The entire purpose of allowing foreign students in our universities is so that they can learn essential skills to take back and improve their OWN countries. No foreign students should be permitted to work nor should our government be allowing temporary foreign workers when our unemployment rates are the highest they've been in five decades.

Why is it that everythingand I mean everything Canadians want the government to do. THEY DON'T!! Immigration, crime,inflation,homelessness, housing,unemployment, border security, drug trafficking,drug over doses, food banks, foreign interference, pipelines,trade deals,natural resources mining, Israeli solidarity. And what do the bankrupt us on? Climate change. Gonna destroy a once great nation over a thing that can't be changed.

The strategy of corporations exploiting illegal labour practices are never going to go away since it encourages cheap labour without any benefits is a huge leverage for the companies and the government and of course the last but not the least steps like these are not solutions for the unemployed local workers but a huge excuse for the so called organisations to open a huge black market for the illegals even more with higher rates of shipping the possible jobs abroad

Why hasn't the Canadian government lowered Canada's age of consent so young women can get married again and have children instead of relying so heavily on immigrants for our population growth? Why is divorce law so punitive in Canada (a lifetime of alimony payments for marriages ending after ten years) discouraging people from getting married? Why does the Canadian government hate Canadians so much and is not reversing the destructive laws of Steven Harper and the conservatives? Is it the goal of the Canadian government to kill us Canadians and replace us all with immigrants who look like Canada's Aboriginal people? If so then why doesn't Canada protect white people from Aboriginal people so that white people can succeed in Canada?

I live in suburban Toronto right next to Brampton, thanks for bringing attention to this matter. Everything you showed in this video is 100% facts. These guys have turned Toronto into a crime-ridden shithole, tons of home invasions, auto thefts and robberies are through the roof, taking all of the jobs and opportunities away from young Canadians, etc. Youth unemployment in Canada is 25% all because of these guys. These Indians use these shitty no-name "colleges" to sneak their way into Canada and then don't leave when their visas expire and work illegally under table, not paying taxes on their income like the rest of us do. In Brampton, you'll often find 3-4+ families living in the same house. Pretty much any restaurant or establishment you go to, there will be mostly Indians working there, barely any white people. It's a plague.

It's completely destroying the Canadian youth employment, aswell. Corporations are being incentivized by the Canadian government to hire temporary foreign workers so our youth unemployment rates have gone up to 15%+. Walk into a McDonald's, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons, etc, and you'll see nothing but Indians or Bangladeshis who barely speak English. In small towns you don't really see this, but in any major city like Vancouver or GTA you will.

Governments need to start thinking what to do when AI replaces most workers. Hundreds of thousands of people will be unemployed and this will happen sooner than we can imagine. Québec may need immigrants in the very short term, but it will need to deal with mass unemployment in 3 years from now, being very optimistic. Immigration in the AI era needs to be rethought. Being an immigrant myself, I advocate for skilled immigration, but we are on the brink of a social disruption. It's time to take it slow.

Good. Canada does not have enough jobs for its own. All those people unemployed & on social assistance can now take those jobs given to foreigners - especially with minimum wage being so high now. I lived in Canada for 11 years, 2008 - 2019, went to university and worked in Toronto. I come from an upper-middle class family in China, went to a top university in Canada, landed good jobs and I speak English like a native. I got my PR in 2015 and I remember the painful uphill battle I had to go through just get that. All the bureaucracy, redtape, unnecessarily rigid rules, high cost and long wait I received from CIC/IRCC felt like a humiliation to me. Every document was scrutinized and every step had obstacle that fealt unreasonable (my TOEFL examiner ask me why I had to do the language test required by CIC, and I had to visit a notary to validate my Chinese national ID card). It felt uneasy but I understood that these were the rules that everyone had to go through, and moving and integrating into a new society was never meant to be easy. I went back to Canada in 2021 and 2024, and it was evident that the country I once called home had gone down the hill. The streets were screaming crime, unemployment, inflation, drug and filth, it's total social rot. As someone who went through the whole immigration process (and many of my friends who went through the same have left Canada for good, like myself), I attribute much of this to failed immigration policy. I cannot help but feel confused, angry, betrayed and humiliated when I look at the recent immigration policies of Canada and their results, and compare with what I had to go through. The feeling sums up to: Canada penalizes the hard-working and law-abiding people, and rewards the undeserved and the cheaters. Example: when the US creates wars in the Middle East, why does CANADA bear the cost of bringing in refugees? I never regretted moving back to China and East Asia, and I feel bad for those who still truly think of Canada as home, as I am one myself. When the leadership of a country deviates from pragmatism, reason and common sense, and instead embraces idealogies, hypocrisy and political optics, this is what happens. The prices are paid by everyone, immigrant or not. For this, Trudeau deserves a court trial for his incompetence and dereliction of duty; and the people of Canada need some honest and serious retrospection. I will share some words of wisdom by the late Lee Kwan Yew: “Whoever governs Singapore (LKY was the PM and founding father of Singapore) must have that iron in him. Or give it up. This is not a game of cards, this is your life and mine. I've spent a whole lifetime building this and as long as I'm in charge, nobody is going to knock it down.” I hope the clownish weakling politicians in Canada (and, in much of the western world nowadays) can be enlightened a little bit.

This is a horrible situation on both ends and the fact that its all 100% administration failure is sad. Its not fair to anyone not even the immigrants. They keep bringing in more people then the economy can afford to live here I frankly find it ridiculous. I want to know whats driving these policies to continue. My parents came to canada 25 years ago, they payed thousands of dollars to get status here. Now people are getting in as cheap labour that can't even afford to live here so they dogpile 10-15 people in the same 2-3 bedroom apartments or houses and the infrastructure is still being built on the logic of single families when in the reality thr opposite is happening we have sudden crowding because rent is unaffordable due to the massive influx of people, including canadian born nationals that are forced to live in these environments if they don't have support- Its crazy why not close your borders stabilize rebuild infrastructure then slowly work on immigration policies again when the housing market and job market are stable again. Theres absolutely no reason to cite labour shortages when theres an unemployment rate and homeless people everywhere- close the borders- get homes built, throw heavy incentives to join and get educated on any productive field that has a shortage upto and including providing shelter to canadian citizens that decide to pursue these fields and are homeless. Have a fast track rotating incentive down to the year along with guaranteed on job training for all occupations. Such a simple solution so stupid we can't execute it. Too busy squabbling liberal conservative baseline rhetoric that we made ourselves blind to the human cost in our own borders.

there is no indian homeless in that sheltor because we come to this country legally, pay 3 times the tuition to colelges, work part time minimum wage with restricted hours, then we spend in your economy so we provide the labour and also do consumtion and then we pay taxes, and then we use our smart genes to set up businesses and get good jobs or if not then work 2-3 jobs just to earn our living. There are more serious reasons, and the total number of temporary work permit holders as a percentage of the Canadian population is just a small fraction, while there is unemployment and crisis around the world, and the impact of Trump’s tariffs. But immigrants are seen as the black sheep and blamed for everything in all agendas of both parties. If the Canadian government wants to limit businesses from hiring temporary work permit workers, they should set a quota for them. Businesses that cannot hire Canadian workers must leave those positions vacant. All companies like Tim Hortons, Metro, Farms, fast food shops, etc. should be banned from hiring temporary permit workers, and any company that hires more than 10% of its staff must be seriously fined. Is it difficult to do? Too easy.
