There's a piece missing in the puzzle. Has anyone asked where's Mexico in all of this? everyone seems to forget that they're America's southern neighbor, and they're not helping with anything to mitigate the border crisis. Mexico has to be sanctioned, because they're not actively partaking in the protection of the shared border with the US, they're allowing immigrants to cross the border unchecked, sparing themselves the trouble of dealing with them. They're throwing the ball in America's court, making immigration America's problem. Since they share the border with America, they have an obligation to combat illegal immigrantion but they're not doing that. They want to get rid of their crimnals and the poverty in their country not by enforcing the law and trying to invest in their infrastructure to enhance the living standards of their people, instead they're encouraging them to move to America to find a better life. America doesn't have to pay the price of Mexico being a failed country. They're turning their backs on their own citizens and trying to get rid of them, obliging them to take the perilous journey across the border where they're prone to crime, drugs, rape, human trafficking, sex trafficking, child abuse and all sorts of tragedies but to them the ends justify the means, and they have the nerves to call America racist and inhumane for not rescuing them from the situation that they created for them in the first place. Since the vast majority of illegal immigrants came across the border with Mexico, they should be deported back to Mexico, and Mexico can take it from there, not our problem anymore

Honestly as an Immigrant I was definitely lied to by the country of Canada, and tbh this concern is lined with racism to an extent, but there are some valid concern for the most part. \n\nCanadian universities came to me high school, one of the academically successful high schools on my island and tried to take every single high performing student. Honestly immigrantion is an issue for everyone, but it won’t stop until the bigger western countries stop making oppressive laws forcing people out of their country. \n\nThis is not the immigrants problem, Canada is the problem. Also I lived in Toronto, the biggest issue is NOT immigration, the issue is the fact that they are tearing down cultural institutions to build condos. condos are a bigger problem than immigrants. Canada does need lots off immigrants to stave off a demographic collapse. But immigrantion means housing issues. And it's not like the US or Europe where most of the immigrants will be on the lower-side of the skilled labor pool: the average immigrant to Canada will be better educated and have more earning potential than the average native. They're going to make more and buy better houses. That WILL cause social problems, no matter what you think of the issue.

When it comes to housing, Canada copied the worst parts of American suburbia. Zoning laws prevent density and public transit is almost non existent with people being dependent on petro. The United States has many of the same problems as Canada at a local and state level. The federal government can't do much to stop it. They need to decrease immigrantion while building more density to help smooth this out, but even the average Canadian has NIMBYISM that Trudeau can't fix.

I use to be an imagrant in Canada but I’ve been living here for 8 years so I got my passport and citizenship and it’s fun here just very cold I’ve been here for 8 years I can withstand the could but some people can’t in the winter so that’s one of the immigrantion problems in Canada it’s super cold so come in the summer
