Great start. 64% decrease in foreign students is a huge cut and definitely needed. Middle class tax cut is a step in the right direction and the $10 NSF fee is actually a huge underrated change. I’ll admit I’ve been in the situation where I forgot which day my bill is coming out and didn’t have my bank account prepared accordingly. Getting slapped with $50+ NSF fees just made it even worse. Nice to see a cap on that now as I felt like companies were abusing it.

Quick, Americans should stock up on coffee from Colombia ($1.5 Billion); cut flowers, bulbs, live trees ($1.6 Billion); mineral fuels, oil, distillation products ($7.2 Billion); pearls, precious stones, metals, coins ($1.9 Billion); and another 100+ products that make up another $10 to $12 Billion of annual imports. So, 50% tariffs on the total imports with Columbia would mean American importers of these goods would pay an additional $10 Billion which...of course...adds to their 'landed cost of goods' and gets passed on to guess who? I'll tell you about prices in Canada. (please fact check me fellow Canadians, I wrote this in a rage. Also, most of this is from Ontario cause I live there) The monopolies here are insane. Highways that were built using tax payer money were sold to companies and now Canadians need to pay to us it. Most grocery stores are owned by a few major companies and I see butter prices rising every few months. A 1L carton of cream at my local store is $8! I won't talk too much about housing cause it's obviously sh**. I will say a couple of years ago the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford (my greatest enemy), was releasing the protection of the green belt, a protect part of Ontario used for agriculture. He said he would use it to build new homes, great right? NOPE. First of all, the green belt is used for food to reduce prices for Canadians cause its local. He has stated he would move it to another location but that land there is less fertile. The worst thing is, the reason he is saying he would use the green belt to build houses is because the land there is very valuable. And guess who owns that land? His BUDDIES! That means he would sell that land to developers and his buddies would get all the profit cause the money developers use to buy the land will directly be put on the buyer. Not to mention, Doug Ford, the same person, since his instatement as premier, has cut the Ontario education budget by 50%. 50%!!!! ABSOLUTELY UNREAL. Can't even afford air conditioning in schools where the weather is so extreme. Rogers? The largest internet provider in Canada? Absolutely cr*p. So many complaints about bad connection and cutoffs which I also experienced when my mom bought one of their products and my internet was sh** for a couple of months. The ONLY, and I mean only, good major thing Trudeau has done is legalize marijuana. Another thing I forgot to mention is that our government is made up of criminals. Doug Ford, he and his family use to partake in drug dealing. Another major complaint is the ttc which is public transportation costing so damn much! As a student, it costs me over $1000 a year to get to school using the ttc. The times aren't even that great either as even on a major road, I had to wait 25 minutes to get a bus. Thats my rant.

The government needs to focus on reducing insurance costs for cars and homes, and property taxes should be cut by 50%. Also, cities and towns should stop wasting money on unnecessary projects, and Canadian contractors shouldn't be charging double for the same projects as those in the states.

If I was Prime Minister. I would Ban the immigrant Visa program for the next 10 years. I would deport anyone who has overstayed there welcome (those with expired visas) or are here (illegally) and now (not documented) \n\nThat alone would take many out of the shelters, homes, rentals, streets that should not be in the Country anymore. Doubling and tripling the time served and raising bail fees by 50% to keep folks that have criminal pasts off the streets <---- for first time offenders. \n\nFor those that have multiple offenses. Quadruple the jail times and put bail amounts 100% more then what they are now. \n\nGive those that kill, ra*e, torture, (and things along that nature (the death penalty) \n\nI would remove the mandate for Electric Vehicles for Canada. Where only 1 vehicle per manufacturer would have to be Electric. So if somebody wants it. It's there but the majority would be. Gas / Diesel etc. \n\nI would build more housing / schools / retirement homes / hospitals / recreation centre's / Library and walk in Clinics. \n\nI would write a law that the roads in Canada must be fixed properly. Not just patched. \n\nI would raise the taxes on Multi Million and Billion Corporations and those that make $400.000 or more to pay a higher tax. While those that make less than $400.000 get taxed less. \n\nI would Lower the provincial taxes by 2% effective immediately and the Minimum wage across all provinces would be $17.75 an hour for full time workers (over 32 hours per week) with .25 cent yearly increases until 2030 to be reassessed. \n\nI would give Tax cuts to those who want to open businesses and build and sell Canadian Products to make sure Canadian Goods are affordable to make. Still have a profit to slow down overseas production creating more Canadian jobs for Canadian People. \n\nEvery Worker that works 24 hours or more weekly is getting Benefits making it mandatory for all types of business owners to make benefits available to the workers and ensuring the plan covers a minimum of 50% throughout the entire year. \n\nI would raise the pension to those who have worked 25+ years in Canada and remain in Canada as a retiree for a minimum of 6 months of the year 5% \n\nShrinkflation will stop. Learn more for those in grade 8 and under. \n\nI would ban every Pride event in Canada and charge people fines if they hang rainbow colored Canadian flags anywhere on any property including ban clothing with those colors on the Canadian Flags immediately. Somebody who's inside a university here.\nThis segment is exactly correct. edit: in the first 2min, can't verify the rest except at 7:50.\nDomestic students get their tuition subsidised by universities and international students don't.\nIf the province cuts education funding the most logical thing to do is accept students you are not required to subsidize.\nSo, complain about funding cuts AND more more international students or complain about neither. Can't be both.\n\nOn the other hand, universities are places of leaning and exchange of ideas which cannot be done without international exchange of those ideas.

I use to think that BC would be the best place to retire but I'm changing my mind about that. Between 50°C temps where towns spontaneously combust and flooding and landslides to the degree that cuts the province off from the rest of the country, I think I'll just stay where I am.
