Trudeau is speaking truth to power, and he is clear as glass that this mindless alienation of Canada is going to rebound on Americans. Teudeau is a REAL LEADER. Unlike one in Australia. Every Aussie PM cows down and boot licks for Yankeeland. Neither major party could ever really stand up to Trump the Dumb Dump if he hurt our economy. Limp lettuce government that is so America dominated down under, where I live.

Am I the only one thinking that we had a good PM, and media really manipulated popular opinion as to which he had to stand down? i mean look at what is going on down south, when emotions are allowed to rule? Trudeau wasn't doing anything wrong, he just go chopped for nothing... sad

President Trump and you need to work it all out. As far as blanket tariffs go, I do agree that your goods and services, including tariffs should be mutually broken down to create benefits for all. Part of my lineage is from Quebec, and here USA. We all need to help each other. Laser focus to arrest and put in prison all drug terrorists should be everyone's focus. The wars elsewhere are sidetracking the two of you from standing side by side with one another, as you mention you usually do. Two friends, two parallel united goals, yet I do agree, again, that you said an enemy would rather divide you two than to see you both Triumph over evil! So PM Trudeau, get on the phone with President Donald, and the two of you tackle it out, include a .PPT write-up with solutions that both of you know is good overall, both instant, immediate and longer term. May God's Holy Hands be upon you and surround you, with the love of my Savior, Christ Jesus! Thank you! I love you all.

PM Trudeau, not everyone wanted Trump and not everyone stands behind everything that is going on. Some of us see what is actually going on and our hearts break because of all of this.

GO PM Trudeau! We are in dire straights here in the US and need you to do whatever you need to in order to help us! STAND UP TO THE BULLY! And, please know, the citizens of the US (at least half of us, likely more) DO NOT want this trade war! God help us!

There's many reasons not to like Trudeau up here in Canada, many of which are the reason he'll (rightfully) no longer be the PM next week. As a conservative I hated him for SNC-Lavalin (among other scandals), and the fact that his inexperience with the economy Harper left him is probably part of why this trade war is going to hurt more than it could have, and the fact that he's often been kind of a phony more concerned with looking and sounding good for the press cameras. Not this time. Nothing phony here; I've got to give credit to him for capturing the national mood pretty much perfectly with this speech. Good on him. \n\nAnd congratulations as well to Donald for pretty much handing the Liberals their best shot at a fourth term, too. What an absolute idiot. Normally I'd turn my nose up at having to vote Liberal, but I am so, so sick of the brand of empty populism Trump stands for that it looks like that's what I'm gonna be doing come election time.

Well done, PM Trudeau. You made us proud as Canadians. You said it like it is. Donald, and I noticed you refrained from calling him President Trump because he is certainly not acting like a president, Donald is siding with our enemies, snuggling up to a malicious dictator rather than taking a stand for right and for the common good. He has absolutely no reason to impose tariffs and is actually breaking legal agreements to do so, but we all know that Trump believes he is above the law. If you like this speech, go and listen to Premier Ford of Ontario as he threatens to tariff all the energy which flows into the States or even just cut it off. Nobody wins in this war, certainly not Americans. But Elon and Donald don't care. They are filthy rich and will just plan chaos and world domination in their sandbox while everyone else in the USA takes the hit.

PM Trudeau has gained my respect. Way to go standing up to a unstable, orange hued, bully.
