I’ve lived in foreign countries as both temporary and permanent resident but I never ever felt entitled to reside there forever. While I’m sure some are caught off guard, they still have a home to go back to. We already have a mess with incompatible newcomers. Maybe we can work on that next.

It's not a lie. I have friends telling me stories of Indian Immigrants in small towns like Renfrew, Eaganville, Barrie, and other smaller places in between where there following and harrassing women in small towns. And their daughters alone side them. And their are never arrested. These people have disappeared of the internet 6-8 yrs ago and are popping up in small towns and even smaller villages along the highway. Parking on private property access roads for fires and picnics with there kids. I have seen it first hand all over lanark county and across the east end heading out to Embrun and east towards Plantagenet. And for anyone to deny this..it's because you live in a bubble and never leave the city. Can't goto the Ottawa River anywhere without seeing people bathing in the runoff from our fields and confronting locals tell them to stop trashing out forest and community . All the while throwing garbage into the river and bushes wherever they stop to get out of their cars. These Indians and Muslims do not care about the rules or our country. The Immigrants have over run the country and will not leave peacefully. Ask them yourself if they will. I bet they stand defiantly in your face and tell you "no". Even when they legally do not belong here. This will cause a civil war soon enough. Canada wants it's country back. And they will get it back from the liberals and their foreign army of vagrant, Canadian hating deciples. The time of the liberals has come to and end. Canada will be great again and the liberals will be back at the bottom where they belong. Especially after what they've done to the country and its people. Disgusting that no one has done it YET!!

I am also an immigrant, I came here from Guyana (I am Indian) in 1986 when I was 13 years old, so I grew up here and me and my family adapted to the Canadian culture and love it. I've called this country my home for the last 40yrs and wouldn't want to live anywhere else. We live by the rules and laws of this Country as all other immigrant SHOULD. I hated it just as much when new immigrants come and try to impose their culture and way of life on us then complain when they meet resistance. It's simple, if you are planning to go live in a foreign country and you don't like or think you can handle the culture, then you shouldn't move there.

Well...we all see it, we all live it, we all know what the problem is, we all know how it came about, and we all know what has to happen...An example, can be seen, by looking to the South.. We know it takes us goin out to the poles by the millions, to vote, in order to elect, who we think is best for the country,..but then we expect small groups, of only a few100, to be capable of affecting change, with such major, post electoral issues, as this. Make no mistake, this, Canada, has already become a completely different place,..it's no longer the home we knew and loved, as it was. All those aspects are gone. And this is just the beginning. Wars Will Happen, in our cities.. Yes I'm just some guy that was born here in Canada, 61yrs ago. What I'm saying, is what I've been seeing, for decades. Rules and guidelines, and laws, need to passed. If you come to a foreign country, to live,..you practice, and learn their ways, and become one with them. None of this Social Separation B.S...If you want to live as you did in the country you left, find a secluded island, or go back to where you came from. It,s not just illegals that are being a problem.

Good the more immigrants that leave the better it will be for Canada they come here for a better life for safety for this for that they're all set up by the government giving houses cars don't have to worry about nothing it's all provided for them through the taxpayers money well the real Canadians are living out on the streets and eating out of garbage bins I don't have a bed or a roof over their heads due to the immigrants coming into our country then they come into our country in protest terrorist actions destroy our buildings are statues our churches block our streets hospitals shopping malls an etcetera they disrespect our rules and regulations and think they can voice their opinion on everything and get away with it they come here most of them with a green card as a visitor from another land overseas and yes they think they're a real Canadian but never contribute never done nothing for the country but just take from the real Canadians that made the country to what it is today and it's all government doing before they give a house or car or anything that they get the immigrants get if you're standing alongside of one peppermint will give it to the immigrant faster than what they'll give to a real Canadian they're more or less told to sleep on the streets and eat out of garbage bins because he's immigrants deserve nothing but the best in our country we have to show them that they are welcomed no they're not welcome anymore Canadian should come first not somebody that came in on a boat or an airplane from another country and overseas it's a government can't look after their own then they shouldn't be in the government because our prime minister is supposed to be protecting the real Canadians not the ones that are coming in over our borders I wonder if that's ever going to change probably not because they still need these foreigners votes just stay in the position where they're at Canada has become a very undeveloped country now in Canada has been put into a lot of danger due to the terrorism that's in our country from the people that they bought in our country from overseas I mean just look at all the protesting from the palestines and Hamas people what they've done so far to Canada we see it on the news just about every day ask for their rights anyways I can keep going on but it's not worth my time tomorrow is never promised it's just that I know Canada is sinking and sinking fast due to our government and their policies but when it sinks do you think the government's going to stand on board and go down with the ship nope I'll be in another country safe and sound

Brown people living in Western countries, never let your guard down. Never let yourself be lulled by the comfortable thought that just because you learnt english, got a PhD , worked an honest job , kept a friendly demeanour, people would automatically be nice to you. The world is full of unhappy people who would pounce at the opportunity to pull you down and the easiest way to do this is to attack your skin colour, your accent and your job. \n\nJust keep in mind that if you've been honest to yourself,you don't owe anything to anyone: not respect, not deference, not allegiance. Learn to give it right back. Learn to fight the prejudice in it's own terms. Be prepared for the consequences. And most importantly, never look at your motherland as a last resort. Leave your country for life in a foreign land with a goal to return.

I live in the middle of the country, 416,000 mortgage, stay at home wife with 2 young kids.\n\nWe are further and further into massive date.\n\nThis on a salary of 145,000\n\nYes it's personal info, but we all need to be more honest about this and show each other the complete disaster that we are all heading towards.\n\nChild preschool alone for me, being a 'successful' income earner, is 890 per month.\n\nI pay over 40% into tax system and get nothing in return.\n\nBillions\nare spent on failing 'free healthcare' (which isn't free, it's the highest thing we are taxed on and it sucke), \n\nMillions are spent on welfare state, homeless, drug addicts and criminals.\n\nMassive regulations and taxes are the key drivers of our slowing economy and negative foreign investment.\n\nSocial fragmentation is exasperated by massive immigration and an even more massive housing crises.\n\nPoliticians, lawyers and real estate agencies are to blame.\n\nWe've done this to ourselves. Saying yes to easy money in return to long term pain.\n\nTurning away from oil and other natural resources (commodity based dollar)into becoming a real estate based economy is the final nail in the coffin.\n\nNew immigrants are 32-34% migrant workers and 66-68% dependants. Dependants being peippe NOT paying into tax system. Thus, being a competent and utter burden on our already thinly stretched social services.

Hi I'm from Russia and I would say that mostly people who lives in english speaking countries they usually can only tell about wealth privilegues of having particular passport, offical status of their country and that's it. for my personal opinion the motherland is something that is more than that. I didn't travel much somewhere but I've been abroad and I would say - nowhere is better than here in Russia for me. And those people who just moved there to foreign counties from Russia as example they pretend that it's much better for them in completely alien country. that's a bull shit as I guess because each people is like a spider who since it was given a birth is spreading out it's net in particular place (their parents, friends, first love, lovely places, and etc) and since they moved somewhere all this NET will be torn for a long time or forever and never restored anymore. and for my personal opinion immigration is BULL SHIT and I would do it in a completely disparate situation. And I see nothing common with english speakers in mentality, everything that you're interested in is a personal wealth and interest in everything. Russians in this way are much better.

I've been replaced 4 times by foreigners. I worked at Amazon and the entire huge warehouse of hundreds of people was only East Indians with only me and 3 other white people. I worked at Ballard and the entire production floor could not speak English at a elementary school level and was replaced by a guy from Iran who had never been to Canada and was in the country for 1 month. All the shift mangers were from Iran and my section was only Iranians, East Indians and Chinese. I was the top production worker by far doing the work of 4 other workers proven by the actual numbers in an attempt to keep my job but still got removed of course to make way for more Iranians because it was obviously a way to bring their people here. Zero locals were in the entire production floor. I can not have the dignity to own my own home and never will be able to even though I grew up here went to collage and university and worked hard. Rent is beyond insane and they raise it the maximum legal amount every year which is huge. All my life I had to bow down to foreigners. The locals have lost their homes and can not buy another house or could never buy one and never will be able to. All are slaves to foreigners who think they are superior and treat them like garbage. The foreigners get help from the government somehow and get loans they never should be able to get because they have crooked contacts in the Chinese owned financial institutions. They then build 5 to 10 unbelievably horrible illegal suites and that is where most of the locals now have to live in. The neighbourhoods went from a very low population of Chinese and East Indians to insanely high levels such as 98 percent. There is no sense in complaining to any government body because the Chinese and East Indians have infiltrated those key positions and always side with their own kind. The legacy news/media is fully aware but are owned by foreigners and never will talk about these issues. Canada has for sure been invaded and taken over and is lost. No one is bringing it to light and worst is no one is trying to fight it. Any attempts you are labeled as a horrible racist.

This is bs. There are many people that voted for Trump that is against mass deportation of law abiding illegal immigrants, but are for deporting violent criminals and securing the border and keeping illegal immigration out. What about the dreamers? They should be exempt from deportation. They speak English, they've assimilated into American culture, they own businesses and most importantly, being deported back to Mexico is technically being deported to a foreign country they have never lived in.

Hi… I totally agree with just about everything you stated in all aspects of the Indian community. I’m a Canadian who happens to be living in Brampton for the past 12 years. I’ve watched Brampton go from a beautiful community to a dark dreaded place to live , and this is truly because of Indian behaviours. Mind you I have many genuinely good intelligent respectful Indian friends, but there’s the others that thinks they owe the city, province, and country. They don’t respect no one, and I mean no one. NOT EVEN THEIR OWN KIND (Indians/ Punjab). And yes as a Canadian citizen whenever I see something I do call them out on it. However; the moment you say something to them they assume that you’re cursing at them and what was ment to be a respectful comment becomes a situation where they want to argue and even get into a physical fight. Then there’s the bad, careless driving on the streets with no regards to the next person’s life. They drive like their car is the only one on the street yet always looking for someone to race with not to mention the illegal U-TURN creating major accidents. I personally experienced this when a Tractor Trailer Driver tried making a U-TURN on the city street with only 4 lanes for both direction at 4AM in the morning. This caused me to almost ran under the trailer body which would have been the end of my life. They butt into lines and interrupts as much as business conversations thinking their concerns are way more important than anyone else’s and That’s just to name a few things.\nNow on the other hand I do have VERY GOOD RESPECTFUL INDIAN FRIENDS who I will never let go of our friendship because of their genuine respectful relationship although even those close friends are now pulling themselves away from their own country people and all because of the others behaviour.\nThirdly; YES, the Canadian government invites foreign students into the country with improper sources to monitor and direct a governing body to monitor and process the activities of foreign students .\n\nI love your honesty in your stories back your video clips as proof of your country men behaviour. Keep up your good work and try spreading your positivity among your community.

10y in Germany, naturalized German now. I’ve done my PhD here and I have a great job in an American company. German society is possibly the most unwelcoming in the world, and I’ve lived and worked in 7 countries. Germany needs workers, but Germans hates foreign workers.

Canada is dead. Sold to foreign entities on mass. By 2050 stats say we will be living in a third world country. This election means nothing it’s rigged already. End is near run while you can. I’ve sold everything I own. We are paying the 250k to leave burn our passports. Canada is no place for children

I was born and grew up in Mississauga Canada, lived here my entire life. I've seen the defecation of this country in the last 10 years under this liberal extremists Trudeau rule. I see no potential anymore to stay in Canada. Yes I can work but i am paying everything to the government and its not like they are putting money into the community, they spend it on themselves, foreigners, to other countries nothing helps Canadas infrastructure. Canada is GONE! it will get worse before it gets better. PP wont be able to change it as its already at a severe loss. move to another country, weather is better, taxes are lower, people are friendlier, crime is less, there are options! people are just too scared or ignorant to go find out, they seem too comfortable or institutionalize here to leave

It takes 15% of immigrants up to 20 years to realize they've been duped and that the cost of living in Canada is too expensive? I'm surprised that the number of immigrants that choose to leave is not a lot higher, and that they don't do it much sooner. Those with marketable skills (doctorates, degrees, etc) are told by Immigration Canada that the country needs people with their skills. However, it's only AFTER they move here that they find out their foreign credentials are worthless in Canada. It's all a big scam and IC should be ashamed of themselves for selling would-be newcomers a bill of goods.

Being an Indian living in India I can tell you one thing that mostly people who are not 'good enough' in anything pay lumsum amount of money to move to Canada. For instance, most of the students going to Canada for study, lack foundational knowledge that should've been taught to them at school. Take a GRE-like exam by randomly selecting Indians residing in this area and u will understand what I'm talking about. Unfortunately, the current Canadian govt knows this and capitalise on this problem as they have turned the education system of Canada into a money-vending machine. Furthermore, no skill development opportunities and lack of jobs intensify these problems as these individuals are never exposed in a multicultural urban setting. That is why likeminded individuals aggregate and live in silos. Lastly, for my Indian brothers and sisters, I would like to say that yall should try to assimilate with the culture rather than live in silos. That doesn't necessarily mean yall should abandon ur religion and culture, but try to participate more in various activities associated with Canadian culture. Like Im a Hindu, but I participate in Eid & Christmas as well in India.. We should be open to new experiences, especially when moving to a foreign country, one should be able to adapt.. just like one adapts to the weather, one should also embrace the culture.. Try talking to people who are 'non-Indians', have a genuine conversation, find out the history of the place and various other key milestones in the region.. mostly engage in amicable social behaviour. Holding grudge & closing doors to new interactions would not solve anything, neither for Canadians nor for immigrants.. Live and let live.. Cheers!

Some of the stats cited here are straight up wrong or... creatively employed, and there's a lot of contradictory information and the typical conservative 'the sky is falling' sensationalism and misattribution. That said, the bas supposition isn't wrong. The bubble we've been sitting on for 20 or so years has completely burst. As someone born and raised in the Toronto area, it's impossible for me to afford to own a house or apartment here on a teacher's salary. Even rent pushes me to the limit unless I want to live in a... less than nice area. I'm living hand to mouth and enjoying the benefits of living in a 'developed' country less. Here's why:\n\n1. Wages aren't really even close to keeping up with the cost of living. The first tick upwards a bit. The second just keeps rising on the back of housing, food, amenities, and inflation: the four horsemen.\n\n2. Our grocery cabal ruthlessly raise prices whenever we look away, and their lobbyists are all ensconced within the leadership of our three major parties, particularly the Conservatives (so if anyone thinks that electing them will help, they're in for a nasty surprise).\n\n3. We're experiencing 'labour shrinkflation': increasing duties are downloaded onto workers and more is expected: more productivity, more availability (almost 24/7 in some jobs), and higher qualifications. Meanwhile, real wages are decreasing relative to living cost, more positions are 'contract', which is basically a way for employers to not have to give you benefits, and job security is tenuous for a lot of people.\n\n4. Houses are being bought by investors and not owners. Foreign entities are money laundering. The wealthy upper crust of high population countries are moving here and buying property because Canada is (still) more safe and stable and less repressive than their home countries in most cases. \n\n5. There's a cycle beginning: as people are squeezed and forced to spend more on 'needs', they spend less on eating out, entertainment, and other 'wants'. These are significant drivers of the service economy and they're being hit hard. So, what can they do? They can let go of workers or lower product costs to remain profitable, but they their quality declines and, in a market where people are pinching every penny and looking for quality for their dollar, they're less likely to go back. They can raise their prices, of course, but then they price people out completely and their profits still tank. I went to a decent steakhouse for my dad's 60th last week. I can't remember the last time that I went to one before that. \n\n6. Our politicians and news cycles focus on the most niche and irrelevant stuff because it'll stoke anger and get tongues wagging. This carbon thing is almost a non-issue, but our conservative leader is harping on about it like it's singlehandedly the death of the Canadian economy when it's a drop in the bucket. Trudeau focuses on 'equity' measures, hoping for a bit of cheap good press, while his efforts are, for the most part, just window dressing and the issues, while meaningful, are often not of paramount importance or even applicable to the vast majority of the people who elected him. Meanwhile, the middle class is pretty much evaporating as he speaks. The NDP keep talking about this in a pretty real way, for what it's worth, but Jagmeet Singh is giving off an increasing vibe of just being another fat cat politician beneath his rhetoric these days. Also, third-party trolls and screeching conservatives try to bury him on social media whenever he speaks... a lot more than other leaders as well, oddly. I wonder why? Oh yeah, the Greens exist and there's Quebec and the conspiracy theory party.\n\n\nUltimately, what we're experiencing is the revenge of the feudal system. Instead of paying rents to your lord and doing labour on the land for him whenever commanded to, you pay rent to your landlord now and go to work even when you're sick or when work hours are over because you have no union protection or are working 'on contract'. Unless we want to live in the armpit of nowhere, 95% of us are going to be wage slaves living hand-to-mouth, not owning our own property, and working to please our corporate overlords if current trends continue unchecked. While some of Canada's problems are unique, I fear that most aren't. As for me, I'm headed to the 'armpit of nowhere' where I can at least have a ghost of a chance of affording life.

This whole situation is the Federal Government’s responsibility \n\nBusinesses want cheap workers \nSo they say they can’t get Canadian workers,, which is a lie…they can \nSo these businesses can get the federal government to give a grant you pay half the wages of foreign temporary workers \nYet they all become permanent residents, with no intention to ever leave. Further the government and businesses won’t pay Canadians a living wage, instead let them be homeless and get foreign workers to all live in one house or room and pay them cheap. \n\nThe true Canadian citizens in Canada are treated as second class citizens in their own country \nBecause the government is treating the people of Canada as commodities, easily disposable. \nLook at maid policies for goodness sake. \nLook at Veterans \nIf you can’t work because your disabled or senior \nThe government is literally writing you off as disposable \n\nGovernment is running the Canadian people and the country into the ground \n\nWhen are people of this country going to have a say in their own affairs \n\nGovernment spending for one should be held accountable to the people of this country!\n\nThe government is completely corrupt as we are seeing with our own eyes.\n\nThe amount of tents for the homeless is out of control \nYet, the government is putting refugees in hotels and feathering their nest for one whole year! \nSo the refugees can work save all their money and their housing and meals are paid for. In the meantime the refugees are taking out credit cards right left and center and driving our country more into debt than ever before.\nCanadians got a reputation as being “nice”\nAt the expense of being nice, inclusive and welcoming \nCanada is destroying itself\n\nI can tell you that a Canadian would never be able to go to their countries and get away with what they’ve received here in Canada..,and there is no one else to blame except the Federal Government and Large Corporations who are feeding each other hand over fist. It’s complete hypocrisy and corruption. \n\nAn independent review of the government needs to take place and those responsible held accountable.\n\nNever have I ever seen Government being held accountable for any wrongdoings. \n\nThings need to start changing \nPeople need to start opening their eyes to what is really happening in this country. \n\nAs a Canadian I am disgraced with how this country is being run into the ground. \nAnd how the Federal government is turning its back on its own citizens that worked hard for this country.

Because it comes off as like a bragging or a snobbery and I don't go for that. I just want to put it out there Canada is not a destination for purely economic exploitation. \nIt's a place you know for people who I saw people from the former Yugoslavia comment online. I live in Calgary Alberta Canada which is the third or fourth biggest city of Canada experiencing record migration into the town so yeah there's big pressure on new housing. \nI just like to put it out there that I love California and raised lots of generations here not a fanatical American now you know Canada first kind of you know raw raw patriotic Canadian. The worst mistake during the pandemic lockdown in Canada was the government shoveling out free money and people reinvesting it back into their real estate. So you have billions of Canadians locked out of their jobs big shovel taxpayer money and they all just started renovating their homes. To the point where sheets of plywood were you couldn't find them and they went up 100 times and price. Solo's hundreds of billions of dollars that the government's going to take back and taxes from us all draw the cost of housing through the roof. Instead of at the time redirecting half of those two it was 500 billion take a half of that investment in putting it into infrastructure technology innovation for industries. Our education systems from kindergarten through to postsecondary education and spending it on the Canadians that were here. We've turned our post-secondary institutions in Canada into diploma Mills where you know your VA and your you know postgraduate degrees or you know they're worthless. However the government and the education system grew into a very profitable industry grinding out worthless degree after worthless degree for foreign students who thought when they got these degrees with 50% of Canadians have. People have to realize that post-secondary education is a big business so they're going to sell you a dream that's going to cost you a lot of money what I suggest is when YouTubers want to do something on Canada do some proper research let people know that we really do have quality post-secondary education system but you have to look at when you graduate those jobs going to be there to pay that large salary does White collar jobs are disappearing almost gone I purchase an app for my company with small company about 10 employees this inexpensive app alone has taken my office staff from 7: to 2: I have a 10 Red seal tradesman tradeswomen these 10 highly skilled trades people earn between 125 and 145,000 a year in gross salary and I need five more of these highly skilled people and I can't find them cuz everybody's running in to get a useless postgraduate degree. I do find it slightly offensive that a lot of new immigrants new Canadians immigrate to Canada to purely exploit it for its wealth Canada should be looked at as a place to come put your hard work in the struggles the ups and downs? and look at it as your home instead of you know a piggy bank but people are going to leave and there's a long line up to get in I've seen in my 40 year career you know three major reps and three major downs. What's happening in Canada's economy and the economies around the world it's all the same the US economy's doing quite well and talked to last couple of weeks friends that have invested their and families have been there long-term at present the United States is building a war economy so there's money pouring into that effort it does have a booming you know Hi-Tech boom as well however the tech boom is offshore with American companies and it's taking place in a part of the world that no one would think it would take place so if your graduate in the tech industry go online do a little research you'll find out where it is the USA is building a huge chip factories I think they just poured in 70 or 80 billion dollars we're in a transitioning economy don't get discouraged put your head into it do your homework find out where these new jobs are coming from which jobs are not going to be here. Traditional White collar you know middle management upper management jobs they've been gone for years everyone's think of themselves as an independent contractor. I'm all for immigration to help a country grow however, what Canada has done is first, bring in too many at once and not INTEGRATED the new comers. \n\nFact is, if you want to go to a country because of their freedom and job opportunity then don't come and try to change the country into what you just fled from!!\n\nAnd this is what has happened. For example, in 2023 alone, in just one region (Central Canada) around 400 people arrived per day (on average). Ditto for other populated provinces. Also the number of international students SKYROCKETED too. In 2023, averaging around 2,000 per day across Canada. Years 2021 and 2022 had high #s too. \n \nThe majority trying to migrate to Canada recently have been from South Asia. And it's become extremely obvious to Canadians. Even those that are very used to much diversity & many cultures. Plus neighborhoods now know that international students are using schooling as a 'back door' ticket to come to Canada for permanent residency. No one says it in public amongst strangers, but everyone knows because they've witnessed the extreme PR frenzy firsthand by now. To many Canadians it has felt like a tidal wave that has reached all cities and small towns, with a post secondary school. This extreme situation never existed prior to 4 years ago.\n \nHospitals have been hit with many wanting free healthcare. Less doctors/nurses etc., means greater waiting times. Plus a VERY SEVERE HOUSING CRISIS has occurred in many western countries including in Canada. In ways not seen in people's lifetimes. And if you do find a place to live its quite expensive. Including small basement rooms. \n \nNow westerners want the money greedy agents (pseudo smugglers) in other countries to stop marketing & LYING to their own people about access to PR or citizenship … or accommodation/jobs … being easy (to get). And for any greedy people living in western countries to be ashamed of themselves if they're hurting students. Anyone doing things to make $ off of people's PR desires. At best, there is a 25% chance of gaining PR (better odds if you are masters/medicine etc.). \n \nNot all players across the board have acted honestly over the years, i.e. contract marriages (IELTS spouse), anchor babies, fraud, false asylum claims. Canada has asked the India government to prevent “ghost consulting”. The new PRIVATE (non-public) colleges are being investigated (including looking for strong oversea ties). \n \nCanadians are meeting students who told Canada they have enough $, but it turns out they borrowed it (some borrowed it for the application process only). Canadian food banks and other CHARITY services have been recklessly advertised on YouTube (by India students in Indian language). Many transit services have launched stricter rules, i.e. lost monthly bus passes registered in your name are now never replaced (unlike before). \n \nThen this year throw in all the Palestinian vs Israeli angry protests happening regularly in cities. Plus the Sikh vs Hindu violence/extortion mostly happening in Ontario and British Columbia. Plus the Canadian government also recently launched investigations in regards to foreign interference in Canadian elections. All stemming from Asia continent. Hate crimes have gone from rare to occasional (primarily South Asians against South Asians). \n \nCanadians are so so so so so not used to all this. So many, who have embraced multi-culturalism and immigration for decades are now VERY worried and fearful (due to all of the above). And all are praying it doesn't turn into great anger (like in the USA). \n \nCanadians want multi-culturism to succeed … and for all people (including immigrants) to be okay. Everyone I know is VERY happy with Canada Immigration's recent changes (reductions & investigations). Including multi-generational long-term Asian-Canadians where many have been the most upset (by all of this).

India brings a complete opposite religion, language and ideology to foreign countries. It’s the Indian the does not participate in community activities, and integrate into a true Canadian national identity. This refusal has ultimately resulted in Indian being discouraged and quickly blaming others for the problem they have. If rent in downtown Vancouver on the 25th floor is to expensive, maybe try moving to more rural communities in Canada, where costs are different in living. If you come from a poor punjab province in India whereas you’ve sold the farm to come , then don’t expect a downtown Toronto sky rise , 1500 square foot 17th floor underground heated parking, to be the dream destination of your vision. It’s comparable to moving from the punjab to downtown Delhi and expecting the same cost comparisons to the punjab. Unfortunately it’s not sad to see the Indian people go. Hopefully Canada will begin immigration of more cultural like minded people and more people that have religious alliances, than some completely opposite ideology than a Canadian nationalist.

How about you get an education in your own country. I'm Aussie and we set limits on our own people at University and their education so that they can profit of foreign students, most being from China and India even though they have the 2nd and 3rd highest GDP's in the world and 1st and 2nd highest populations in the world, so they should be able look after their own instead of jeopardising the education of our own, but then Goverment will say we need to increase immigration to 400,000 a year ( just hit 27 million, 2 decades before we ment too) of mainly skilled workers who got their skill and education from our nation instead from their own people. All of this during a housing crisis, cost of living crisis, small job market and overwhelming Immigration. Dumbest plan I've ever heard.

If you want a citizenship I don't suggest you go to any gulf countries, of course ignore any war countries, Malaysia and Indonesia have nice people and I think you can get a citizenship there, Jordan might be a good choice you might be able to get a citizenship and there are diverse groups of people but the economy and civil status laws aren't exactly that great, now Egypt is definitely a choice but the country is kinda drifting off of Islam in the recent years, terrible economic conditions and I don't think a citizenship is possible really, I'm not much aware of the Arab west countries but they have their pros and cons definitely, lots of people there speak other languages and there's some beautiful culture and a considerable amount of political safety compared to other countries in the region, other than the occupation Palestine would've been a great choice lots of foreigners live here but I'm not sure what requirements you need for that and I'm pretty sure they probably wouldn't let you do so as Muslims, I have very little knowledge but I wanted to share what I can, I hope it helps.

To put simply, we have an incredibly spoiled population, a population that expects low prices for everything and has a terrible productivity overall and does not wish to work in the kinds of jobs that every economy needs in order to fuel everything else. Food production is the so-called inceptive value. The more food you produce, the more people can consume it, and this in turn flows through the economy to enable all the other kinds of economic activity. We have to bring in hundreds of thousands of temporary foreign workers from Mexico just to be able to harvest. In the past, Canada allowed immigration from all over the world of people who were mostly poor, refugees, and those desperate for a new life. They worked all the time doing every kind of imaginable job in every kind of condition. They built this country with their perseverance and hard work. The immigrants today, are selected on a points-based system, and the idea behind this is that someone with two university degrees, or trained in a profession, even if they don't work in their field in Canada because they're all sorts of barriers to transferring your education, are not very likely to be criminals or antisocial types. Criminals or antisocial types. In other words, Canada has chosen to attract high quality candidates on the assumption that they would be less likely to become criminals, while they in turn, having been picked from the best in their society, arrive in Canada with very high expectations, and discover that actually they're going to have to work in all sorts of other kinds of jobs and will probably not work in their field, even though that's what got them the points to come to the country. This is the brilliant system brought in by Stephen Harper's conservatives, which brings in people with high education, and allegedly high skills, especially high language skills, so the government doesn't have to pay for their language training, but it doesn't consider the fact that these are very often people with other choices, who are not willing to work in construction or farming or service or retail or all those kinds of things that we desperately need workers in. The reason why we can't build enough housing has nothing to do with local governments and property values. It has to do with lack of labor. This education system, for some unbeknowned reason, is absolutely terrible, and provides basically no skills, training or education for the vast majority of high school students such that when they graduate high school, their forced to go to university or college. Since they have absolutely no training. In most parts of the world you finish high school and you have a trade, or you have some skill to begin working, the kids here know nothing. Nothing. Other than emotional safety, intersectional language, and wokeism. On top of that, the government has brought in every kind of environmental restriction and regulation on account of incredibly loud, but actually small minority of enviro lunatics, who most of the time use these environmentalism as a cover precisely for protecting their high property values in very luxurious and special places around the country, and they oppose logging and all sorts of resource extraction under the guise of environmentalism. But it's actually to preserve their special privileged position often in some wilderness or island, where they might be the only one or a handful of families who got lucky to somehow own a property. Property and so they oppose everything on account of environmental reasons. But it's just to keep people out and preserve their own privileged place. This country also as most others suffers from the illness of dishonesty and lack of integrity brought about by a culture of marketers where nothing is the way it is said to be. Everything is a fine print. And we have gotten used to this as normal. We've gotten used to having credit cards, charges, 25% interest, we've gotten used to being ripped off constantly by all the corporations for everything, and nobody complains and they just borrow more and they just bottle it in and now it's finally coming out. Out. People are fed up of the enviral lunatics. They're fed up of people who complain and bitch one moment about the pipeline and then complain and bitch the next moment about the high cost of gasoline when the pipeline is temporarily shut down for servicing. The problem with Canada is Canadians.

Good solid takes on life in Canada as it stands in the larger cities. My family immigrated in the late 80s when I was a young child to YYZ and the housing prices and quality of living was really solid back then. We moved to YVR in the late 90s and prices seemed to be pretty stable as well. Think things started to change shortly after my undergrad years in the mid 2000s. Unfortunately, the government wanted to increase immigration which is great, but forgot to build out the transportation infrastructure and develop the health care system properly. Foreign credential recognition is really the biggest bottleneck for newcomers. Newcomer employment expectations and what is available to them is not really matching up, I know this first hand as I've worked in the employment enabling sector. Weather as you mentioned is subjective, I prefer the cold, clean crisp air here in Canada, I don't do well in the hot humid polluted weather in most East and Southeast Asian countries. Crime has definitely been on the rise as many people around me have had personal experiences with this topic. Finally housing, to live comfortably in YVR a family income of 150K is probably bare minimum these days.

It's unconscionable that we've invited people to come to Canada without actually following through on the promise we made to them in the first place. Was there ever any intent on actually doing something for these poor people beyond a sound bite or photo op? \n\nThe solution to migration because of war, terror, famine and so on is not by opening up the borders and allowing everyone in, the solution to mass migrations (over 100 million worldwide) is to tackle the conditions that make such migrations necessary. Almost without exception, each one of these migrant/refugee situations are the result of political problems that have to be tackled in those countries where the conditions exist. There are over 100 million people fleeing conditions that make life unbearable, even if we wanted to, how are we to take them all into North America? How does anyone propose we do that, and even if we could manage it somehow, another 100 million would show up on our doorstep next year...or next week...it's simply not possible or reasonable to expect us to be overwhelmed by wave after wave of the poor unfortunate. The solutions to war and famine abroad can't be found here and we need to make it plain that people who live in such conditions must first rise up to help themselves. We can and should help, politically, through foreign aid and individual donations (North Americans are among the most generous donators after all), and even militarily where feasible or possible. The UN and other coalitions of nations, must each take up the burdens before people smugglers take it up for them. We have our own problems to deal with here and I'm not willing to vote for promises made that were never meant to be kept.

I was born and raised on the east coast of Canada, lived in Vancouver and visited Montréal Edmonton, Calgary with the acception of Winnipeg I’ve seen every major city in Canada. \n\nI will always have pride for my country and love for my family there but it has changed dramatically since 2010.\n \nI will say the transportation in Canadian cities are better and so is the crime and the food but you have to drive a minimum of an hour to get anywhere outside the city, your not leaving that city without a car and good luck surviving without a car outside the city, and VIA rail is way overpriced. The GO train is nice though.\n\nLiving in America it has changed a lot since covid too though people are a lot more desperate and you can feel it but people are too prideful to admit, where in Canada people are struggling and they dress and look terrible and fail to dress nice because there is less prideful.\n\nCanadians are not nice people they are passive aggressive and will not got out of their way to help you most of the time (modern day) kind of like Californians.\nThe east coast Americans are rude and trashy but they will help you if you show respect. You're not correct about the Quebec government banning the hijab - actually they ban all forms of religious expression in clothes worn at work by public servants - so don't criticize us unless you get the facts straight. All countries are facing public health crisis especially in the aftermath of a global pandemic, you mention how long it could take to get an MRI - weeks/months, but it's no worse than in the UK, or other western countries. I do agree with you about limited competition in banking and tech - but we're still a young and growing country, however, look at the global recession that took place in 2007 - Canada was least affected by mortgage default, the US was hit the worst and hundreds of thousands had their homes foreclosed by the Banks, yet in Canada because of our strict banking policies we were saved and the Banks worked with defaulters to try to keep their homes. Taxes, well most countries require you to file your own taxes at the end of the year - what's so strange about that? Yes sales tax is added onto the sales price depending on what province and what you are purchasing, same as US, just because it's not the same in Europe doesn't mean it's worse! Listen, when you're a newcomer to any country you need to fit in when looking for a job, put in the effort, take the time, do the work, any country is going to expect you to be able to speak the language and know the lingo, so I don't agree with your analysis that Canadians are risk adverse! You are 100% correct about the housing crisis, listen it's been going on everywhere for decades, and international investors in the past 10 years or so woke up and noticed that Canada was a great bet for investment, so the problem got really bad. The government just passed a 2 year moratorium on non Canadians buying real estate - as have many other countries, so fingers crossed no more new foreign landlords just regular Canadians buying their first homes, let's hope so!! I've lived many years in Europe - and I loved it! But the quality of life in Canada is better. If you don't live in the crowded city you can have a nice property with lots of space, good roads, not bad school system, very friendly and helpful people. Quebec has some of the best food on the North American continent, we have clean air and lots of water in Canada - I'm very happy here, so don't be so negative please!
