I wish we were annexed ASAP

Who thought treating real estate an investment asset wouldn't lead to any problems at all?\nAs an Alberta, canada's economic decline is absolutely disheartening and sad.\nI wish for annexation by the US.\n-Proud Albertan, reluctant canadian.

When was the last time an advanced economy actually started to trend backward while everyone else was pulling ahead? Brazil? Venezuela? Performative, shallow, and stunningly unqualified is probably the best way to describe our administration for the last 10 years. Looking forward to a new chapter but with the Damocles' sword of tariffs and annexation hanging over our heads, well, maybe soon we'll be wishing things were only as f**ked as they were in 2024...

I grew up in Glace Bay, NS with my White brothers and sisters, things were normal and how our founding fathers intended. It only took a few years to completely ruin this country! This isn't Canada anymore, and that is a fact. Just go to a Tim Hortons or a Walmart and you will think you're in India; for every 20 Indians you might spot 3 White people, it's insane! This is the age of the Great RESETtlement. Anyone else wish the war of 1812 went the other way? We border the most free nation on earth and an invisible line keeps us trapped in this prison. I hope the US annexes Canada some day.
