I dont think deportations are happening. Canadians do not have the resources to track these visa violators.

Wouldn't the fact that the city council, allocated that money AFTER the ice raids took place. Pretty much in response to them, as an emergency to basically help hide the migrants, wouldn't that make them complicit in aiding and abetting or harboring a fugitive? I heard something about the way Miss AOC has been going online producing videos, instructing people how to avoid/escape ICE agents, was pushing the limits on the law. That she might get in trouble for it. Then surely the city council, knowingly providing this money for the purpose of helping migrants, NOT GET DEPORTED, really needs to be looked into. Taxing the American's living in NY out the *ss, just to spend that tax money on stuff the citizens, DONT WANT THEM spending it on. I think the act of handing over $2 million dollars, just to help hide the illegal immigrants, while at the same time raising taxes for the actual legal citizens who are NOT benefiting AT ALL, from all this money being spent when, THEY ARE THE ONES WHO ARE ACTUALLY PAYING IT IN, should definitely be crossing the line....

I dont remember president Trump saying certain illegals would be deported. He said all illegals. So why would any race think thry wouldnt be

Why do they want to be where they are not wanted? They will only live in fear of deportation. I think all of Europe and the West need to pull all aide to tbese countries. They dont care about the people whos countries they invade.

That remain in Mexico will not last forever, Mexico knows that its a farce, the U.S dont care about those people. and by the way, there's thousands of migrants working and living in Mexico, remaining in Mexico, very few if any will be allowed in anyway, the border is all screw up and there is to much anti-migration racism and lies about migrant's, and few Mexicans are crossing the border illegally, not even migrating, in Mexico's case, migration is in reverse and American are invading Mexico to live a better economic life, many especially in Mexican border cities live in Mexico illegally, best hope they dont start massive deportation's (becouse the U.S. only thinks they have homeless now) Thank God for Mexico

First million to be the criminals is the way to go. The streets are not safe with these criminals and gangs. Not all migrants are criminals but those who are robbing and stealing are causing too much ruckas. And next comes the ones that dont do shit that contributes to society. The working ones can stay. However those setting up illegal kitchens and vendors should start paying tax and stop just living off the benifits of the taxes we pay. Not all need to be deported some do benifit the society. Beeing a ex undocument imigrant from US, i desagree with the former director. You dont need to Chase down ilegals, you just have to shutdown their Bank accounts , requesting agencies to ask for proof of social securty number and and apply huge fines over companies that hire ilegals. Gradually, they wont be able to stay and leave. I am not saying i am in favor of mass deportation. I think there is a better way to fix the system and absorv their work force in to segments that demands their labor, but to deport them its not that complicated.

I think it was on NBC where they interviewed an immigrant family who came here illegally, but were given citizenship under Reagans amnesty program. The whole family, parents and kids voted Trump and support his deportation policy. When ask they admitted they had several relatives in the states who are here illegally, but they dont think Trump will deport them because they work and are productive. ?

I dont think theyre going to mass deport people but I do think come 2025 its going immediately get WAY harder to sneak into the country. Plus all those flights in from Haiti are stopping immediately.

Dont cut immigration down.....tell me how did Indian intl student makes up about more than 80% out of all international students. Why didnt the government put a cap or a stop specifically just for Indian people? Why didnt the immigration look deep before giving student visa just like a snap of a finger and see if they can support themselve for school and living expense. \n\nI am an immigrant myself but when i decided to come to canada as a student. I made sure i had enough funds to sustain myself here in canada for 2 years until i can get my work permit then a head to PR. Nowdays I see a lot of international Students get access or abusing goverment facilities and benefits for which not entitle for them but Canadian residence only (PR or Canadian Citizen). I never ask for Cerb when covid happen, never ask food bank my part time job can fullfill that, paid my fare for using transportation, paid my rents and utilities on time and paid my credit cards. Lastly i never complaint focus on my study and I get good high paying jobs. I am proud to contribute to Canadian Economy as an Immigrant.\n\nThe question is are they doing the same? If you cannot sustain yourself dont add your burden to the country. We (Canadian Residence) paid heavy taxes from our sweat to cover ur burden and debt. Put yourseld in our position and you know what I mean.\n\nCanadian Goverment is too nice compare to other western country go and take a look at the US, Australia, British, New Zeland and Europe Nation. If u cannot sustain yourself do you think those gov at given country will give a care abt you? the 70,000 students were coming in illegally i believe, 70k out of 1million+ that have come per year isn't so bad. I blame this whole situation 100% on the government and it totally does suck that these 70k people coming in are going to be deported but again there were and are so much scams that have been going on. If they lied and cheated on the system i don't think we should feel bad. Canada used to have higher standards. My family obviously are immigrant too but there has been no background checks, no proper procedure in the last few years and 2 races have been getting preferential treatment. Most if not all people that come in from Africa are left on the streets while the your country men, indian, and white looking are given a free house, food budget, and dont have to work.. We paying more for taxes and the government has increased work force by 40% yet wait time for services has trippled 3X, make it make sense.

No Offence to anyone but when you applied to come here as a student or tfw you had to prove and swear that you will go back home once your studies or work permit is done , its a part of the cbsa and irrc questioning if your protesting you are breaking the rules and laws of your visa and you are subject to deportation because you lied to immigration and the cbsa , i lived in another country for 3 years during covid i could stay up to 3 years with my visa , my last renewal the officer told me sir this is the last renewal you will have to leave so that is what i did i respected the laws of the host country and went home , i feel sorry the students were lied to by the schools the government and THEIR own People telling them they will get pr give us 20k-30k cdn $ but thats not our problem .... vet the agencies yourself before applying , come here legally and there is no issue , but don't think our country has to give you pr or CITIZONSHIP just because you spent allot of money or worked here pr and CITIZONSHIP is a privilege NOT A RIGHT , when you had the interview with immigration and the cbsa what did you Promise i will leave didn't you ? time to start packing like i did go home and better your country with the knowledge you go from here if you dont break the rules you can always come back Legally god bless and good luck

I dont think he should be deported but he should be banned from ever driving another truck or any other vehicle.

So many chuds in the comments if you’re so worried about the border sign up. Get out there build some houses and pick the fruit. And to the people saying they come here for free money, THEY DONT HAVE SSN. They cannot apply for benefits at all. The idea they come here and don’t want to be deported but tell the government where they are to get benefits is so fucking dumb that you have to be brain damaged to think that.

What most of them dont realize is they will be deported to their country of origin, not back to the US where they were illegals. The only country who cant refuse them is their native country. They need to think about the consequences of that.

To all the people saying why dont these immigrants stay in their county to make it better---here is a little think piece because i used to say the same thing\n\ni used to say the same thing but we are blindsighted by your american privilege. My parents are immigrants and i told them the same thing, why dont people stay to make their country better? And they flat out told me it will get you killed. Americans have no idea how coniving amd evil leaders in other countries can be. Just the other day, a dictator from eritrea was bargaining prices with Israel to send back refugees from his country. He said the refugees fleeing his regime should be given 50k to be deported from isreal because they risked their lives. You would think he really meant that right? As soon as those refugees come back hes taking that money and sending them to a forced slavery like military program. There is no such thing as human rights. So if you were in such a dire situation, dont you think you would do anything to get out? The only solution i see is if the entire world could be under a larger, strong governing force that keeps leaders in check and can withold vital resources from offenders. The UN isnt cutting it.
