It's not race that makes countries great or bad. Since there is just one human race. Its the culture that makes places great. Culture or shared ideas among the populace. Specially ideas of being open minded, living and letting live, freedom, being tolerant etc. These are the best ideas or culture that if held long enough by the majority of the people will turn that place into a great civilization indeed. Every great civilization of history was built through this culture in history. persian empire, macedonian empire, roman empire, british empire and now the united states etc... were/are all very diverse and very tolerant of indians and their ideas... cultural exchange of ideas through indians and receiving diverse viewpoints which helped them become great. However great empires, great places and civilizations never last. They fall down. They fall down once the culture changes. which is natural since culture is not static but dynamic, since it exists only in the minds of people, it can change in the same generation, or in the next - all it takes is replacing existing ideas with other ideas in the minds of people large enough. This is what we are seeing happening in canada and India... a shift of culture. The same culture of responsible for turning India into a terrible country is being adopted by canadians. Meanwhile for the past few decades.. india on the other hand has been adopting the better culture and growing slowly and steadily with many mistakes and hurdles along the way towards a brighter future... slowly because its huge... steadily because it knows where to go.... mistakes and hurdles because its an open democracy... If this cultural shift keeps continuing this way... There will come a time where canada would look more like afghanistan and India will look like the us or scandinavia... However i hope thats not the case. and its just a phase that does not lead to some significant revolution in terms of peoples thinking.

Had fellow college students that have literally told me that they aren't here to learn and are here to just finish the college program to get a job because they would earn more doing any job in Canada than in India. Honestly, they are great people and I think they bring a lot of culture and family orientation back to Canada I feel like it’s roots. I know it's not on most people's radar, but what is a huge problem that no one talks enough about is how when so many temporary foreign workers come here, they make money in Canadian dollars and then send that money out of our economy to their home Country. So our Canadian dollars are sold, and isn't spent in our Economy. When you go somewhere and you don't see any born in Canada employees you really need to make a choice to not support that business. Canadian wages should go to Canadians and spent in our economy. I hope we wise up and we start to really limit how many people we bring into the Country. We're literally bringing in 400K+ people that's about the size of Halifax, EVERY year. We just cannot support this rapid growth. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I came here 25 years ago from India. While growing up, I would go to the terrace of my home and turn the antenna to get Cbc at night. I watched Air Farce One, the green show, NFB and Cbc and was always fascinated with Canada. I knew then when I was 20 that I will make Canada home. I wrote my IELTS ENGLISH test, studied here with good grades. And I did. I have an amazing career and young kids. And I have loved everyday of it.
