friendly at Tim Hortons. However, it's strange that only Indians work at Tim's shouldn't there be a mix of cultures? Unfortunately however, quite a few In dian folks have shared drivers licenses ! Truckers too. That's dangerous. As well some have tried to get In surance money by causing " "accidents" and claimed to be injured. So In dians are definitely good at lying and cheating etc. I find that large statue atrocious and UGLY and does not belong in Canada. Too big and ugly too

Not just brown town in Brampton it’s all over. Worst thing man is they are training ppl in Punjab at the local stores. Train ppl in English or French it’s Canada. I find it ignorant to train ppl in a language that Canadians don’t use. I go into Tim Hortons in a small town and they barely know English. Ask for cream get sugar everytime man. the culture sometimes is rude and short with ppl. Too many apartments and rentals are putting student immigrants first instead of Canada students. If you can't find a local person to work at your fast food restaurant, try increasing the wage, improving work conditions, providing benefits, having a retention bonus, etc Flying someone 10000 km to an urban center to work at Tim Hortons only makes economic sense if you plan to exploit them.

I was born and raised in Brampton (but of South Asian descent via the Caribbean) and it pains me to see how the city has changed over the past 20 years. I was raised to be a proud Canadian and to be grateful for the opportunities that this country has afforded my family and I. I am a Canadian first, and Guyanese/Indian second. The issue I have with the city is that you have enclaves of ethnically homogenous people who refuse to assimilate - I once went into a Tim Hortons at Peter Robertson and Dixie, and was laughed at by the cashiers because I could not speak Hindi/Punjabi (despite being brown). There is nothing wrong with immigration - it makes the country stronger. HOWEVER, that only happens if the immigrants work to collectively advance the interests of the country and accept the rules/societal norms of the country they now call home. Instead, they find ways to circumvent/exploit the system - they are less interested on making society better, and more interested in individual advancement. I live in Professors Lake, which historically was one of the more affluent areas of the city. Now, there are several houses on my street that have essentially become boarding houses, divided into units of four with 10+ people living inside. I fully understand why white Canadians are feeling displaced, and it pains me that anti-immigrant sentiment has soured the way people look at me (despite being born in Canada).

Indians Should Worry About the Future Generations… Because , a Generation left from India 🇮🇳 to look for the Greener Pastures but Ended up , where the New Generation after Being Born and Brought up in Canada is Struggling to Find a Job in the System.. We have so many jobs that only hire immigrants my lil town I can’t even find a job I haven’t graduated and the one’s I can I need my graduate to get one and the jobs like Tim Hortons subway a&w grocery stores dollar store every job here only hire them it’s dumb I’ve been out a job for 3 years and the one’s that don’t hire kid’s cause it’s cheaper and people are starting to not want to live in Canada cause of it than you have prices going up housing going up

I was born and raised in Canada. Been here for 52 years but I won't die here. This ISN'T Canada anymore. My teenage daughter couldn't find her first summer job, she had to work for her grandparents at their house gardening. Every single....no exaggeration...Tim Hortons, fast food place, Walmart....every single business in my town has 95% East Indians who don't even speak English. We can't find a doctor or housing. Our beaches and green spaces are getting dumped on continually by people that don't respect our country. Omg I could go on but why bother....the government doesn't listen.🙄

My son is Canadian born and a college graduate. He was a smart student and very hard working person but until now he couldn't find a job even at Tim Horton. I noticed that a lot of people who are working now are from India. They're the one who are getting experienced and etc.This is not fair to Canadians😢.

I can't find a single minimum-wage job meanwhile every single Tim Hortons and McDonalds around here is full of indians that barely speak English.

They will find it unaffordable here just as those of us born in Canada do. They will be heavily taxed and struggle with their Walmart and Tim Horton's jobs to save enough for a down payment on a house that is only a small bungalow, yet costs half a million dollars. The true problem is the greed of colleges - bringing the wrong kind of international students. Remember - the same India supplies the brightest brains to the USA. Like myself - thousands of high skill STEM field Indians are finding Canada to be the North American ghetto. We had high paying jobs and comfortable life in India - we moved for better value of our taxes and overall high quality of life but we are finding ourselves surrounded by same chaos and much worse healthcare. Many like me pay 100s of thousands in taxes every year in Canada and yet find ourselves on flights to India to seek quick healthcare. Pls bring in healthcare workers and students - not the high schoolers seeking to live on Tim Horton and uber jobs for life.

Yep! Indians have taken over Brampton completely?. The Canadian born children can't even get Tim Hortons jobs coz they have been taken over by International Indian students. Even Canadian born indians can't find a job at a fast food restaurant...what you say to that?? Tim Hortons, Uber delivery, Uber Cabs, Petrol pumps I mean what is going on.\n\nRight now its getting to Canadians, and you need to understand that Canadians need these low skilled jobs for themselves too but employers are finding extremely cheap labour from other places to replace Canadians.\n\nSo if you ask me this move is good, it will surely hurt the skilled labour class too but its needed. Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. Wake up they are making a cast system here.

Boycott Tim Hortons, Indian Restaurants, If you are serious about this…, but I can see spineless Canadian population going there even after this , seeing Young Canadian kids having hard time finding summer jobs.

Every time I go two a job agency that our owned buy indians people they always say we will call you if a job will come up and that happens two me every time I am so feed up of this bull shit my friend. I have been out of work for 5 years and still can't find a job because the imagrants our taking our jobs from the white populations. Every where you go like subway Tim Hortons Wallmart and many other stores our getting jobs over the white population. When is this madness going two stop? I am getting pissed off all the time. I'm an indian and the place i worked hired so lmia from india and laid us off ,these people were running interviews and rejecting Canadians while hiring temporary workers from Canada and india who used to clock 60-80 hours of work in India and here.Companies love slavery and hate worker rights to be frank,they charge clients Canadian rates and pay pennies making huge profits, all the LMIAs are now permanent residents what a joke ,i heard even low paying jobs people on temporary work visa in canada and india pay 30K -50 K to the employers names are tim hortons franchisee ,firehouse sub,subway and every franchisee owned by an indian owner ,he posts the jobs on some yellow pages and tells the government he couldn't find a coffe maker in Canada and there is a queue in India especially punjab and gujarat where people sell their assets and pay for lmia,the next government if they audit lmias and pnp im sure it would be favorable for people who did they hardwork of going thru the right chanel

I had to move my family to live with my parents in the far East, uprooting my kids from their school and neighborhood where they were comfortable. Listen I have nothing against Indians. The problem is this. This is our country. You come here and take our youths jobs, take our housing and healthcare. Also I am going to be very honest at fast food places like Tim Hortons and KFC as I have had these experiences they are rude to women. I am 63 years old and have been smirked at by two young Indians at Tim Hortons because I complained they got my order wrong. Another time at KFC my granddaughter who is 9 asked for something and they treated her rudely she started to cry. We don’t want you here. Go home with your education you get from our country and use it. We don’t need your people here without going through the proper immigration process. I find you are ignorant rude and not nice people. It’s very unfortunate when I go into a restaurant or fast food and feel out of place in my country. Time to end it time to leave stay home we have enough problems. “Limit” to what 2 million? How about remove 90%. High school kids can’t even find work let alone adults. I know people who have applied to Tim hortons or McDonald’s but can’t get hired because of the foreign workers and the subsidies companies get from our government for bringing them in

born and raised in Canada, at 16, 17 my 2 sons were who are honour roll students can’t find part time jobs during summer. meanwhile local mcdonald ,tim horton and other local businesses employs indians that at times shows altitudes.

As a Canadian, I do not find myself or my neighbours resenting immigrants but rather the lack of social planning (housing in particular) that is behind part of this immigration policy. Several new immigrants are leaving Canada within 5 years, finding it too expensive and hard to get ahead, estimates range up to 30%. At the same time many of these new immigrants are the hardest working and doing some of our lowest payed jobs, go in to Tim Horton’s and you will see.
