Isn't that sick 2 people? 7 or 8 years in jail for peaceful protest. I hope so many Canadians come out to defend them. I'll be one of them. Government. Pretty d*** disgusting, Trudeau. I am a Republican leaning American who did not vote for Trump (never voted for him), and I urge every country to stand up to bullying tactics of Trump. I am relatively rich, so this fluctuating market or rising egg prices will not affect me; poorer people than me will be affected greatly. And ironically, these poorer people voted for Trump. I just don't understand it because if I am a poor American, I would have voted for Bernie Sanders because at least the guy has some integrity unlike most politicians. And I am sorry to say I would have voted for Kamala Harris if she were not so dumb. Even though I lean Republican in that my values align more with Republican ideals, I consider whether a candidate has strong integrity and found none in Trump and Kamala Harris.

As a Minnesotan, I feel as if I’m almost as Canadian as American and proud to say so. Our present sitting president and buffoon unelected sidekick Musk are creating chaos everywhere for the sake of billionaire donors and supporters. Absolutely none of what Trump/Musk has done and plans to continue to do is beneficial to a single non-wealthy American and these actions will harm his personal voters (of which I’ve never been one!) the most. Trump cares not. Pervasive narcissistic sociopathy is not curable! Stand strong Canada! We’re trying mightily to defeat this insanity here in the USA! 74 million people did not vote for any of this harm and destruction and outright cruelty!

I cannot see any sanity, logic, or forward looking, with putting tariffs on our allies. It is hurtful to everyday Americans. Who benefits from this? The wealthy, like t-rump, and his cronies. Meanwhile the traitorious Supreme Court works on bending the law to suit t-rumps bidding. We are early in this presidency. If you think inflation was a very serious concern of t-rump or the repubies, why doesn't he fix it right now? What he is doing is causing inflation to skyrocket with no end in sight. Those of you wealthy who think t-rump is right are a leach who feeds off of taking from those who have little to nothing. If t-rump wanted to he could fix it on day one like he said. He has no idea what he is doing - laying off thousands of federal workers. If there are no manufacturing plants in the U.S. we will have to build them. How long will it take to build these factories and tool them up to accept workers? I am american. I stand with Canada, Mexico and Ukraine. None of this makes sense. Listening to Trudeau I am truly saddened that again USA has somehow elected a man who has systematically dismantling all of American's governments that oversee consumer rights and regulations while simultaneously fiscally attacking our neighbors, closest allies on all of our borders, meanwhile speaking publicly about a globally known dictator whose personal beliefs against democracy in his own country as well as the rest of the free world. I believe that a majority of Americans like myself are left shocked after this election and do not stand behind any of these unorganized, erratic government actions as we're looking at as a whole seem to be purposely creating a atmosphere of chaos and instability seemingly without responsibility there seems to be none in charge.

I loved the speech of PM Trudeau- but one thing he kept saying is wrong. Our government did not do this - One man did this via executive orders. He does not care who he hurts. He does not care about the American people. Trump only cares about himself and his relationship with Mother Russia and Putin. TRUMP doesn't want peace. He is thriving on the chaos that he and Musk are initiating. Trump needs to be impeached immediately but our Congresmaen and women, who are supposed to represent their populations are too scared to do anything other than what Trump tells them to do. Our Government is supported to have a Check and Balance function, but none of the branches have the guts to stand up to TRump. I really believe that Trump's American first policy is to end up as America ALONE.

As a Brit I know many decent integrated Indians here. But none of them are recent arrivals. Older immigrants were respectful and wanted to be British and adopt British ways. But newer immigrants act as if we owe them something while acting in disrespectful dirty disgusting ways. For example in India I have to use Indian toilets as Indians do. I don’t pretend I don’t understand how to use them, I don’t need instructions on the door and I don’t break the toilet by standing on it, shytting up the walls and all over the floor and leave it there like that’s normal. I’ve worked in offices where this was routine when Indian contractors were brought in. Integrated Indian men seem to take great pride in dressing smartly and smelling good. But it’s really common for Indians to smell REALLY BAD. Poor personal hygiene plus excessive amounts of Indian food (you’re abroad ffs try some different food!) creates a truly vile odour. Some Indian men also think it acceptable to stare at and harass British girls (although to be fair they do not have as bad a reputation as their neighbours) they are also rude and racist to white people especially women. Some Indians in 2025 still seem to think they’re living under the Raj and Britain is ‘oppressing’ them. They’re not and we’re not. The empire brought benefits to India and left peacefully over 70 YEARS ago. We don’t owe you ANYTHING. This victim mentality means India will NEVER be a proper first world country. I can't stand this place and especially people! It's sooo dreadful, if I spoke truthfully the comment would get auto deleted. So since it turned out to be the polar opposite of the propaganda and how Canadians talk about themselves to the world (and the type of immigrants who fled poverty and had absolutely nothing back home and for whom Canada is actually an upgrade of sorts), I'll just use Canada as a stepping stone to get back to the US where I studied and got all my degrees and the place was infinitely better than Canada in almost every area. Canada is not perfect and it has its ups and downs. Student has to understand before going on Student visa that with situations rather than keeping intrest in how to make money. 99 % students are interested in only money from day one .But foreign governments think that you have shown your financial documents, are enough for you to survive there even if you have no Job . And it's depends on the country, in which country you have gone and what is your qualification. If students go to UK or USA , thay might make little more money comparing to Canada, Australia or New Zealand. All students should understand before going to any country that only in USA AND UK country are the best to earn money and getting out money from there to india. Otherwise except these two countries none country is there in the world that you can make money there and send maximum money to india. Except these two countries other countries have made situation that whatever you earn there , you will have to spend in that country only. You can't save money to india for living good life in India. And it is good and thankful those countries where person after 18 years has go for job rather than being dependent on parents. And working in bakery with standing whole hours during job is not a new in those English country. They don't force to do that by law . This job is kind of that. Person has to understand job profile before joining the job . By English country law before you start job they will call you for induction and will explain what job you have to do . Life person is happy for that job , he / she can join the job . I think specially students has to look into positive things which in India students are not doing and thay have to do there in foreign countries. I am not trolling you but look into students life where local students in foreign are living and same. If you think this is struggling life then I can say this is not struggling life , students has to think first if they have gone for study or making money from first day. If you are complaining than my suggestion is that look into positive things and if you are just informing that it's good. Good luck

They have free speech in western country is very lucky, but talking some none sense. Ask more respect need to learn western culture where they living. K... is brain waste......? In there birth country's female Muslim not allow to face to face infront men or do anything without Muslim rules restricted.. which country's better life lady.....western treated very one the same, doesn't matter what you are & where you come from. This is the most biased Canadian propaganda I've ever heard. I was standing in line at city hall in Calgary (paying my past due power bill which I can barely afford, even though I make 40k a year.) and watched a flood of immigrants in front of me claiming their 100% free bus passes. Apparently, you need an authorisation letter from welfare to claim your free bus pass, yet, none of them seemed to have documentation that matched their id. One guy picked up six free bus passes with a stack of letters that didn't match his name, or, even surname, at all. The cashiers seemed like they had just given up and handed over the bus passes saying, "next time make sure the person named in the letter is here to pick it up in their free pass person." <sigh>
