There is a video on how a Canadian citizen should leave Canada and come back as a refugee new immigrant! It's sickening because the government our tax paying dollars are paying each immigrant $224.00 per day to be housed in hotel room and food etc?! This is wrong as how come ppl like myself awaiting to have my knee replacement surgery I am only getting $1208 per month on disability EIA? I am sorry but I was.born and raised a true Canadian citizen from Wpg Mb Canada, I have never relocated and came back to Canada I have always remained here right from first day I was born! I lived threw our most brutal winters we have ever had and yes I lived it and still and were is my $30000 or should I say $53000, $1000 for each year born and raised here in Canada is what it should be!? These immigrants come here need to learn English language fluently both speak and listen in it as well, they should not become a Canadian citizen legally until they have resided in Canada for a substantial amount of time! A Canadian citizenship status should be earned big time no matter where you came flat out before getting any benefits of any kind and be able to buy and sell homes here too!? I find cab drivers muslems mostly very ignorant and rude talking in their language while on the job behind the wheel must add yes ppl driving you to your destination and not to mention do these.ppl stop to think maybe your clients passengers get annoyed listening to that on their ride to where ever,???? NO NO NO!! YOUR WIFE, MOTHER, FATHER OR CHILDREN WHOMEVER SHOULD NOT BE BOTHERING YOU WHILE YOU ARE ON THE JOB WORKING?! When I go to work as a nurse do you see me talking to my spouse or family members while I am helping my clients eat or bath and get dress, NO WAY YOU WOULD BE FIRED!!? Us Canadian citizens need to stand together and our tax paying money we should have a say in where it should be going not to ppl who are not from our country!?

I am so happy people are starting to speak up. Sadly, I am changing. I am becoming angry. Angry at immigrants and the system. Am I becoming racist? Or just so lost at how things seem so wrong. My main upset is for my teen son. Turned 16 after Christmas. So excited about looking for a part-time job, earning some money, getting experiences and (unbeknownst to him ) expanding his social circle. This excitement came from me. LIke all us Canadians who remember our first part-time jobs (mine was at a McDonalds), I regaled my son in stories of that first part-time job. How much I learned from it, and the so many benefits it would have for me as I got older. He listened, and couldn't wait to turn 16. Also, like most parents, I raised him on the benefits of working hard in school, getting good grades, learning, getting involved, etc. Do these things son, and you will have a good future. He listened. Honours student all his life. Played on school teams. Performed in talent shows, Volunteered his time, etc., etc. Not a bad resume for a first time teen seeking a job. It is now heading into September. He has applied at all the traditional teen job hotspots, (all the fast food joints, grocery stores, drug stores, etc). Dozens of resumes, online and in-person applications. Not a single response. Then I walk into the local Burger King. Not a single Caucasian, Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, or Far Eastern employee. All East Indian (or Pakistani). Suddenly I am really noticing this trend everywhere, especially in the franchise fast food industry; especially upsetting when I even see it in a Harvey's (even more Canadian than Timmies). It's either East Indians or Arabs. I don't know for how long I have been hearing about diversity and fair hiring practices (which I have always supported); but to see this trend makes me furious. Are the owners of these franchise exempt from fair hiring practices? Are they not taught we are a diverse country? This is wrong. I want to finish with two sad situations which we should all be concerned about. When my eldest was looking for part-time work after the pandemic, he walked into a Mr. Submarine. He asked if he could leave his resume or fill out an application. The Arab cashier told him in broken English they were not hiring. As he was walking out, a young Arab man walked in. He approached the same cashier and asked for an application. She gave him one. WTF. My last comment, is the most concerning of all. My 16 year old, who works so hard at school, and at everything he does, recently commented, after yet another non-reply after handing out a slew of resumes, "Dad... what's the use of working so hard if I can't even get a job at McDonalds." I wonder how many other Canadian teens are feeling the same way. Not just white teens. Black, Hispanic, Indigenous and East Asian teens. Seems the broken English East Indian and Arab teens and young adults aren't asking themselves that. How long until my son thinks I am just spewing BS about this hard work thing? This is not about racism. This is about fair hiring practices, especially in more and more franchises; however, I do find myself listening to more and more of these videos, and find myself developing sucb negative feelings towards these two cultures. This is not Canadian. To be thinking this way, especially, is not Canadian. What do we do? Speak up, and we are racist. Stay quiet, and our teen kids move into adulthood without job experience, money put away, or just having a life experience that any of us over 30 (no matter our race) experienced. Something has to change; but I haven't a clue how to do that.

I did not realize, until I read these comments, how many nincompoops we also have in Canada! 1) we are ALL IMMIGRANTS with the First Nations being here first.* * since "time immemorial," a concept referring to First Nations presence on the land long before recorded history. He plays to people’s gripes, whining, and general b*tch*ness. He IS very similar to the blow-hart down south although more literate. 4) There is no possible way he, especially being of like behaviour, could deal with The Felon. He is NOT a negotiator. He is not calm; he’s bombastic. He’s waaaaaaaay to the right, and will trample equal rights for women, and other valued communities. He has no interest in listening to other positions, views, or suggestions. His way or the highway. Again like the Fascist down south. 4) Our provincial leaders (except a few traitors to Canada’s sovereignty) are behind the extremely difficult work Carney is doing for our country. 67% of Canadians are cheering him on, including the Conservative playground scrapper, Doug Ford, plus Stephen Harper. So, put your bile on hold and support the positive. We’re in a really difficult, daily changing, coming at us from all sides, battle with the POS south of us. Carney is giving it his all. Can’t imagine he gets much sleep. How ‘bout break with the party-love, and have some respect for someone working so hard. Fighting for YOU! ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Canada's mistake was listening to the US the first time. The US doesnt do enough to protect its people from drugs smuggled north and yet it blames its neighbors non-stop.

As an NRI for a decade in Germany, I can assure you that not a single person in the developed western world looks at India with a nicer opinion. They think of it as a necessary baggage. They will only allow Visa on Arrival/E-Visa for people whom they respect and would like to be in the country. While I do not want to get into how some Indians behave when they are on their EU trip, Indians in India do not behave well too. This involves hygiene, roads, infrastructure, intelligence, corruption, etc. Indians tend to look at the Indian flag with tears in their eyes while listening to A.R. Rahman’s “Vande Mataram” with Bharat Bala’s video. But the reality in the western world is this: India is a loud, messy, unhygienic, poorly organized country filled with corruption and crime everywhere. Now, why would a well-developed country open their doors to potentially unruly 1.4 billion people? The reason for visa rejection is that a lot of them simply apply for a tourist visa and never leave. If someone really needs to travel, they will have the money and the motivation to apply multiple times. Hence, the first check with multiple layers of bureaucracy.

Doing the opposite causes friction and even arguments where customers explicitly say: “Please don’t talk over me, listen to me first.”\nPutting myself in the shoes of a hiring manager who is culturally Canadian, knowing that Canadians are very risk averse and kept to themselves: Why would I stir the pot in the workplace by bringing in a foreign worker who may have internalized habits that are seen as rude and abrupt?\nIt’s not only about English skills, degrees, who does things faster, etc., but cultural awareness. If you don’t take the time to learn about the culture of the place you are migrating to and/or expect that locals welcome habits that could be perceived as rude and shocking to most Canadians, you are going to limit your network to only people in your cultural group - which will definitely hinder opportunities for growth. Don’t make the mistake of assuming that everybody thinks and acts the same as you do.

CANADA FIRST!!. JT has been screwing CANADIANS for years and won't stop until 2025. You came here on a VISA, not permanent residency, hopefully enjoyed it but now it's time to go back home. Our sad government has finally realized there is not enough even for Canadians and actually listening to us for once!! We are not sorry you have to leave and we do not owe you anything!!!! Allow a 75 year old to advise you. 1. Listen to advice. At 33 we have often had a lot of experience and therefore confidence. However developing perspective that is really relevant takes a long time. 2. I notice some people who are commenting recommend Malaysia. They are correct.\nProbably at your age the digital nomad visa is easiest in the first instance. 3. I am familiar with Canada, US, and several other countries. I am Australian and have been retired in north Thailand for 16 years. Am happy here but will be moving to Malaysia shortly. 4. Space does not allow me to list all the reasons for giving you this advice. Understand that if you live there, moving on to Singapore for a more dynamic business environment. 5. The downside for you may be the full-time hot and humid weather. In addition the dating scene may be unsatisfactory, at least initially. I started this comment before I realised you had already selected a country, but am sending it anyway. It is unlikely you will want y ask me anything, but feel free if you do. Best wishes.

Poland has taken more than 1000 times the number of refugees that Qatar took last year. The majority of muslim countries don't want to accept refugees but when Poles say: It is the hybrid war created by Belarusian and Russian regime against the West and people are used like a tool by them and we shouldn't help them doing that, nobody listens. Don't come to Polish border illegally through Belarus, please. You will encounter forests with swamps and wild animals in the summer and -40 degrees Celsius in the winter. It's certain death. Escape to the safe country first and do it legally through the embassy or consulate.

Thank you. I felt so good listening to you both. I have been in Canada since 1974, I was 9 when I came here. I've got an engineering degree fron UBC. Went back to Punjab India first time after 28 years in 2002. I felt at home soon as I got out of the Airport. Since then I've never felt Canada as my home and what makes it worse is that overall Canada is spiraling in a downward direction. The medical system, the immigration system, the housing affordability, the future of our children and grandchildren, to promote and force children into lgbtq community and on and on is just getting worse. Hopefully I'll be out of here in the next two years. Thank you again and very best of luck. You made the right decision!

Listened to your vlog and I want to suggest few things as an immigrant myself... I am not sure of your detials but seems like your husband came back after 2 months leaving you there with family.. I have rarely seen any family settling abroad unless they have seriously burnt all there bridges back home.. if you start with a mindset that let's go and see and if doesn't work out we will come back 90% odds are you will go back.. firstly come with absolutely clear mind that no matter what happens you are not going back.. and you will make it here no matter what. The journey will become much easier and one directional.. Secondly you do not have to rely on any family abroad to move.. this is an other mistake people make.. they think they will have support but this support is actually a limiting option ... it doesn't let you get on feet quicker. Nobody can support you for long abroad and sooner than later you have to get on your feet. once you over stay your welcome you can start getting some unwelcoming vibes and then you get depressed thinking there is no one genuinely yours in this country.. you waste your initial time relying on your family.. better start without them in the first place and get going from day one.. and lastly 2 3 months is nothing to settle any where let alone in Canada.. you have to be patient, persistent and focused and after 2 years and after seeing all the calendar and religious seasons twice, you finally start to think of new place as your home.. its hard but in the end it's truly worth it and then you can never go back to India or Pakistan

Listen... I'm all for helping out fellow human beings but it seems this person was blocking her way which you can see, and she explains that this isn't the first time he's done that! The fact he spoke to her in Indian just shows he is not culturally appropriated to our language or even laws for that matter! Never mind the fact he has packed up and moved his kids and wife assuming! We as long term citizens of our country need to tell our governments we need to focus on our own issues and not just let all these people in! Plus I looked up how much it was to study in India and let me say - it's a whole lot cheaper than it is in Canada, USA or Brittain as far as I'm concerned THEY are receiving money from outside sources to Spy and send info to others covertly! You're not correct about the Quebec government banning the hijab - actually they ban all forms of religious expression in clothes worn at work by public servants - so don't criticize us unless you get the facts straight. All countries are facing public health crisis especially in the aftermath of a global pandemic, you mention how long it could take to get an MRI - weeks/months, but it's no worse than in the UK, or other western countries. I do agree with you about limited competition in banking and tech - but we're still a young and growing country, however, look at the global recession that took place in 2007 - Canada was least affected by mortgage default, the US was hit the worst and hundreds of thousands had their homes foreclosed by the Banks, yet in Canada because of our strict banking policies we were saved and the Banks worked with defaulters to try to keep their homes. Taxes, well most countries require you to file your own taxes at the end of the year - what's so strange about that? Yes sales tax is added onto the sales price depending on what province and what you are purchasing, same as US, just because it's not the same in Europe doesn't mean it's worse! Listen, when you're a newcomer to any country you need to fit in when looking for a job, put in the effort, take the time, do the work, any country is going to expect you to be able to speak the language and know the lingo, so I don't agree with your analysis that Canadians are risk adverse! You are 100% correct about the housing crisis, listen it's been going on everywhere for decades, and international investors in the past 10 years or so woke up and noticed that Canada was a great bet for investment, so the problem got really bad. The government just passed a 2 year moratorium on non Canadians buying real estate - as have many other countries, so fingers crossed no more new foreign landlords just regular Canadians buying their first homes, let's hope so!! I've lived many years in Europe - and I loved it! But the quality of life in Canada is better. If you don't live in the crowded city you can have a nice property with lots of space, good roads, not bad school system, very friendly and helpful people. Quebec has some of the best food on the North American continent, we have clean air and lots of water in Canada - I'm very happy here, so don't be so negative please!

I'm from Quebec and i love every Provinces, in 2017 i did a roadtrip to BC and when you see Canada for the first time by road it's just amazing to see how big Canada is: Canola field, Bison, endless horizon, mountains, blue lakes, awesome people from coast to coast, salty water smell when your near the sea of coastal province, beautiful roads apart from Quebec just kidding but not really....My friend and i stop at a A&W in Saskatchewan on Transcanadian Hwy and next to our seat was a group of farmer just relaxing and talking about their day and we would have love to just pay them a drink or something to just listen to their story what they have to say but we were a bit to shy because of the french accent and didn't want to bother them! For me every Provinces of Canada are the best no need for TOP10.

Listen to sum it up…..\n\n1. be prepared to work for Uber, McDonalds, bars, security, food delivery and gas stations until you find a job in your field. Usually takes around 1.5 to 2 years. \n2. The government assistance won’t even pay for your rent. Come with at least a 30-40K USD savings, you just can’t live your first year without this.\n3. It really helps you if you and your spouse are well educated and work ready. Having kids help too. You all can lean on eachother.\n4. Be prepared for some super lonely time. You will not be flying around for quite some time.
