I have loved your channel for a while now, but i really do not like how you allowed the racist man in the safety vest to be in this video. I recognize Canada has huge problems with excess immigration and we can't meet the demands we are insinuating we can meet to potential immigrants. I also recognize that there is a a huge problem with Indian students being lured here under false pretences and this issue needs to be exposed. However, I don't think you should have given an openly racist person a platform to share their views and you laughed when they said obviously racist things. He said "I'm as racist as the next person" and you laughed. Sorry but what?! He is normalizing his racism and you are playing along. Just pick a different person to interview. He said "better indians than muslims, africans, etc....." Canada hasn't been around that long relative to other places. This guy came from immigrants like 1-2 generations ago. You probably got a lot of footage to choose from. Why him?

Carney makes sure he puts the dumbest people on immigration. Because he knows the dumbest people support the Liberal Party. So it doesn't matter how bad they break everything. They're gonna get still gonna get supported. Because for some reason, people think Carney is king and walks on water and was the first man on the moon and everything else he takes credit for that. He didn't do. He left nothing but chaos in his wake anywhere. He's been just asked the slaves in the Amazon rainforest. What they thought of him in Brookfield, management asked the United Kingdom what they thought about his stint there and now he's in Canada. He wrecked things for 5 years as Trudeau's advisor and now he's the big shot, loser, screwing Canada even worse. I'm willing to bet if anyone actually cared enough to follow the money. I think canadian taxpayers are paying for not only his trips around to these other countries for deals, but I think were accommodating Brookfield management as well!

This is a travesty. More of the same: incompetence and corruption. How much debt do the Liberals think Canadians can endure? To pay for this crap? Because I’ll tell you right now - while 3 of my grandparents were immigrants to Canada - I really resent today’s immigrants and grifters who claim asylum to avoid leaving. I do not give permission to pay for one more soul. I’m really starting to hate people in general because of all of this.

To be honest this is something all political party’s from across the spectrum agree with in Canada at the moment, we literally have no housing . We the Canadian Tax payer have been footing rbe bill to keeo these immigrants/ refugees in rather nice 3/4 Hotles for the last few years . I’m a farmer who lives in the county but the closest city to where I live is Windsor and for the last 4 ish year the Government was hosting them in Five Hotel's across the city . It got to the point where it was cheaper for the government to BUY the hotels then rent all the rooms , so that’s what they did … No I’m all for helping people but that is kinda pushing it don’t you think ? There are no jobs for them , no homes for them , etc . We have been in a trade war for the last 2 years with the two largest economies in the world and we need to focus our economic power on thous conflicts at the moment and if the world like it or not fighting that is out top priority and everything else comes second .Even with out that fact Our former government overloaded what our ability’s where capable of handling . We have a pretty advanced social care network but these new folks who have never payed a dime into it and are living off of it for years with the government having no real plan on how to deal with it is just to much , with our with out the economic conflict we are currently in . The facts are the facts and we live in reality, anyways you guys all have a good one , cheers .

I live in a medium size city in Canada I’m not gonna say the name of it, but it has in between 100,000 and 400,000 people but where I live it seems to be 30% Indian immigrants and I am not racist one bit but it it seems to be more immigrants, then are actual people that lived here before and it just seems to be like the city. I’m living is changing so fast. And it seems like it’s doubling every year I think it’s projected to be a million people by 2050 and less the 300 thousand people live here so

I was going through college in southern Ontario about half a decade ago. The faculty was alright but the one that always stuck with me was an elderly Indian man who had a PHd (what he was doing teaching at a community college, I'm not sure). He immigrated from India sometime in the 70's, I think, and sometimes told us stories about how he'd never seen electricity until he was well into adulthood. This was at the early stages of Indian mass immigration to the province, but the international students were already becoming a known problem in the school. They never spoke to anyone else, hung out in big groups together on campus, I swear most of them couldn't even speak English. They constantly cheated on everything and shared answers, I heard like 7 of them got failed for submitting identical lab reports one time. Most people knew they were a problem, but no one was comfortable saying anything. Except the Indian professor. He would publicly call them out for shit in class, berate them, shit talk them openly to other students. I've literally never seen anyone more angry about those Indian students than that Indian professor. It's not hard to see why, he busted his ass to immigrate to Canada, get work and get into a good university. He completed a doctorate, for Christ's sake. He didn't see a street light until he was 25, and worked his way to the bleeding edge of digital science. Now there's a bunch of lazy assholes invited in by the government brazenly trying to cheat their way to a degree in his goddamn class. I'd crash out too.

Im an immigrant from Colombia living in Canada. I moved here because I legit wanted to study this program I was interested in and improve my English. After finishing my studies a tech company hired me and I've been working here for over 4 years. I am shocked at some of the things I've seen, the corruption, the lack of law enforcement, the scams, all the sketchy things that happen within certain immigrant demographics. No one's looking into it, journalists, the government, no one does anything about it. I'm not anti immigration because im one myself but I do think there needs to be more strict regulation and the government needs to look into the scams that are going on in this country.

Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I mean, we are the first generation with cell phones so things aren’t gonna go well for the first generation so I hope to see change in the next, but I really hate the racism. Because at the end of the day, this world belongs to all of us. I’m married to a Punjab. And I’m very thankful I met him feel like a lot of Canadian men. Have become victims to the red pill ideology or cell phones are really just becoming a part of their ideologies. Indian families bring back real love and authenticity. My only problem is the criminals that are coming into the country that are hurting people when we already have enough problems in our own country.

I’m actually appalled at the racism in this video. People have a right to search for a better life for themselves. Why do you think white people ended up in Canada in the first place? It’s not their country. Immigrants are typically highly educated and pay Canada exorbitant amounts of money to move here and/or go to school here. They also take a loss because most of the time their university degrees are not recognized in this country. They swallow their pride and take jobs beneath them. Immigrants bring value to this country. They’re extremely intelligent and hard working. In my 34 years living here not once have I seen ANY Indians or Africans in shelters or on the streets.

Thank you for doing this video, Canada should be the best country in the world. Canada is arguably the best place on Earth geographically, but just like every government in the world right now, isn't handing anything appropriately or even objectively being managed in a sensible way. however, you saying "greatest country in the world" instead of "USA" every time, is probably why people think you're racist and mocking other societies. I defended your India poop video because it was clear you weren't saying that all Indians live in filth like people claimed you were. But again, referencing the US as the best or greatest is just condescending and portentous. Now I'm not your Dad, say and do whatever you want, I'm still enjoying the content. Just saying being more humble and remembering the many problems the US has and how many self-inflicted 3rd world issues it places on itself, would be wise.

I'm glad Tyler is more or less neutral in his findings. It's true, many Indian's have come to Canada and I'm sure many do wish for a better life. Canadians understand this, but the methods the government of Canada is doing to push the numbers too high and too quickly is what's surprising to many. It's the accountability of the government that should be under scrutiny. If immigration was moderate and consistent, the social issues would not be as rampant, but social media loves stir the pot. This is also happening while Canada's housing infrastructure is crumbling, healthcare is deteriorating and general cost of living in Canada has skyrocketed and priced many Canadians out of simple living and enjoyment. Do you think Canadians today are as happy or well off as Canadians even 5 years ago? Do the results reflect that of other countries besides Canada?

Isn’t it ironic that the high-IQ white man, or the “Buddy on the Bike,” who’s supposedly intelligent, is riding a bike in the snow? Also, if he were truly that intelligent, why are the so-called “nasty people,” as he referred to Indians, running his hometown? Though I doubt he’s even from Brampton. He’s likely from St. Marys, Ontario. It is one of the most racist towns in Canada. Many individuals there believe that all non-white people are not Canadians, even if they were born in Canada and have been there over four generations. I’m not surprised by the “white trash” remark, as he calls himself. Nor am I surprised by his Nick Fuentes wannabe behavior. As for the American audience, not everybody thinks in terms of race the way y’all do. I think this exported American ideology is affecting people in Canada and the rest of the world.

As a Indian Sikh that was BORN in Australia with parents that have been in Australia for over 17 years, these new Indians coming here are the problem I’m not trying to be rude or racist but I’ve gone to India many times and there everyone is in Canada or something but when they get there they treat it like India, like if ur gonna go to a different country at least respect them . India is a beautiful country with good food it’s just that some (keyword some) people are disrespectful most Indians are like this because of stereotypes so they sometimes feel angry so then they try to get revenge. I’m not saying everyone is like this but I had to get it out because I’m starting to feel annoyed with Indians and other people, Indians also say that the uk stole from them so they are stealing back but that was only uk and only the government not the people. Thats fucking sad to see, I'm french, when I was a kid and used to picture Canada, I used to think about white guy speaking french with a weird quebec accent, great and spotless cities, Top 1 HDI, the good version of America. One thing i can and do respect about indians is that they will never be pushy with their religions. Sure you'll find some "bad apples" but rare. Then there are other countries, that are much more pushy with their religions. I have no respect for that. So there might be a lot of them, but they don't ruin it as per say. As long as they don't shit on the beach and use garbage cans and not sidewalks. I won't go to india an impose my belief or way of living. And i don't think they do that in canada either. But others do it. Sadly, by association of the religion, some will see them as the same people. Anyways we're in 2026, religions are stone age laws to scare people. Now we have actual laws that are based on being a decent person, not the winner or the best, or the only right way. No need for some boogeyman in the sky to scare you, 10 years in prison should be enough to make you behave like a decent human. Even 1 month is enough for me to not be some idiot. We had horses, now we have cars. We had gods, now we have laws. Simple evolution and progress. Well some countries didn't get that update apparently. And noooo, if i say one bad word about an ideology, not a race (yaaawn, human race, all the same) i will be hunted down. That should tell you everything about the situation. You don't like my ideas? Well, if you don't have refugee claimants status in Canada. I'm unfortunately, you don't have the right to be here. That's why I think that deportation of non citizen within the country would be appropriate to force.

Good journalism, it's good to get out and hear what people are thinking. In viewing, it occurs to me that it's hard for white people, and maybe Christians, to understand some Asians. I'm an American, so-called white American, and love Sanatana Dharm, or what most people call Hinduism - that term should soon be forgotten. Anyway, this video shows a variety of people called Indians but whom are vastly different in belief. So much so, they maybe fighting in India but abroad, they stick together. Islam and most Indian philosophies (they are not religions as there is no overarching institution or organization) feed the "devotees" several times a day...it is a part of the culture, shared meals with those who share faith. The Indians, they basically want a better life and will send money home. Muslims will buy land through a trust and then buy more and more. I don't know about Canada, but there are no such cultures in America - well, the Church has bought a lot of land but does nothing to serve people. The Mormons have land and a strong daily schedule, some community churches have very strong programs, but as a whole, The Church has done nothing to make itself appealing and therefore, there's no opposite or equal force. What to do? and as far as assimilating, yes, they should, but to what? Should they start playing hockey, drinking beer, etc. The second gen might. The West has lost it's way and religion isn't the solution but a culture not so decadent would be a good start.

I'm no expert, but it's obvious that mass immigration is detrimental to any country. Years ago, Canada seemed like a dream country, but in the last few years, it looks like the homelessness, crime etc. has increased and the housing prices are insane. I have a Sikh friend who lived there for about 5 years but moved back to India due to the high cost of living and quality of life there going downhill. He has a much better, low stress life back home. I think there should be stricter measures to immigration. For example: Let doctors, nurses, engineers, lawyers in more easily, but those that are coming as students and going to work as cashiers, should be limited.

I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

Well, I'm gonna give you Canada Immigration an advice on how to catch these people and all those in other countries who has the same situation. These people are doing jobs like delivery like Uber, Skip, Doordash, etc., BUT...they are not using their legal name to apply for that instead they are using another person's account to do that job, whose account is legal and had been in the job for so many years. The connection between those people is not relevant to any gang or organizations but they operate like one, the advantage is both parties earn money while in their eyes is "legal". This is normal settings in my country(3rd world country), you have several taxis and you need to hire drivers to operate, its up to you if you're gonna hire legit drivers or not, the only difference is that the undocumented driver is cheaper. And how do I know these things, I work in a fastfood chain in Waterloo, you need to identify which order the driver will pickup and the delivery driver need to verify the order by the order number through the app but sometimes you can see the Account's photo is different from the delivery driver, so yeah, that's the gist of it. I have no idea why modern countries like Canada and America are so "dumb" or lack of critical thinking when it comes to crimes like this, but I guess people and politicians are the same all over the world. And now, they are bringing more people without checking their background, if there's any criminal record or such, oh yeah, speaking of that, how do you verify those records from another country if those records can be produced with 3rd party company in which an employee from a government institution is behind it to make it more look like it is legit.

I am a Korean international student studying in Canada. These types of news makes me really frustrated.. I heard that due to these reasons, immigration officers has been taking very long time to process study visa permits. I 100% agree with immigration officers that they need to carefully review the applications, because I also think things like this shouldn’t happen in any countries. But, I’m getting frustrated because this is delaying innocent international students’ visa process as well. I’ve finished my undergraduate studies and I decided to pursue master’s under a professor i met in my current university. I was very excited to study the field, and i applied for study extension visa months ago, and still haven’t gotten any updates from IRCC. So I couldn’t get enrolled in Fall semester. I’m still waiting, and i really hope that i can continue studying.. luckily my professor understood this situation and he said he can hold a position for me, but i’m still very anxious about all the situation. I hope all people who come to Canada are honest and don’t do illegal things. I really want them to realize that they are affecting students who just want to study. They are taking away the opportunity for others to learn.

Canadian that spent 16 years in Japan. I went as an individual. I stayed as an individual. Married a Japanese. Came back to Canada for a pension and can't wait to leave. I were in Japan and if I saw a group of Canadians arrive expecting Japan to change for them, I would have been severely pissed off with them. Every other country and normal immigrant that came as an individual or individual family probably thinks the same way I do. No one in any country likes to see "Mass Immigration" and even Japan these days are looking at an influx of half a million Indians and who knows how many more Africans. This will change Japan and they'll turn a good culture into their shitty culture and I'm not happy with that. I liked being one of few. Yes I had American, Canadian, Australian, Kiwi and British friends as well as Japanese friends. But we were all individuals that adopted the way of living in Japan into our everyday lives. If I go back, I don't want to be in india. It'd be like living in Brampton. What pisses me most is the attitude of that muslim guy. Yes you are out breeding us but not all majorities rule. In Malaysia, Malays rule despite being the smaller population. They have more Chinese and Indians there but they have to live under the rule of the native Malays. So you will have to do the same in Canada despite if your population is larger. You adapt to this country. The country doesn't convert to accomodate you. Individuals are key. Groups are the bane of all countries.

As an immigrant who came to this country & fell in love with its culture 40 years ago, it's appalling to see how our beautiful first world country is quickly becoming a gutter. The newcomers these days are the privileged ones. All of us need to speak up, especially those of us immigrants who retain our original accents &/ non-white because our white fellow Canadians are accused of being racist whenever they do (though many could learn to be more eloquent. ie. go back to your country does NOT help)! I see it as my Canadian duty to remind "misbehaving" newcomers the reason they left their country in the first place. ie. You chose Canada for a better life, so why try to change it into the one you left? ie. Help me understand your logic? Why not leave your hate & war at the border; just like normal folks won't bring stinky garbage into their new homes. Life is challenging enough when you uprooted to a new country (especially our unforgiving cold Winter). So, just focus on the positive things in your new country & leave all your miseries behind... ie. Learn to adapt & enjoy your new country. Canada is a great country because of the love & effort of those before you, so now you are the beneficiary. Join the legacy by enhancing this beautiful country & its culture, so you can pass on this century old legacy for later newcomers to enjoy, like you do now. What dignity do you have & what kind of life lessons to your children by bullying your culture & religion into Canada at the expense of other Canadians? This will fracture Canada if everyone does that. Do you want this country to become so fractured & terrible that your descendants have to leave for a better country, like you did? Is that what your religion teaches you? Does it state it's perfectly fine to satisfy all your whims & wishes at the expense of others? Are you striving for Canadians to think badly of your race/culture? Are you being a good ambassador to your race/community/culture/religion? Canadians are so friendly & helpful, if you need help, just ask, please don't demand. Learn the language & it's ok to speak broken/pigeon English with gestures to communicate. No one expects you to be an English scholar; you gain respect for trying. Apply some basic Canadians manners, which goes a long way... Please & Thank You, Smile doesn't cost you anything, besides it's good exercise for your facial muscles. I worked my entire career with the public, I very seldom encounter negative feedback when I do the above. If they get nasty, I tell them that's definitely not the Canadian way to make friends & wish them Good Luck! I also make a point in telling the wealthy ones "Tax Avoidance is legal (I'm more than happy to show them), but Tax Evasion is not! Then reminding them....Canada will be bankrupt eventually if everyone don't pay their fair share of taxes. ie. You may not suffer, but your children/grandchildren will. Worst Case scenario, you didn't get the necessary medical care when you most needed it!!! We should lobby for a mandatory course that all newcomers have to take & PASS a test about Canadian culture & expectations. If they fail, no citizenship for sure! But that would be another hornets nest because our parliament will debate over definition of "Canadian Culture" for decades. Welcome to Canada!😂

Well...we all see it, we all live it, we all know what the problem is, we all know how it came about, and we all know what has to happen...An example, can be seen, by looking to the South.. We know it takes us goin out to the poles by the millions, to vote, in order to elect, who we think is best for the country,..but then we expect small groups, of only a few100, to be capable of affecting change, with such major, post electoral issues, as this. Make no mistake, this, Canada, has already become a completely different place,..it's no longer the home we knew and loved, as it was. All those aspects are gone. And this is just the beginning. Wars Will Happen, in our cities.. Yes I'm just some guy that was born here in Canada, 61yrs ago. What I'm saying, is what I've been seeing, for decades. Rules and guidelines, and laws, need to passed. If you come to a foreign country, to live,..you practice, and learn their ways, and become one with them. None of this Social Separation B.S...If you want to live as you did in the country you left, find a secluded island, or go back to where you came from. It,s not just illegals that are being a problem.

I have very deep roots here, I’m so sad our country is being ruined no matter what we do! They kill our people, they steal, they dedicate in our parks, lakes, rivers and oceans! They are killing everything! This goes on and our drinking water, animals will die! They came here because their country is no good. Now they want to do the same thing here!!! I am Native American. At college, I took a welding course just to break the monotony of classes as I was raised using my hands. This immigrant male, asked the rest of the class "why is she here?". I asked if he had a problem with me and he looked at the class to tell me not to speak to him. No one said a word but looked between us in silence. I asked him again, "do you have an issue with me being here?". Again he told the rest of the Caucasian men to tell me to stop speaking to him. I said if you have a problem with me, let's step outside and one of us will walk back in. You can't accept that a Native female is in this class, pack your family up and go home. Don't think of the state's because that's mine too. The teacher walked in and he could see and sense the tension in the room. He removed the immigrant and they went out of the room. A few minutes later the instructor came in and looked at me and said he'll be taking a class with no females. His country doesn't allow females an education yet alone a trade. You're welcome to stay. I have no intention to leave, was my comment back. I'm here to learn. Decades later, I'm driving home from northeastern Quebec and on the 401 is a gas/food stop. My child and I were passed by 4 luxury sports cars. They pulled into this stop and parked across all the handicapped parking spots. Bumper to bumper across the spots. We went in and met them as we came out and met a truck driver of the same nationality. He asked "how is Canada treating you?". They smiled and said "look", motioning to their silk suits. Another pointed to their cars. And another said "they treat us like kings'!". The fourth said "Canadians are easy to play! Cowards!!" A few days later, I'm at Walmart and present my tax exempt (we pay 5% tax) but the cashier looks at it and states "you all think your so special!!" Your paying the tax like everyone else! A customer behind me yelled for management loudly. When management showed, I didn't say a word because it was the customers behind and on the side of me with complaints of the rudeness of the cashier. She was removed and manager took over transactions. Not just mine but those after me. There was another incident with my child. An immigrant (can tell by the long tunic) was trying to lure my daughter away from me. I put her in a cart and requested help from a young employee who wanted me to write a book before calling security. Another employee came over and called security immediately. By the time they found the man, he had exited the store and got into a taxi. A few weeks later at an arena where youth hockey practice was taking place, the same scenario was happening. A man in a tunic was trying to lure children away and when caught, jumped into a taxi and left the scene. To attack an adult who can defend themselves is one thing but to go after children is another. I say stricter policy on crimes are needed.

Vancouver BC has truly become a hub of transnational organized crime and our government seems blithely unopposed at best, a criminal participant most likely. Yes these immigrants are very rude. They have no personality. I was in Walmart and the cashier of course an imaginant and she's so sour, and as my items are piling up .she said you have to pack these items away before I continue. In the meantime I'm getting my bags out and trying my best to hurry because the line is very long she's just standing there looking around instead of offering to help me pack up my groceries no ..... I'm working full-time single women living pay cheque to pay cheque. I live in Vancouver and I can barely afford my basic living. My whole cheque goes into rent and rest in groceries. No saving, no fun activities. I can’t go out, eat out, if you really think about it, it's really depressing that you're working full-time still you're not able to live your life. Canada is going down and will lose good people because of affordability issues.

Canadians can't afford to have babies. I don't know what makes the government or the immigrants they bring in think that, after the free government stipends and support ends, theyll be able to afford to have babies. They won't. They'll be in the same position most Canadians are in: working their life away to pay their bills, and having the government take half their income in the form of taxes in order to pay for all the NEW immigrants who arrive. I'm guessing that's partly why a lot of new immigrants are leaving Canada shortly after they arrive: they were sold a fairy tale that no longer exists, and probably won't exist again until Canadians wake up and vote out the Liberal party.

I'm Canadian. I've spend my entire adult life involved with everything immigration. I have no problem with immigration which to me is people moving. It offers great people and great things. I have a problem with women and children abused, in violence and almost killed and our resources which are suppose to help protect the men coming here doing this because as immigrants they have value and so support anything they do to innocent people here because they have more worth as human beings than people born, raised and who lived here all their lives. It is a belief everything is owed to make lives bigger and better for them above everyone else bc they suffered somewhere else but the assumption is every person in Canada had the opportunity born here that all people should be rich and if anyone is under that standard they deserve nothing and it should be given to everyone coming in. I'm a proud Canadian Immigrant of Indian origin. I came here to do specialized studies in Game Development. I took my time, and studied 6 years as an international student, paying 3x the tuition, sank $200,000 of hard earned money into the Canadian Education system — Not as a fast track gimmick to immigrate, but so I could achieve my dream as a Game Developer. This money was family income, earned on 1/4th the salary, taking 4x longer to save. I was a great privileged to me. Today 15 years later, no one would ever think I'm from India. I sound Canadian, I behave Canadian, I have Canadian values, and I am Canadian. I came here because I loved Canada. I would watch hours upon hours of indigenous history, and on my Citizenship day, I watched Juno Beach to celebrate. However I must say this... I suffered through s*icidal depression here for 8 years, because I had far less leverage here than in a developing country, and it's really telling what sort of situation we're all in... Rent caps in Canada were removed... The housing market was open to foreign investors / and real estate monopolies with a 20% year-on-year rise... Rents went from 1000$ to 2100$ MINIMUM for a 1 bedroom through Trudeau's term and the govt said "It's not a federal responsibility"... Auto insurance is like 2.5-3.5k a year in Ontario and if you get a dent, you pay a deductable... I was quoted 8500$ for two wisdom teeth surgeries while it costed me 260$ abroad... During Covid - property owners, banks, and grocery stores exploited our misery and made record profits!... The govt stopped filtering through it's immigrants with "interviews", and it's operating like a scam — "Bring all your foreign money, convert it to CAD, and keep our GDP stable.. while we neither have the infrastructure, nor the job market to support these numbers". I think some accountability is due... these issues are "symptoms", not the problem — The problem is our Liberal govt / policies, and our wonderful voting body who voted Liberal term after term after term while complaining. Why does this govt safeguard extremism, foreign politics, foreign separatism? Khalistanis are as much of a threat / nuance to India than it is to Canada, but in Canada they actually have a unrestricted platform. Instead of resenting immigrants, we need to start resenting how mismanaged Canada is by our govt, and hold our voting body accountable. We had a chance to vote differently, but once again a repackaged and rebranded Liberal term.
