From the UK, learning about the same problems our Canadian brothers face is sad but interesting. Its almost refreshing to see the patterns and that I'm not crazy , but its very sad all the same. Sending many blessings x

I must say it is refreshing to hear the same opinion from immigrants that did things the correct legal way and for the right reasons. I thank all of you for speaking up surely you can't be labeled racists etc for speaking the truth! I can tell you right now if I was to go to another country I would not get there illegally and take advantage of anything and everything I can from that countries government while showing hate for that very country. I sure as hell would not expect society in that country to bow down and be forced to accept and support the ways I knew from being from Canada. It blows my mind to see the level of entitlement and ignorance! Canada is dying........quick

How refreshing to see and hear such a professional president. I appreciate you.

refreshing to see a country leader younger than your average pope

Nice to see a leader who speaks in an articulate, truthful, factural manner. So refreshing! Th donald should grow up and take note. This is how leaders act.

Aha - an adult in the room. That's refreshing! \nWith the slightest inquiry at all, anyone can see the obvious absurdity (the lie) in the premise that this is about drugs crossing the border. \nThis Trump administration really takes us all for fools. \nSorry Canada - Please stand by, many of us are doing our best to turn this sinking ship around.

To all Canadians, as an American, it was so refreshing to see PM Trudeau stand up to the big bully who has some type of bromance with Putin. We feel he has something he’s holding over ?’s head. We also feel our election was rigged by muskrat. We live in a Blue state, Illinois, and we will suffer some things the ? felon we withhold from us. I don’t care. We’d rather be in a blue state no matter what. Please pray for us and all Americans who despise this man. Thank you.

As an American, its refreshing to see a young, passionate, articulate, charismatic, kind, and logical human being lead a country, rather than the geriatrics and nut caaes we got here.

Refreshing to hear a politician speak the truth. All Americans should listen to this and see the Orange Turd is the instigator to this “lose-lose” trade war now underway.

Wow!! American here. Refreshing to see real leadership. Absolutely disgusted with my piece of crap president and his little pet JD Vance. Never in my 48 years did I think I would see the day our president craps all over our allies. Worse yet, never thought I would have a president that is selling our country and our allies out to Russia. Pray in the American people stand up and say enough is enough

I fucking love you, Canada. So refreshing to see a well-spoken and rational president on that side of the Atlantic Ocean.

I have no idea if Prime Minister Trudeau reads any of these comments or if his team does, but as an American, I am ashamed of our current government. We have a narcissist for a leader who is a bad businessman and a puppet of Putin. How refreshing to see a real LEADER who actually cares about his country and not himself. I support Canada wholeheartedly. I suspect many Americans will be hurt badly by these embargoes and (justified) retaliatory tariffs - but so be it.

Incredible leadership, well spoken and refreshing to see a mature clear communicator.

Refreshing to see a clear-eyed seasoned leader with his country’s best interests at heart.

This is what it looks like, when a country leader steps up for his flag and his people. It's refreshing to see, really!

It's refreshing to see a leader who speaks clearly, eloquently, and explains things step by step. He perfectly outlined the issue and the reasons behind the countermeasures. When Trump speaks, he lies, makes up facts, and is completely incoherent. we never understands what he’s doing or why he’s doing it, and neither does he.

It is so refreshing to see a real leader and not the 78 year old man child we are stuck with

It's refreshing to see a leader, make sense.

It’s refreshing to see world leaders speaking out against this administration. Now it’s time for Americans to get with the program and speak truth to power

Honestly, I think Russia is one of the few countries left that really stands up for traditional values. They’re all about family, faith, and keeping their culture strong. It’s refreshing to see a country that doesn’t just go along with whatever the West is pushing these days. I feel like the West is so focused on tearing down traditions, whether it’s about family, religion, or even just respecting history.

Watching from Finland ??and its refreshing to see America be sensible again. CNN is still pressing the leftist angle in their news, even though it looks like it will be bad for business in the coming years.

All eyes are on NY & Chi. Honestly looking like a 3rd world country-paying 1st world prices. Illegals are driving up prices! & shoplifting is destroying the city! Sad to see from the outside looking in!!! No other state wants anything to do with Sanctuary policies!!! ❤️ Straight Arrow News ? it’s so refreshing to not get censored if you’re against illegal immigration like other channels!!!!!!!

Great questions! It's very refreshing to see from this network!!

I just wanted to say how refreshing it was to see a journalist press the government and hold them accountable! Thank you

The racism against Germans that is so openly expressed in the comments here is unbearable. Yes, there are some bad people in Germany (basically in any country on this planet, unfortunately) who are themselves racist or discriminatory. But that is by no means the majority of Germans. I have lived here for decades and have met the most warm-hearted people. From the comments I rather gather that many who come to Germany simply extremely overestimate the demands they can (and may) make of Germany (or pretty much any other immigration-friendly country). If you come to Germany it is obvious that you have to learn German (or the local language). That is the case everywhere, including France, Italy and Korea - you name it. And if you can't do that straight away that's okay too, most Germans speak English and are very forgiving when it comes to language learners. Nobody shouts at you for not knowing German. Furthermore, Germans are very direct and don't care much about artificial and feigned friendliness. What you see is what you get. And I think that's honest and quite refreshing. \n\nThe thing is, YOU have to approach Germans and can't just expect them to roll out the red carpet for you just because you think they are in need of your workforce. The simple truth is: the standard of living in Germany is very high. The culture is diverse, and anyone who doesn't recognize this should broaden their horizons. Cities like Munich, Berlin, Stuttgart and Hamburg are beautiful, extremely multicultural and anyone who describes them as 'dull' will probably not feel at home in any city on this planet. The people are also nicer than many non-germans claim - that's obvious, because if that weren't the case, Germany wouldn't be the most popular country to immigrate within Europe amongst immigrants. Of course there are problems on the German side too. Bureaucracy, language barriers and discrimination. But they definitely don't deserve the unreasonable racism they face here in the comments. You can't criticize Germans for their alleged discriminatory behavior by unreasonably attacking and generalizing Germans themselves. Anyone who approaches Germans with prejudice and racism should not be surprised if they do not receive a friendly welcome there...

As a punjabi Canadian who's parents came here over 50 years ago. Watching international students abuse things like food banks makes my blood boil beyond belief. One of the things I've always loved most about being Canadian is our reputation for being kind, caring, polite and helpful.\n\nIndia has a very different mindset, it's much more cutthroat and people are taught to find and abuse any and every advantage they can. When I was younger it was always really fun watching new families come here because the difference in mindset was so refreshing to them and it wasn't uncommon for them to want to very enthusiastically be a part of it.\n\nNow I see families come from India and they seem almost offended by the idea of wanting to contribute or help improve the communities and areas they live in. In the past they could see for themselves that mindset made things better for everyone, but because there's so much immigration now, they tend to move into areas where other new immigrants are also living and getting exploited by other slightly less recent immigrants. That cutthroat mentality is all they see and feel, everyone is looking to get something from them and give nothing back. So they do the same, and attempts to show them the things I love most about Canadians is perceived as just another hustle trying to take advantage of them.\n\nNobody is happy with this, nobody wins.

It is refreshing to see Canadians admit that they are not perfect. For many years they just criticized the United States for this and for that and that we only elect fascists here. Now you don't want immigrants either.

It's refreshing seeing Canadians' opinion on a national issue in the comment section. Just acknowledging that they face a problem and how it should be tackled, no aggressive xenophobia, no racism. Imagine what the comments would look like if this is a US problem. Maybe that's why people go there lol. I would love to be around people like this if I were an immigrant.

Tyler, it is refreshing to see an American who is open minded to accept other people's experiences and not take it personally. Always enjoy these videos you share, and your responses.

Im Canadian from Northern Alberta. I travel often to the balkans often. Every time I come home i see how bad it is here. People work so hard for very little. And the extras people have is wasted away. Then there is the nanny state aspect, it is not just from the government but the citizens as well. Which creates a atmosphere that makes community building seem impossible. \n We hit the apex 10 years ago. And it really is time to leave. \n Health care?\n My friend had a botched back surgery, he nearly lost everything. Waited over 6 months for mri and other tests, treated like garbage. Now in Belgrade Serbia. You call for a mri you get it the next day for 100 dollars. \n Things aren't as good as the people believe they are. \n Modernity is killing the human connection, but other places still have it. And it is refreshing to see it.

I usually really like PolyMatter but this video is clearly biased and missing important details. \n\nWhat this video does not talk about is that we already have millions of H1B in this country competing for jobs with American citizens; go into any IT department of most banks, and you will find mostly H1B workers. Walking into any major university career fair, you will see the predatorial scene of hordes of foreign master students competing against American bachelors for the same new grad jobs; with many of the foreign students already having real career experience in their own country competing against inexperienced American young adults. \n\nThis video also does not mention the H1B lottery is not a single-try event. Everyone is given 3 tries and it refreshes if you get another American degree. \n\nLastly, this video does not mention the fact that people not on American soil could also apply for the H1B lottery which contributes further to the low rate. \n\nComparing pays between companies was ridiculous in this video's context. Google L3 in America should be compared with Google L3 in Canada, which are not very different in pay, after adjusting for the cost of living.\n\nIn terms of the country cap, just because some countries happen to have more people than other countries, it's not America's problem to solve; America has to do what is in the best interest of America. In this case, America simply decided to prioritize diversity in yearly admittees.

Don't agree with illegal immigration, but gotta say it is pretty awesome and refreshing to see people so enthusiastic and motivated to become Americans.

I am a powerful woman raised by my grandparents and my parents in an amazing family. I identify myself as a woman of colour, amazing colour, it embraces me and reflects back my beauty for all around me to see. We were given every opportunity to explore the world where we lived and had passion for reading books, I was encouraged to explore so much of the world and ideologies. Issues of racism existed around me and this was unquestionable, but we had a safe place in a family with committed parents to develop and make our mark on the world. How refreshing to explore the world from a safe place and our parents especially my father encouraged us to mix with people of all cultures, because he firmly believed and I also believe there is only one race, the human race. We look different on the outside but let’s enjoy the fact that God made of one flesh all people. So, impressed with my amazing grandparents and parents... I love myself and I love the world that we live in, even though everyone is not perfect, we are are amazing. I was born in Jamaica, raised in England, UK, and now live in Canada.
