My cousin came to canada under a 1 year work visa,, shes white french woman.. Speaks 5 languages, has 3 degrees, ran a business in France.. she landed here 1 years ago,, had to spend 400$ to prove she speaks ENGLISH, (she speaks it fluently),, she paid taxes the moment she landed and got a job, bought a car, a small apartment. Everything Canadian,, not like these degenerate scum sucking immigrants. Had to spend another 500$ to extend her visa for another year.. Everything was going well. Until these worthless liberal cockroaches knocks on her door and told her she has 1 month to leave, because shes taking a JOB away from a CANADIAN!!!.. Are you fuckin kidding me.. These worthless ungrateful, self serving pakis, indies and chinese and who knows what else we let in, are getting subsidies to work at tim hortons,, Walmart,, canadaian tires.. Meanwhile our real Canadian kids can't get summer jobs or part times,, because of these worthless immigrants. Shes corporate, she doesn't take small coffee serving jobs..

as a canadian, i couldn't get a job for almost a year while most jobs are taken by indians. go to any walmart, tim hortons or a&w, there is not a single white person working.

I went through a drive thru in Weyburn Saskatchewan and almost shit my pants when I seen (1) white guy working there, 99% Indian in the smack dab middle of the country, and it’s like this everywhere. Have heard half a dozen times from separate ppl that they were asked if they spoke Hindi or Punjabi to work at Tim Hortons because “all the staff spoke it” they take our jobs because they accept lower wages. I’m just fatigued, it just sucks because I know the vast majority of Indians before 2020 were actually nice and adaptable decently well. Now when you go out to eat or buy groceries you don’t even get a “have a nice day” which is a Canadian custom IMO. Most of the time besides the transaction details, they will not speak to you.

Not just brown town in Brampton it’s all over. Worst thing man is they are training ppl in Punjab at the local stores. Train ppl in English or French it’s Canada. I find it ignorant to train ppl in a language that Canadians don’t use. I go into Tim Hortons in a small town and they barely know English. Ask for cream get sugar everytime man. the culture sometimes is rude and short with ppl. Too many apartments and rentals are putting student immigrants first instead of Canada students. They undercut job prices safety is absent. We are getting outnumbered when we have paid into the system out whole lives. Saw videos where they are encouraged to go to food banks and get free food. They’ve done nothing but ruin Canada as they never wanted to become Canadians or accept our culture and beliefs. I'm surprised no liberal voters are calling this dude a "racist" because it involves Indians. He is literally interviewing both sides of this issue. In my opinion, if the liberal government stays in power, and more and more liberal voters use the racism card on people who point out these issues just to make themselves feel like a good person, more and more major cities in Canada will be filled of them who either entered as an international student, or as an asylum seeker. It is not "multiculturalism" or "diversity" if there is only people from one culture coming to Canada? Where are the people from countries like Italy? Germany? Ukraine? Mexico? It is not racist to point out how in very few homes, most notably in Brampton, around 7 or more people live in one house. It is not racist to point out how these Indians need to learn to write and speak proper English. It is not racist to point out how they need to adapt to our civilized way of life here in Canada. It is not racist to point out the rise in crime done by people of Indian descent. It is not racist to point out how, coincidentally, the quality in Tim Hortons has dropped lately, when in a majority of them have workers of Indian descent, which are usually in major cities. How so? The liberal-imposed foreign worker plan, plus a little bit of corporate greed. It is not racist to point out that Indian "international students" are getting their food from food banks, which are supposed to be for the poor, and how some places of work only hire Indians, because they are run by Indians. Why is this discussion even about Indians? Because they make up HUGE majority of people coming to live in Canada. Matter of fact, this does not apply to Indians coming to Canada, but to whoever goes to live in another country. It does not take much out of you to at least adapt to the way of life in which ever country you go to. The conservative party sees this in a way that the liberals do not. Come back to this comment in another 10-20 years when the liberals are still in power. You'll see the difference.

I am First Nations and I have been concerned about how the face and language of Canada has changed. The first thing we noticed in our small town was that the taxi companies were taken over by East Indians. Now days you are hard pressed to get a taxi anywhere in Canada and get a driver who hails from India. I used to like Tim Horton's until I needed an interpreter to make my order, one doesn't speak English so, she had to get another worker to take my order. You go into any 7/11 or any gas station, or convenience store. All are staffed by people from India. But, it isn't just Indians. There are many other immigrants coming to Canada from China, Japan etc. None of these immigrants do not speak very good English. I have faced prejudice from these people who do not recognize my rights as an indigenous person. Going for an xray, blood test the field is mostly Asian. I have to get cataract surgery and I couldn't understand the Chinese receptionist and had to spell most of what I said to her. That means their business is mostly with Chinese-speaking people. As a First Nations person my status will always be a minority. With every immigrant that comes to Canada my status as an indigenous person diminishes. Taking transit shows me that english or french are ever spoken. Canadians are the new minority.

I was born and raised in Canada. Been here for 52 years but I won't die here. This ISN'T Canada anymore. My teenage daughter couldn't find her first summer job, she had to work for her grandparents at their house gardening. Every single....no exaggeration...Tim Hortons, fast food place, Walmart....every single business in my town has 95% East Indians who don't even speak English. We can't find a doctor or housing. Our beaches and green spaces are getting dumped on continually by people that don't respect our country. Omg I could go on but why bother....the government doesn't listen.🙄

Lets keep i real. The desire that most immigrants have is homeostasis which is the familiar. All humans do this. Individually indians are usually smart and decent people. But in groups ( and this doesnt just include indians) you get this group thinking that is prejudice against anyone who isnt one of their own. Im fairly certain its a good demonstration of what a different culture would experience in their own country. Its that same inclusives mentality that keep the government corruption very small which empowers the citizens to make them successful and able to contribute more back into this system. The very nature of hoarding resources for ones family, same culture, etc are the same oppressive situations many of these people left their countries to seek better opportunities. But once given those opportunities and a chance to decide for themselves, a lot of these people use their liberties to create exclusion and hostility toward out groups. The indians do this in a very overt in your face way, the chinese are more polite about it but both have this way of looking out for their own and not being concerned with anyone else. As far as im conerned you should all be split up and dispersered to live in different provinces and cites. I know this isnt realitic but it would save them from what a lot of them are gunna end up be exposed to which is experiences with native born Canadians who are going to very rudly show you what happens when you disrespectf someone in their own home. \n\nThe party is over. Its simple. Indians are disrespectful, get into positions where they can hire and only hire there own. They hate western people but will be nice to your face. Canadian's are forced out there apartments, then they rent them at a higher price to people from India they get more for rent. We don't see anyone from other countries living on the streets it's Canadians who built this country . And full disclaimer I live in Victoria, BC so I can share my POV from the Canadian side:\n\nThere's toomuch of low skilled cheap labour coming in from Punjab and other countries like Nigeria, Philippines, etc. Its gotten sooo bad now that even Indians living in Canada are feeling like this is not what we came for.\n\nI can't even start with how bad the immigration has gotten, people can barely and I mean barely speak English and they are working for all possible low skilled jobs. Tim Hortons, Uber delivery, Uber Cabs, Petrol pumps I mean what is going on.\n\nRight now its getting to Canadians, and you need to understand that Canadians need these low skilled jobs for themselves too but employers are finding extremely cheap labour from other places to replace Canadians.\n\nSo if you ask me this move is good, it will surely hurt the skilled labour class too but its needed. Imagine have a million immigrants coming in with a country that has a population of 40 million.\n\nThe infrastructure comes to a stand still, housing is ruined, food inflation begins. \n\nHonestly thanks to Diploma mills, Asylum seekers and gangs from Punjab, its honestly gotten bad from the Indian perspective. Now add to this others coming in from Africa and South East Asia and you can see this country get worse honestly.\n\nThis isn't hate against anyone, its just facts.

How many part-time jobs do they expect these people to work to pay for rent? Finding a full-time job is almost impossible. Coming to Canada exspecting the country to look after them? The companies take hours away from their employees and create another part-time position, then gets a bonus from the government as part of the new employee wages are paid. Same hours for the company but paying less wages and keeping the profits. Who is does this benefit? Not the workers that then need another part-time job to feed their kids. Filling up schools with people who do not met the education requirements with bogus paperwork. Who are then forced to attend a strip mall schools. Are their diplomas even valid? No proper place to live and using foodbanks. Anyone with this paperwork should be refused at airport not supported. Most are coming from counties that have schools. Because really would you want them managing your money, running the country or are they going to work at Tim Hortons? No wait their fellow countrymen will then use them in scams. Wake up they are making a cast system here.

On my LinkedIn I get people from all over the world who want to come, from Europeans to Brazilians and all these people contact me looking for opportunities. Our gov't prioritized low wage workers who they can practically enslave with minimum wage short term then turn around and kick them out.\n\nThis is the most egregious thing I've ever seen and they do it the most Canadian way too, with a smile and popish attitude. \n\nAll these Walmart, Tim Hortons, basically all these service jobs should be going to locals and locals ONLY! I've never seen an indian eating from Tim Hortons but 100% of the people who work there are indian. Why? because they're working in slave labor.

Hello Sir, with due respect: i am an international student from INDIA, you are always welcome to stay in any of the 30 provinces in India! My question to you is, if an International student is spending 7000 cad each semester and completing a 2 yr program with total fee paid 28000 to 35000 CAD excluding the exorbitant rent like 1500 per month and grocery and personal tax, would definitely wish to get back some of the money they invested here in Canadian land, am i right? Would you be thinking the same way if you invest in India? Secondly, none of the employers are offering any white collar job or office job to these students unless otherwise they have Permanent Residency status here in Canada: the only way to get “PR” is to work for some pizza store or tim hortons- its not by choice, only jobs you have here in Canada for any students and now construction field too. So kindly don’t judge any international student from any part of the world on their skills. All we need is a way out by Planning our future. Lots of comments are on these kids: just imagine on a sports day or a national holiday or on a stormy day who will be serving you a double double? Who will do Uber… Please dont hate, just like any human we would love to be respected and we are not going to take back anything from Canada. Thank you

Charity starts at home before you start bringing in all these foreign workers why don't you fix what's broken in your backyard like the homelessness here ,it's not the poor people here that are starting the problems it's the foreigners I've experienced it as an elderly person I can't even get a crappy job at Tim Hortons because those are all outsourced to foreign workers. This should have been done years ago we have far to many people staying over their expired visa’s or vacation, migrants refugees, accepting asylum seekers etc, we must concentrate on our own citizens they need work young people need jobs, our governments have allowed segregation and it should not have happened now we have ethinic groups creating cities within cities , kids can’t get summer jobs nor weekend jobs or jobs after school no one will hire a Caucasian person it gets harder and harder everyday ho to Tim Hortons, McDonald’s, food basics , Lo laws, Metro etc, go to hospitals , other places like the hospitality industry, walk in clinics pharmacies go to any strip mall in any one of them it’s hard to find a Caucasian person working in bc any of the small store or grocery stores or pizza places hair dressers barbers ? my hid the list goes on if you take note of what’s happening in the United Kingdom ?? and some European countries and even in the states we are not to far away from such disasters we are not immune to them I fir one just dread going outside now with the gun and knife violence it’s horrible ,

My name is Jamie, every time you go for a job at gas station they never hire no body else but Indians. I was born in this country and have never had this problem back in the 90s. Every time I go two a job agency that our owned buy indians people they always say we will call you if a job will come up and that happens two me every time I am so feed up of this bull shit my friend. I have been out of work for 5 years and still can't find a job because the imagrants our taking our jobs from the white populations. Every where you go like subway Tim Hortons Wallmart and many other stores our getting jobs over the white population. When is this madness going two stop? I am getting pissed off all the time. What is going on with all these E.Indians that working all over stores , coffee shops here in Vancouver . You don’t see one person in any coffee shop like Tim Hortons just Indians ?! Im mad because Im young and want to go to school but cant work because of post graduate immigrants taking low skill jobs (Fast Food, Retail,). Its petty to come to another country, complete your studies and with your work permit work for minimum wage at tim hortons. Nobody my age can get a functional job just from applying. This is why when I am old enough to immigrate myself, i will attempt to immigrate to california (due to film industry and love for the state) and stay in my working field and leave the jobs there for the youth).

At the least, international students should not be allowed to work here. If they really came to study in Canada, thry better study and do not go to Food banks and collect free ration or work in Tim Hortons to make money. If they came to canada as students it means they hail from filthy-rich families otherwise how can they afford? If it is so, why do they have to work here? Local students are not getting jobs. Especially, PNJBS & other INDNS have become a MENCE to canadian economy.

i have a few bad experiences with east indians ( pls. note am not hating, just expressing my dissapointment.\n1) i went to Tim Horton with my 2 other friends and ordered coffe, we waited 5 minutes one of my friend got his coffee after 5 mins.\nmy other friend 8 mins. and already at this moment they're giving coffees from people who were behind us... which is east indians - 10 mins. i still didn't get my coffee and i asked them twice about my order and these people behind me were already enjoying their coffee...i finally got my coffee when my friends almost done with theirs.\nI barely go to Tim Hortons anymore.\n2) Domo gas station - i asked for premium and the served me regular gas ?\ni don't know if the're paying attention to their job or just intentionally doung it.

What's not being addressed is how temporary foreign workers were once relegated to to agricultural and fisheries work but are working for many exploitive employers who care about nothing more than having the lowest payroll, mainly fast-food and retail. These are entry-level jobs that many Canadians needed to survive but are being undercut by foreign cheap labor. These jobs used to pay the bills. \n\nGlobal News only showing agricultural workers and not Subway and Tim Hortons franchises shows what side of the issue Global News is on. It makes you wonder who has voting control of Corus Entertainment, probably the same investors who own many Subway and Tim Hortons locations. \n\nChrystia Freeland saying they will tie the Temporary Foreign Workers eligibility to the unemployment rate of an area still does not address how those jobs do not cover basic living expenses of Canadian citizens. Minimum wage will never go up like this but every possible expense will skyrocket to gouge the public so every corporation will cover their finances except private citizens, unless its one of the citizens destroying the country to cover their willy-nilly investments. \n\nThe young and the poor (now the majority of Canadians) aren't asking for thriving wages, cause that ship has sailed, just to be respected enough to be paid a living wage. The moment i get out the house only Indian I see i go to tims, bus, train, gasoline station, park it’s too much INDIAN and some have this unpleasant smell i need to see other cultural and ethnic. I thought canada is a multicultural?

I am an Indian and I am disgusted to see what fellow Indians have done to Canada! They come here with their total lack of civic sense! I was born and raised in Calcutta as we navigated daily through filth and dirt on the streets - not only because of the poor on the street - but bec of everyone else who walks around and thinks nothing of throwing their garbage on the streets, spitting and blowing their noses on the streets and even in buildings - stairway landings, or peeing in the open - in public spaces or against building walls, etc.. Narcissistic, selfish drivers who cut people off, break the traffic rules, grab parking spots, etc.. They come here and make every effort to Indianize Canada - to make this into India instead of respecting this country that has generously and (ignorantly!!) allowed them in!! If they want to live their Indian culture in an 'Indian environment' - then for goodness sake - GO BACK TO INDIA and clean up that country your call your 'matri bhoomi' - your Mother!! The presenter is right - Indians (and Sri Lankans, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis too included here - all with the same mentality!) have dragged down the customer service experience in stores and restaurants. Indians are usually polite but they are not good at maintaining a high standard of customer service! Employees in Walmart, Costco, Tim Hortons (especially!), etc., are seen standing around, chatting with each other in their Indian languages instead of being professionally attentive to customers. The shopping experience is not pleasant like it was 25 years ago!! Your remarks are not harsh and Indians NEED to take it personally and be embarrassed into doing the necessary to make the changes they need to. We immigrated to Canada not to come to 'another India' - we came to Canada and would like to live in this country to appreciate it's uniqueness and contribute to maintaining it the way it has been! The presenter has done a good job with this video. Very fair. Indians need to have some self respect and like you said - see themselves as ambassadors of India abroad and present themselves with dignity worthy of respect!! Listen I have nothing against Indians. The problem is this. This is our country. You come here and take our youths jobs, take our housing and healthcare. Also I am going to be very honest at fast food places like Tim Hortons and KFC as I have had these experiences they are rude to women. I am 63 years old and have been smirked at by two young Indians at Tim Hortons because I complained they got my order wrong. Another time at KFC my granddaughter who is 9 asked for something and they treated her rudely she started to cry. We don’t want you here. Go home with your education you get from our country and use it. We don’t need your people here without going through the proper immigration process. I find you are ignorant rude and not nice people. It’s very unfortunate when I go into a restaurant or fast food and feel out of place in my country. Time to end it time to leave stay home we have enough problems. I was born in Canada in the 80s. My parents are from India. So call me racist if it gets you off. My ass is browner than yours probably. \nMy parents, and my uncles and aunts who came here in the late 1970s had to work their asses off to prove they were worthy of even ENTERING Canada, let alone to live in the country. ALL of my older male relatives who came to Canada at that time had a PhD in a science related field or was a medical doctor. EVEN then, they had to go through years of re-training in Canadian schools in order to have a shot at PR. And they persevered and did it, and did well. \nNow, anyone and their dog is allowed in, and it's kind of an insult to all my relatives had to accomplish in order to build a life here. They had to earn doctorates and medical degrees TWICE (once in India and again in Canada).\nWell, that generation did well, and now we're the kids who are grateful and enjoying the sacrifice they put in. What will the kids of illiterate, minimum wage workers be like? Probably not so good.\nCanada's probably done. But does the average Canadian have any desire to do anything. Nope. They used to value hard work and ambition when I was growing up but Canadian culture has become lack of ambition, and entitlements just for existing. \nSo, at least I was raised with the idea of working to no end and sacrificing in order to accomplish something in life. Now, I have the resources to live where I like and do. Canada's just a place I visit now if I feel like it.\nThose of you who like to sit at Tim Horton's every weekend with your beer and weed every night complaining about how your employer should pay you more obesity privileges, enjoy being served by the migrants who WILL take over as you approach the counter in your government funded scooter. I am not sure its related to indian immigrants but i am getting lot of local scam.calls from indian, well at least they have indian accents.\n\nAnd i stop going to Tim Hortons because of sanity issue. We need educate these immigrants.

As a Canadian, I do not find myself or my neighbours resenting immigrants but rather the lack of social planning (housing in particular) that is behind part of this immigration policy. Several new immigrants are leaving Canada within 5 years, finding it too expensive and hard to get ahead, estimates range up to 30%. At the same time many of these new immigrants are the hardest working and doing some of our lowest payed jobs, go in to Tim Horton’s and you will see.

Look at NS, we have a conservative premier Tim Houston. He loves immigration. NS has a large amount of colleges though. Dal AC, CBU, Acadia, St FX are just the biggest culprits. I was called racist and threatened with a box-cutter when I worked at the NSLC by a muslim because he didn't have ID. He put me on facetime live while doing it, so I have witnesses. If you go to Halifax and Truro, you'll definitely get some good content.

Tim hortans huh let me tell u one thing the government forced us to do such jobs they want the immigrants to work basic level jobs to get PR. How about that u do some research and check the points system anyone with a good job who is contributing towards the growth of the country would be held under the pressure of points system and would be forced to do jobs which has lower crs points or go to provinces like this which don’t have enough jobs to support our qualifications. U so called born here Canadians don’t understand the pain we go through just because of these unstable policies of the government. I myself cannot do my desired job . Immigration can be good but it has been the ruin of Canada in years. I had to spend 150k more for my home. I can't go see a doctor for 3.5 months with an appointment. Emergency rooms are a disaster and the traffic in downtown is horrific. I don't care about getting my Amazon package half a day sooner, I don't get Tim Hortons often and I'm certainly not ordering food with some random guy coming to my home who demands I give him a five star rating.

Those people need to be told about somewhere else not just that area! They're taking all the jobs in that place ?! No one is able to get work if you're not Indian! Most of the Indians who work in Tim Hortons are family members of the owner, and there is nothing wrong with that, they keep the money in the family, and Indo-Canadians work there asses off. And not to mention Indian students pay a lot more money to goto school here in Canada and they become succcesfull. Get you facts right go out there and talks to some of these workers.
