By your logic, you probably live in a crack den, surviving on canned beans and food I wouldn’t even feed my farm animals, doped up on speed, living the American dream? I should make a video showing Tyler Oliveira’s homeland and cut to montages of Kensington, Philadelphia, Skidrow, and all those poor homeless communities you visit and antagonize for views and money. I should show all the weirdos that you know wander the streets of the country you call home, hurting and killing people in the name of beef or some ridiculously moronic bullshit. At least I don’t have to worry about getting shot or kidnapped by masked men in my country, but go on, bro, focus on the poop slingers and beggars. I’m absolutely not against you making videos on such topics, highlighting the abuse of the immigration system in both countries is important and above that, is your right to express yourself or report on. However, adding these unwanted tangents for clout and view baiting is not the definition of “independent journalism” that you claim to do. I was a huge fan of yours, but ever since you started making content about immigrants in New York City, you’ve gone down a very dark path. As a Canadian citizen I have always admired the US up until now, I sincerely wanted to move to the US to build homes and start up a company. But now am re-evaluating my decision because if this how the US treats their friends and allies, I really feel sad for their enemies. Both countries benefited from having a good relationship and now the great US has no one willing to challenge Mr Trump on this idiotic move, America is alienating themselves from a lot of countries and regular Americans are the ones who are going to suffer from this fall-out, the rich won't be affected but regular working class folks your stress is going to get a whole lot worse and that's unfortunate. Hopefully US wises up sooner rather than later and stop blaming immigration for their problems it's poor governing and politicians that have us looking at each other as enemies rather than humans with the same struggle and issues. They have money to send annually overseas but none to improve the life of their citizens in need, that should tell you something. People that don't look like you aren't your enemies, people who try to harm you, undermine you are your enemies. I certainly hope it doesn’t seem as though all Americans agree with what Trump is doing because many of us certainly do not. He doesn’t understand what the word diplomacy means unfortunately. With inflation rates rising, a trade war is one of the worst possible scenarios, and I agree with the Prime Minister. There are no winners here. Everyone gets hurt.

I am a canadian and half my family live in the US... we are not enemies but I am not alone in fearing what America is becoming and the direction it is taking in trade , geo politics and governing philosophy. \nthe people behind project 2025 are not rational old conservatives harking back to a by gone era, they are christian fundementalists enacting a plan to bring about the transformation of the US into a full blown christian theocracy. Canada has known for decades that we have put too many eggs in one basket - selling our resources primarily to the USA. We've had tariffs before and worked with them. Yet we still keep selling to the USA. This time is different. In conjunction with the tariffs, we have an American administration that is flat out insulting Canada. Saying we wouldn't exist economically if it wasn't for the USA. It's at a time when the USA won't promise not to use military force to annex land (Greenland) from a decades old ally. A time when clearly Putin is calling in his chips for whatever he has over Donald Trump. Canadians have had enough. We are directing our governments, provincial and federal, to finally, finally break from the north-south trade links. We need to establish stronger east-west trade links. The resources we have are wanted by many countries if the USA does not want them. It does mean much work within Canada. We need to get our AB-BC pipeline finished as well as the new sea terminal so we can ship our crude oil and natural gas to Japan and if need be, to China. We finally need to get out pipeline to the Atlantic coast finished so we can supply the UK and EU with our products. We need to double our rail capacity for shipping potash, uranium, rare minerals to Asia or Europe. Just as Trump hopes for a golden age of American companies coming home and building new plants in the USA, this will be a golden decade for Canada to create transportation corridors to get our resources to other buyers. America will have to look elsewhere for his raw materials. And we all know what that is - RUSSIA. They've already offered their rare minerals and crude oil. This is all clearly a well thought out scenario from the people working behind Trump to dismiss America's allies and trading partners - have us turn against the USA - as the excuse to open the door to Russian imports into the USA.

I am Canadian and I love my country. I love Americans and my American family. What your President is doing is destroying everything he puts his hands on. He just wants to rob everyone of their natural resources and make them pay for the US border. We are not responsible for your side of the border. It's not our job to pay to fix your problems. I know I will get attacked in the comments for this, but I grew up in the US watched many presidents come and go, and I have never seen the country that I live in turn so corrupt and evil in my life we have been lied to by our president. A man I did not vote for and it almost feels like it is turning into a fascist regime. North Carolinian American here. I am ashamed of our country pushing our allies away. What I and many others want to let our allies know is that we support them. Our country is getting closer to isolationism, and it isn't good if we want inflation and prices to go down. History has shown us what happened to our country when we were isolated, and it brought economic devastation throughout the country. I just hope president Trump is able to put tariff like penalty on American companies that are outsourcing jobs and leaving American job less. Take a good look at ANY companies career page, and has a software job requirement. 90% of ALL tech jobs are being outsourced to India, it's just getting ridiculous!

Trudeau is serving the final moments of his last term, but his approval ratings shot up since the Trump presidency started.
