It’s sad being a born Canadian and watching the land I love turn into an income battleground. Nobody wants to hire someone with the thought of training. They want people with experience but won’t give the experience to those who lived here and need it. They’d rather hire someone from somewhere else that has experience and then fails to follow through as the born and raised person given the opportunity would. What I don’t get is America isn’t against immigrants coming to America (the legal way) but people want to protest coming here illegally and are upset people are getting deported because they didn’t come the legal way. I work with a ton of guys that came to America the legal way and are all for deporting the illegals back to where they came from. The legal immigrants work hard and pay taxes and illegals don’t pay taxes they get benefits and haven’t paid their dues like the legal immigrants had to do to get in. Taking care of illegals takes away from Americans getting the help they need and we have to pay taxes. They protest and wave the Mexico flag holding signs saying “Immigrants built America” and $hit on the things America has done for them. If they built America and are so proud to be from Mexico then why don’t you build Mexico up like you say you did in America. If it’s so great why are you coming to America illegally and running from your country. China has done despite massive population because it has hidden dictatorship and there are no inside traitors. Many entities within and outside India are doing their level best to break and shake India. \n\nI am from Canada, I just arrived in India on vacation. It disturbed me a lot to see trash and garbage everywhere ( especially on Kurla-Andheri-Mankhurd) on the streets from Mumbai airport, the town planning, landscape, traffic, road quality, people's civic sense (and many more things to mention) are in worst shape which is not a sign of good quality life. Especially when you enjoy lavish, luxurious, clean hygienic, sustematic life style abroad, you naturally tend tobe fascinated with that country, no matter how much patriotic you're. Somewhere people make the problem, somewhere government or governing bodies and somewhere both. \nForeign visitors must be experiencing what I experienced. According to the Constitution (the Supreme Court disagrees with me), Trump incited citizens to overthrown the certification of the 2020 election. Insurrection is one of the lowest acts any American can do, let alone a U.S. President. Trump states that the “insurrection” falls under immunity for “official acts”. Since when is “insurrection” an “official presidential duty”? Trump is a known Master Liar. This is beyond a moment when a president estimates, guesses and exaggerate numbers, figures and facts. Trump just lies – over 2k+ lies. Trump cannot be trusted in telling Americans the truth. Every time Trump opens his mouth, a lie flies out! Trump doesn’t appear to be able to help himself. One lie after another. Spreading the lie that the 2020 election was “stolen” and not providing legal evidence is an unforgivable act that Americans should #NEVER forget. MAGA, selected GOP, Christian Nationalists don’t appear to be troubled that Trump cannot tell the truth. To me, the truth strengthens the bond of trust – I have NO Trust for Trump! MAGA, Christian Nationalists and some selected GOP – I may use big words that you don’t comprehend such as: Liar, Convicted Felon, sexual misconduct, Insurrection, Fraud, election interference, Unauthorized Possession of classified documents. These are some, not ALL, of the words that defines Trump and his actions. These things do NOT appear to cause any concerns with the 71.2m people who cast their vote in the Nov 5th ’24 presidential election. Trump had unauthorized possession of classified material. (I am not certain what Classified Material Trump possessed, but if these documents would put my friends, my family and I in harm’s way – it’s a problem.) Again, those who voted for Trump, the 71.2m people, #NEVER thought about this. If they had, Trump would #NEVER have received their vote. America has a short attention span. How quickly have we forgotten that Trump’s inaction of Covid-19 could have prevented many from becoming ill and millions losing their lives. (If one of your loved ones have passed due to Covid-19, you will remember Trump’s inability to deal and handle the situation. It is something you will #NEVER forget.) I will not write a book here, but the listed reasons above is why Trump may be the 47th President of the United States, but he isn’t my president. Canada should put 5 year temporary stop on International students from any country in world! This is will settle the excess that has got in and after 2029, Canada should resume International students. This will fix job crisis as it is imposible to get a job at Tim Hortons, AW, Subway and all franchise businesses. Just 5 year ban on any student who is not Canadian. This ban should be done in very thoughtful manner without insulting any country, citizenship, race, gender or anything. Sometimes you have to clean entire house and in order do that you have to ask people to stay outside house for some time.

It still is the case, as I go back to visit family in the US regularly and the job prospects are grim, the pensions are even less secure, and union membership is even starker than here. Precarious work is the norm in western nations, and its often worse than in Canada. As a dual citizen, I could choose to get up and move tomorrow, but I'll never return to the US as there is worse places to live than Canada... But I did have a long journey to find stable employment, so I realize Canada isn't perfect. Have you thought about ending work as a content creator on YouTube and doing something that might be more productive or fulfilling? It might be a start to a better future. It may even be better than moving to a different country that would have the same or worse problems.

And I would even go so far as to say most Canadians dont hate Indians either. What we DO hate is the disrespect we are being shown by many (not all) of these immigrants coming into OUR country. Many are coming here and expecting US to conform to THEIR ideology, their customs, and their way of life.\n\nWe have Indians worshipping Allah on the streets blocking traffic when they have their temples. We have Indians demanding Syrian (I hope I spelled that correctly, if not then I apologise...) laws be implemented, and we have Indians whom, as you said, are taking many of our jobs because of the mass influx of Indians entering into the country. That last part I FULLY side with you as being our useless gov't's fault.\n\nI cant really blame Canadians for feeling how they feel about what is happening though. Let me ask you this. Based on what I just said. If you had a masss influx of another race come into India and doung all the things I just mentioned along with what you mentioned, how do you think the Indian people would feel? What do you think would happen to those people. I can PROMISE you it wouldnt be as passive as what Canadians or the Canadian gov't has done.

From Poland. Arrived yo Canada at the end of 2020. I am nearing my 4th year here, in a small village. I arrived with my 6-year-old daughter to begin my writing career. Now, 40% of my daughter's childhood has been spent here and I I go to court soon to fight for my child to be returned home to me. After nearly one year- a year of financial hardship because I have to travel without a driver's license and without a group of friends to drive me- I have my very first hearing with a judge in Youth Court in a matter that has no foundation to begin with, follows no rule of law, and acts arbitrarily. My child whom I homeschooled to the praise of the provincial ministry of education and was following a classical liberal arts education path that had her outpacing students in the province was entrusted to the care of a Child Services company (that has a record of placements that have resulted in child murders). My child's life has been irrevocably upset to say the least. NO ONE LEAVING CANADA GIVES THIS STORY AS A RESON FOR QUITTING THIS COUNTRY. I guess no Canadians care about their children like I do my precious gift from God. True, O come from the former Soviet Union where Marshal Law (Emergency Measures Act) were commonplace. I lived through two in Canada in 4 years: one Federal, and one through Provincial Youth Court where I await my turn to see a judge after my daughter was removed from my care. People do not know they have no biological ownership of their children, because I guess few Canadians value their children to care about their own laws. But these laws also apply to immigrants too. What money was taken from me during the move and resettlement, the government takes by creating more expenses for me than I could ever imagine or budget for. Emotionally, I am a wreck. Rather than commencing my writing career, I have been seeking low-income lawyers, reading the provincial law on Youth Protection, filing complaints within a circular system (the watchdog is part of the system not outside of it) and preparing all evidence to prove I have done nothing wrong [just like in communist rule]. Have you ever given any thought to the difficulties in proving your innocence? \nNO ONESEEMS AWARE OF THIS DETERENT TO BRINGING CHILDREN TO CANADA. NO ONE. IT IS THE ONLY ONE I COULD NOT PLAN FOR. All other complaints like the economy, or the weather, or inflation I have survived. But taking away my child, my reason to settle in Canada for a life of freedom for her, my legacy, was unthinkable. People ask me in this small village where is my daughter. Their rosy cheeks become snow white when I tell them. Canadians here are unaware and scared like cattle in a thunder storm. Many are addicted to welfare payments, cannabis, prescription drugs, and television. They all seem to be waiting in a pen of fear. I am stuck here now, with little financial resource to fight for my child's life. It is unfortunate that no one will read my comment because it is an inscrutable wall of text or too frightening. Unless someone reads it, no help will come for my daughter. (Because she is a dual citizen, the local Polish Ambassador will not step in - another drawback for having a Canadian passport). There has been way too many immigrants in all of western countries. It's the obligation of a government to make sure it's done in an intelligent, thoughtful manner. Any country should bring in people that make the country better, not use the resources of the people already there.
